13/02/2026: Cozy and warm space, the homemade chocolate is a treat, superb atmosphere.

21/01/2026: This is very often our lunchtime "canteen". The menus vary every day, the dishes are generous (with a special mention for the way the fish is cooked, which we love), the service is quick and the welcome is always warm thanks to Olivia and Isabelle.

10/06/2026: Perfect welcome. Booked using a Smartbox voucher. Nearby parking is available for €15 per day. We opted for a paid upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the river and the old castle, which we were very glad we did! A beautiful, functional room with an en-suite shower room, tastefully decorated for our recent wedding. Very comfortable bedding 👌. The private spa session was much appreciated. A delicious dinner with delightful cocktails and wines that we selected from the menu to complement our meal. The dining room was pleasant with bay windows facing the old castle. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with a wide selection of fresh, homemade, and local products (both hot and cold). We received a wonderful farewell at reception, as always, with a charming welcome. We were delighted with our stay. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you to the entire team 🤗

01/06/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at the Best Western in Clisson. The hotel is beautiful and very well located, but what truly makes the difference is the quality of the service. The entire team is exceptionally friendly and professional. The receptionists are smiling, available, and always ready to help (Soulaimane, Stéphanie, etc.). The breakfast staff are attentive and ensure everything runs smoothly. The same is true at the bar, where the welcome is warm and friendly. A big thank you to all the staff for their kindness and good humor, which contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. We will gladly return!

16/06/2026: What a disappointment… We ate NOTHING. The crying tiger was sour, the meat more blue than bloody, and overall the taste was really bad. I was sick that same evening. The coffee was much too strong, undrinkable. Apart from that, the setting was magnificent, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and the service was quick!

14/06/2026: The food, the service, the location… almost everything is perfect. One major drawback: the cleanliness of the restrooms needs a complete overhaul.

28/04/2026: I ordered a hot chocolate at 10:15, and the owner didn't seem too happy about it. As I was leaving her bistro, I heard her say, "Ugh, they're annoying me with their hot chocolate!" Wow, the holidays were off to a great start, lol 🤣 Sorry, beer or an aperitif is too early for me. She seems bossy, especially with her staff. But she shouldn't forget that it's lucky she has the tourists to make her money. I think she should change careers. So I didn't go back all week. There's a betting shop (PMU) not far from her place, and they were very friendly. I went there every day, and they recognize their customers.

11/07/2026: The galettes were very inconsistent; this crêperie ranged from mediocre to quite good. One galette had decent andouillette sausage, while another, with cheese and egg, or bacon and raclette, had stingy portions, even though we were there at the beginning of service. This inconsistency was also evident in the cooking: some were overcooked, while others were oily and tender in the center. The edges were dry—had they been reheated? Finally, even during a heatwave, we had to ask three times for a carafe of water! Not to mention the cramped toilets, which are right next to the kitchen. This restaurant is best forgotten. All this for €92 for five people.

08/07/2026: Visit in May and June 2026 Disappointed by the owner's welcome, who didn't even bother to say hello, clearly stressed. Luckily, Benoit and Filipe, the waiters, were very pleasant and attentive! What a difference between May, when the tables were too close together, and June, when the terrace was less crowded and therefore much more spacious, with a much more pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere. As for the crêpe maker, we thanked her on our way out for her famous galettes, which were delicious. We will definitely come back when the owners are no longer there. The atmosphere is much more relaxed, and the tables aren't cleared at breakneck speed to free up a table. Of course, given the current heatwave, we dared to ask for a carafe of cold water and received a carafe of hot water, which was room temperature. We asked if it would be possible to have some ice cubes, which the waiter kindly brought us, but then implied that there were bottles of Vittel water for sale! We consider this to be high-pressure sales tactics. Best of luck to the team for the season. We hope they can weather the storm.

06/05/2026: 4-star campsite with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Quiet location with only private owners, close to the sea and the town centre (approximately 1.5 km).

25/05/2026: After a lovely hot day in Pornic, we wanted a quick bite before leaving. We ordered buckwheat waffles somewhat randomly and they were delicious. I highly recommend this place.

23/05/2026: Average! No option to swap dessert for a scoop of ice cream… No sugar with coffee; you have to ask for it at the bar… little things like that make all the difference compared to other restaurants. I'm really not sure I'll be back.

07/06/2026: Excellent evening at Rio. Perfect welcome, the appetizers were perfectly portioned. The Bokit was excellent and the desserts exquisite! Very good value for money! The menu is varied, yet everything is homemade by the chef. Thank you for your kindness and warm welcome. It's a pleasure to have such a great establishment. 🤗
