10/06/2026: Perfect welcome. Booked using a Smartbox voucher. Nearby parking is available for €15 per day. We opted for a paid upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the river and the old castle, which we were very glad we did! A beautiful, functional room with an en-suite shower room, tastefully decorated for our recent wedding. Very comfortable bedding 👌. The private spa session was much appreciated. A delicious dinner with delightful cocktails and wines that we selected from the menu to complement our meal. The dining room was pleasant with bay windows facing the old castle. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with a wide selection of fresh, homemade, and local products (both hot and cold). We received a wonderful farewell at reception, as always, with a charming welcome. We were delighted with our stay. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you to the entire team 🤗

01/06/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western in Clisson. The hotel is beautiful and very well located, but what truly makes the difference is the quality of the service. The entire team is exceptionally friendly and professional. The receptionists are smiling, available, and always ready to help (Soulaimane, Stéphanie, etc.). The breakfast staff are attentive and ensure everything runs smoothly. The same is true at the bar, where the welcome is warm and friendly. A big thank you to all the staff for their kindness and good humor, which contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. We will gladly return!

15/08/2026: While sightseeing in the area on Friday, August 14th (staying in a gîte in Saint Philbert), we were going to visit the Maison du Lac and decided to eat at this little restaurant, Le Commerce. The service was excellent, with a smiling and pleasant waitress throughout the meal. I ordered mussels (delicious!!) with fries, and she suggested a small broccoli mousseline (also delicious! It melted in my mouth). The prices were very reasonable: €14.90 for a generous main course and dessert (other set menus are available with a cold buffet as a starter). I highly recommend this place!! It was my favorite restaurant of the entire vacation.

11/08/2026: This was the worst meal I have had in France. The salad nicoise (if you can call it that) was inedible because it was drenched in sauce and instead of a seared slice of tuna it appeared to have canned tuna!! And it was 15 euros... Going down to the toilets there was a horrible smell and the sink taps were worn snd scratched.. touching them tap button was horrible.. The experience was horrible. The only great thing is the spot. It's a real shame there is no standard to this place beyond that.

01/09/2026: Ten minutes of waiting on the terrace, the waiter kept coming and going, nothing. I went to the bar to order directly, and they told me the waiter would be right there! And that it wasn't a big deal. I replied, "Okay, it's fine to go have a drink next door." He responded, "No, it's not a big deal, on the contrary..." Well, okay then, I'm next door! Thanks a lot!!! Absolutely terrible, and zero friendliness! They say France is in a bad way, and I agree, even if restaurant owners don't want to work anymore!!! Anyway...

29/08/2026: The staff were very friendly, but we were a little disappointed when we went to this restaurant on a weeknight. We had very few side dish options, only five choices (fries, green beans, carrots, mushrooms, and rice). It's a shame there weren't more starch options, like mashed potatoes, for example, which work very well, and pasta. Apart from that, the price was reasonable. Regarding the ice cream, we were disappointed not to be able to order a milkshake since they were out of milk (which is, however, an important ingredient for desserts and coffees). For our ice cream sundae, there were no more speculoos crumbles (normally included in the recipe). We tried to replace them with something else since there wasn't much left. Finally, we took the liberty of asking the very kind young woman to add more chocolate to the Dame Blanche dessert, as there was practically nothing in the cup, just a thin drizzle on top of the whipped cream. I want to clarify that this comment is simply intended to provide constructive feedback to the staff, who were, in fact, very friendly.

22/08/2026: We were really craving a coffee after a long day at the hospital, and we received a super warm welcome which did us a world of good. Thank you to the whole team, they were fantastic, it's so rare to find such a great experience.

22/08/2026: Our arrival was a bit of a surreal experience. We were right in front of the restaurant and, seeing that there was availability online for that same time, we decided to go in without a reservation. It was around 1:10 PM and they told us they were full and couldn't serve us, even though the place was half empty. We left, made an online reservation from the door for 1:15 PM—there was plenty of availability—and five minutes later we went back in with our reservation. This time they seated us and served us normally. That said, once inside the service was good and the food was delicious. The strangest thing was that hardly any other customers arrived during our meal, maybe one more table. We left happy with the food, but not quite understanding why they couldn't serve us five minutes earlier and why a reservation made right there at the door changed everything.

22/08/2026: We loved the restaurant boat: the attentive and friendly service, the unbeatable atmosphere, the even better views, and the very good and generous portions, which are hard to find these days. The value for money is also a big plus. Thank you for everything.

02/08/2026: The cleanliness of the outdoor tables was very poor (some uncleaned tables were sticky to the touch, ashtrays with cigarettes sitting in water). A major drawback was the service: we were served by a young woman about as welcoming as a prison guard. I have rarely seen such an unpleasant and unfriendly person: no smile, no eye contact, she made us feel like we were bothering her. Regardless of whether we had a difficult day, such disdainful behavior is, in my opinion, unacceptable. A second visit clearly confirmed our initial impression.
