Two dining rooms, two atmospheres, and both magical: on one side, an authentic buron (traditional shepherd's hut) that still seems to carry the spirit of those who once worked there; on the other, a more modern room offering a breathtaking panorama of the Aubrac plateau. On the plate, generous, authentic, and delicious cuisine that showcases local produce. The welcome is warm and the service attentive, with a generosity that makes you feel instantly at ease. In short, a truly wonderful place, full of charm and authenticity, from which we left enchanted. An excellent memory that we will cherish from our time in Aubrac!

16/08/2026: A truly wonderful gourmet restaurant with very reasonable prices considering the quality and quantity of the dishes. All the staff are incredibly friendly and pleasant. Even our little dog was treated like royalty 😉 Well done, don't change a thing, we'll definitely be back.

26/04/2026: A group of 23 people (motorcyclists) stayed for two nights, half-board. The entire group appreciated the warm welcome from Ms. Robert and her team, the quality of service, the hotel's amenities, and the beautiful surroundings... Thank you. The food is a highlight, even with the half-board option! And what a pleasure it was to have a drink in the lounge or on the garden terrace... Excellent value for money... and a secure garage for the motorcycles... We just want to come back.

31/05/2026: We spent a night there on May 21st while hiking the Stevenson Trail. The welcome was very pleasant. The setting is magnificent with its small garden; a very welcome haven of peace after a hike. The cuisine is refined and delicious; the service attentive. The room was spacious with its small balcony; the bedding perfect. A must-visit if you're in the area 😊

28/05/2026: We spent two days at La Lozerette on a half-board basis. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the rooms, the breakfasts with homemade jams and gingerbread, and the excellent evening meals!

10/06/2026: A very warm and friendly welcome. A very pleasant waitress. We stayed one night and had a meal; we thoroughly enjoyed it. We brought our dogs and were very well received.

15/08/2026: We had a great time at Comptoir de la Regordane. From the food to the friendliness of the servers, everything was fantastic. They offer the same dishes for children as for adults, but in smaller portions, which is a nice change from steak and fries. The shop selling local products is very well-stocked. We'll definitely be back!

14/08/2026: 100% homemade and local! A very nice and authentic place. The portions aren't huge, though, so be warned if you have a big appetite… The shop attached to the restaurant is worth a visit as it offers many local specialties.

22/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in Mende. The service was top-notch and attentive. The food was excellent. I highly recommend it. Book in advance, otherwise you won't get a table. We managed to get the last four. Luckily! Well done to them and thank you again for your hospitality.

26/05/2026: A fantastic stop on the GR65. A very warm welcome. Excellent meals. Breakfast was also very good, but served a little late compared to other guesthouses (7:30 am). Fellow hikers: don't carry extra water between Aumont and Nasbinals! There are plenty of drinking water fountains along the way!

19/05/2026: Superb hotel! The location is magnificent, surrounded by forests. The hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated. The couple who own the establishment are lovely, and the husband even gave us excellent advice for hiking on the GR65. Dinner and breakfast are excellent—ah, the homemade aligot! I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

25/08/2026: A huge thank you for your excellent bread and brioche, which we thoroughly enjoyed thanks to your vending machine in Rozier. Staying at the Volpillère campsite, it was perfect! I forgot to mention that the bread doesn't arrive automatically and you have to bring it to us, so thank you twice over :)

06/08/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the individual vegetable tarts and the open-faced sandwiches, which were truly excellent. Perfect for a picnic on the Tarn River. The baguette was also very good. I was also able to bring back some local honey at a very reasonable price. I can't wait to try it! Thank you 😁

19/11/2025: A very pleasant little restaurant. Excellent cuisine featuring local produce. Refined flavors. The service is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant isn't very large, so reservations are recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Kudos to the chef and his staff, who deserve to be well-known; I highly recommend it.
