17/09/2024: I stopped there, exhausted, after a long train journey, to have a simple coffee. Looking for a quiet place to do a video in the afternoon, I asked the manager present for advice when I arrived. I then met an extraordinary woman who took the time to recommend a few places to me, including a very good bakery where I was able to have a good lunch. Life is made of simple pleasure and quality encounters. Thank you for this moment.

31/07/2024: A discovery with this restaurant, traditional and quality menus. The service is very good with a very pleasant waitress. A good place for lunch in St Herblain.

16/08/2024: We reserve a table, arriving there 2 minutes in advance the manager tells us that there was a misunderstanding.. No table.. A lack of respect..

17/08/2024: We loved our stay at Hôtel de la Marine. The only negative comment we can give is regarding the sink which was really too small.

30/08/2024: To begin with, the food is very good. On the other hand, the service of an arrogant waitress like 10 who makes customers feel like they are stupid and that they are bothering the lady is unacceptable...she rolled her eyes and whined. So, even though we ate very well (before canceling the dessert since after more than two hours we were still waiting to receive it)... for the sad service, we are not going to refer this restaurant.

30/04/2024: Des galettes à emporter, fallait y penser. Pour un repas bon et rapide n'hésitez pas à y faire une pause. Vous y serez très bien accueillis

11/08/2024: Nous sommes venus à l'occasion d'un anniversaire. Nous avons apprécié le menu complet avec ses mets raffinés aux bonnes saveurs, mention spéciale au chef. Nous aurions bien donné la note de 5 mais petit bémol les deux personnes de service ce soir-là auraient gagné à être un peu plus souriantes ( un vrai sourire et non un sourire contraint) moins froides, et moins cassantes avec certains clients Cette attitude pouvant donner l'impression de déranger.

06/08/2024: We wanted to go there. On the site it says that it was open and when we arrive there it is closed. It's okay to go on leave, but it's not okay not to keep your site up to date, in order to inform your potential new customers. Not cool !

25/06/2024: Maybe one day without...? The owner recognized bar and restaurant service below standards. Not taken into account by a commercial gesture but he “thanked me for my feedback” So what? A somewhat authoritarian welcome upon our arrival. Nice place though.

24/06/2024: We received a gift box which introduced us to this magnificent estate! The delicious meal, a treat! Well done to the chef and the whole team! Thank you for everything ! We will come back, for sure!

22/08/2024: Mid-August 2024: Arrived around 7 p.m. without reservation. The restaurant is only ¾ empty, the outside is a little more full. Nevertheless, we are taken to a table at the other end of the restaurant, 2m from the kitchens: terrible noises between the dishes clashing, those falling on the floor and the discussions of the employees, because it is also, apparently he says, the place where they can take short breaks. After several minutes, a transparent curtain is drawn behind us for a semblance of privacy, I suppose, but which in no way hides the noise which will last throughout our meal. This is also the place where the waiters come back to collect the bread to bring to the tables. Pieces regularly fall to the ground and remain on the floor. They are only collected after a certain time and put aside. The order arrives: 3 spring rolls, 1 hamburger, 1 cod. The spring rolls are served on damaged salad and mint leaves, the hamburger could not be finished: hard bits (supposedly pieces of cartilage) in the meat, as for the cod, very average compared to the price. When we left around 8 p.m., the room was still ¾ empty. So why put us in the kitchen passage? No doubt to optimize the available surfaces. The calculation is not correct. We won't come back.

24/08/2024: Très bon moment. Thierry est accueillant, attentif et nous partage sa passion du pain et de ses traditions. Un excellent moment de partage aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants.

22/08/2024: we had a lovely time with my 6 year old son, Thierry is a pleasant person and tells us with passion his story and his know-how, thank you for sharing. To do again without hesitation.

01/09/2024: Missing is the announcement of what is offered in 1) aperitif tasting, and 2) the cheese plate. Setting the cutlery is not always successful. But “VERY GOOD CUISINE”.
