15/10/2025: Reservation for lunch! We discovered a lovely shop in a medieval village to visit! The dining room is surrounded by jars, bags of biscuits and other things! Chestnuts, honey, jams, Pouget soups, all the local products of the area are gathered there, including lemonades, wine and craft beers! For lunch: meat pie or trout, crumble and other tasty sweet dishes! Everything was delicate and delicious! Bravo!

04/11/2025: We had a wonderful time! The setting is very pleasant, in the middle of a fabulous location. The €23.50 set menu was truly delicious and generous, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the cheese course! You can tell the chef is passionate, working with his own produce (vegetables, meats, charcuterie, etc.). The welcome was fantastic. We thought there were no more little gems like this in France >>>WRONG!!!! There's Auberge des Laubies.

18/01/2026: Our entire team received a very warm welcome from the family at the Lion d'Or. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the cuisine is high-quality, fresh, and seasonal. I highly recommend this establishment, ideally located for exploring the Aubrac plateau.

09/07/2025: We spent last weekend in a very clean room, the owner was very friendly, we were delighted with our stay.

09/07/2025: We spent 2 days at the hotel. The hosts welcomed us very well, as did all the staff at the hotel and the restaurant where we ate the first evening. The meal was EXCELLENT! We had the beef and the venison, and both dishes were cooked perfectly. We also booked an hour of spa time and a massage, which were very much appreciated! In short, a very good stay, we recommend it!!

30/01/2026: Very nice. For me, this is a restaurant I'd forgotten about in Mende because it's a bit out of the way and, more importantly, the storefront isn't very visible to passersby. The meal was excellent and the welcome was warm.

04/11/2025: It had been at least 20 years since I had returned, and it was still just as good, beautiful room, magnificent breakfast room, same for the restaurant, only slight drawback is the menu is not cheap, however the food is delicious.

19/08/2024: A new very pleasant meal at the Duplex, always very gourmet cuisine, local products, well presented for a reasonable price. Welcome and attentive and very smiling service! The nice Marvejols restaurant and the careful cuisine in the city center. Warm decoration, beautiful terrace. Very good for group meals.

28/09/2025: We just discovered this wonderful bakery located in La Malène. A very warm welcome. The breads are delicious, as are the homemade brioches, risoles, and cakes. A wide selection of jams and honeys. Le Fournil also sells groceries. A very pleasant shop. Michel and Marie Moulin Lyon

29/11/2025: I have stayed here twice now when walking the Chemin de Compostelle and each time it has been very good. The first time I stayed in the dormitory accommodation, which is one large sleeping area with shared facilities and a little kitchen downstairs. The second time I stayed in one of the hotel-style rooms, with private bathroom. Both times I slept well and everything was clean and as it should be. The communal meals are taken in the hotel restaurant and were very good. Breakfast in particular was copious and complete - a great start to the day's walk. The staff were helpful and friendly (the second visit, which was at the end of the Camino season, the whole place was effectively being run by one young woman who did a fantastic job).
