15/01/2026: Review for Le Petit Pêcheur restaurant before the change of ownership: The staff is friendly but a bit quiet (sometimes better than overly talkative people). The complimentary amuse-bouche was delicious. The presentation of the dishes was exceptional, a feast for the eyes, then a delight for the palate! The place could use a real refresh, both inside and out. Special attention could be paid to cleaning (dirty and peeling door frames, cobwebs on the entrance door...).

28/02/2026: Beautiful decor. The service and ambiance are warm and very pleasant. The dishes are carefully prepared and delicious. Fresh ingredients. The only downside: before going, you should check if they are catering to groups. If so, the service is very slow.

22/11/2025: Incredible! For a truly affordable price, you get exceptionally high-quality homemade food (and the portions are generous too). It's definitely one of my favorite places in Nantes. And as if that weren't enough, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. You always feel so welcome there. I highly recommend it!

07/09/2025: We had lunch at the edge of the woods a week ago. We really enjoyed the setting. We had a table inside, which was obviously a few years old but was well-maintained and in very good condition. The room was opulent and quiet. We had a beautiful view of the terrace, which was very green and beautiful. On the other hand, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. The appetizers were pleasant, but the rest was not up to par. The main course was sea bass with beurre blanc sauce, served as they would have been 20 or 30 years ago. The dessert consisted of figs that had absolutely no flavor. Really none, which is surprising at this time of year when these fruits are at their peak. The service was unfriendly, unreceptive, and gave the impression of working under pressure, without pleasure. We reflected that this beautiful setting deserved a refresh of the culinary offerings.

16/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance the evening of the storm! No reservation! What a delightful surprise! A menu to suit all tastes, beautifully presented dishes, and a surprisingly good wine list 🤩 (we could tell they were connoisseurs of fine vineyards). Chance played its part perfectly. I highly recommend it.

16/09/2025: A daily special that's always simple (in a good way), hearty, efficient, and affordable, with a well-thought-out loyalty card. A regularly updated selection of draft beers at normal prices. A friendly owner and team...in short, a good address.

26/02/2026: Returning for the second time, one-night stay, room for 3 people. Clean room, modern bathroom, some minor signs of wear and tear compared to two years ago. Paid parking €10 per day, limited spaces nearby due to several residences and reserved spots. Bar and restaurant with reasonable prices, but we didn't try them. The reception was a bit curt compared to the free parking nearby: the receptionist tells you there are plenty of spaces around... but that's not true. Decent location. Billiards and foosball.
