19/11/2025: A very pleasant place, a very warm welcome, and quality food ✨ We had a wonderful time. The service was quick and efficient, the fries were homemade, the meat was excellent, and the dessert was delicious. Having heard it was my birthday, they thoughtfully added little candles to my dessert. The service was truly exceptional and so rare in other establishments. Thank you for this lovely experience!

13/11/2025: Small restaurant in Gramat, opposite the post office. Friendly welcome. The veal shoulder was melt-in-your-mouth tender! Excellent. And the caramelized walnut tart was to die for.

06/01/2026: What can I say?! A true local producer… the taste and the products are exceptional. We tried many of their prepared dishes, but also the trout prepared gravlax-style, and even the restaurant during the summer! In short, we're huge fans and the team is lovely 🫶🏻

02/03/2026: After wandering the village and checking a few reviews we decided to stop here for lunch. It was a good choice, the gentleman who served us was friendly and helpful, bonus was he also spoke some English. The prices were ok, the meal was tasty and enjoyable. We decided on the plat de jour with a carafe of wine. We would eat here again.

19/08/2025: It's always a pleasure to dine at this iconic Marre family establishment. The welcome is always warm, Alexandre's cuisine is delicious, and the historic setting is a feast for the eyes.

12/09/2025: Run away. If you want to get food poisoning, go ahead. We were served apple juice for a 16-month-old baby that had expired in May 2023 and coke that had expired in December 2024. Then duck that I didn't eat because of the awful smell it gave off, and when I told the boss he made fun of me to his cook and was very unpleasant. Do not go there at all.

10/09/2025: While passing through Martel, we only ate at the restaurant. We had a wonderful time. A generously garnished Quercy salad or a tender, perfectly cooked sirloin steak followed by a fabulous blueberry delight. All at a very reasonable price. We sincerely recommend this restaurant.

20/09/2025: We ate at La Gabare last night with my partner and her mother. It's always so good and plentiful. The restaurant is for sale, I hope it's just a passing idea because we would miss the kindness, the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes and their great generosity. It's the second time I've had the mountain burger and I'm enjoying it so much that I hope to be able to eat more next year. And if the restaurant sells anyway, we'll follow Cathy, the owner, in her projects which we hope won't be too far off.

08/02/2026: Boulangerie BA was an excellent choice for breakfast. The atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful, perfect for starting the day calmly. The quality of the products is remarkable, especially the bread, which is simply excellent: well-made, flavorful, and with an impeccable texture. Breakfast was very satisfying, with a carefully curated and beautifully presented selection that reflects the bakery's artisanal expertise. A highly recommended spot for those who appreciate good bread and well-prepared breakfasts.

09/03/2026: We called at 12:30 on the way to ask if we could come in for lunch, and they said yes. The welcome was perfect, the waitress very pleasant. The dishes were high quality and generous. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend this very friendly little restaurant. To the owner and staff, don't change a thing, you're the best, thank you.

19/02/2026: We came for lunch as a family and had a wonderful time. Everything was absolutely delicious! We were served quickly. A big thank you to the chef for his kindness: he thoughtfully prepared fries for our daughter instead of Sarlat-style potatoes. This gesture really made a difference. The setting is very pretty and pleasant; it's a very comfortable place. The only slight drawback was the lack of a baby changing table, which is a bit of a shame for such a family-friendly establishment. Otherwise, we highly recommend it!

31/01/2026: The setting and service were very pleasant. An enticing menu, my first experience in Souillac, and a very pleasant surprise. In short, delicious! As for the wine, I discovered a wine from the Lot region that delighted the palate. I highly recommend it.
