19/02/2026: I had a Menu du Jour comprising Rosette de Lyon, steak et fries and a superb Mousse au Chocolat. I could not have been more happy with the quality and the price of €16.50. Stake was the only option, and not one I would normally go for given a choice, but it was served sliced and was perfect. I've been dog sitting outside Montcuq on and off over a month for absent friends. This café - and the bistrot opposite - represent really good value and the cooks / proprietors of both are smiley types with similarly helpful smiley staff.

15/02/2026: The place is very nice, although a bit noisy (it was packed). Despite that, the service was quick. The menu is extensive. (The best cassoulet of the week!)

We were delighted with this discovery! As a bonus, they provided a booster seat for babies (it's great to be prepared!). Thank you!

13/02/2026: For me, one of the best restaurants in Figeac. We've eaten at others, sometimes just as good, but they were always missing something. So I always come back.

19/01/2026: Efficient service, however, questionable hygiene, the manager is incredibly unpleasant, never smiles, and behaves badly towards both her employees and customers. She confuses fresh products with frozen products, and sometimes they're not properly thawed. A shame, given the lovely setting.

18/01/2026: Meal for my birthday. Very warm welcome. Excellent food. Plates with quality ingredients and generous portions. To finish, a delicious homemade cake. I highly recommend this very friendly restaurant.

04/03/2026: My wife and I had a lovely Valentines dinner here, the food was superb, there was a live singer so there was a great atmosphere and the lovely champagne also helped!

02/03/2026: We weren't aware there had been a significant change since our last visit; it's nothing like what we were used to. It's not bad, but €30 for frozen fish and chips with frozen chocolate mousse, a coffee, and a Coke isn't exactly a rip-off, but you'd expect better at that price. We drove 20 minutes to get there, and now it's no longer worth the trip.

14/12/2025: First visit this Sunday at lunchtime, the experience was relatively good. The establishment is chic, well-maintained, and clean. The table setting was lovely. The welcome was basic. The service was smooth, with little waiting between courses, which were also quite generous. The price was justified. However, I would have appreciated a little more explanation about the wine (perhaps a tasting beforehand; the "Séisme" Syrah is a bit surprising) and the dishes.

13/02/2026: A superb discovery. Delicious food, very reasonable prices, and pleasant service. The pizzas are excellent, as are the burgers and homemade fries. A sure bet!

23/10/2025: The four of us had lunch and had a wonderful time! The dishes were delicious, well-presented, and prepared with quality ingredients. The service was both warm and attentive. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere; you feel at home from the moment you arrive. A wonderful place that we recommend without hesitation—we'll be back with pleasure! 🍽️👏
