14/05/2026: Clean hotel, welcoming and friendly staff, very comfortable bedding, full breakfasts, easy access from the motorway

11/04/2026: A great place to stop on a long road trip. The hotel is adjacent to the highway. Conveniently located. Despite the proximity to the highway, the rooms are quiet. Large, comfortable, clean rooms. The food in the restaurant is very inexpensive by French prices and, most importantly, delicious and beautifully served. The staff is friendly and smiling. We arrived late at night at 10:20 PM, despite the late hour and the staff being tired from the day, we were greeted with a smile and fed, even though it was late. Excellent breakfast and a very nice atmosphere in the bar. We didn't expect a roadside hotel to be so clean, cozy, and excellent value for money. And most importantly, it is open for check-in until 10:30 PM.

14/06/2026: Lunch with my wife. Alte on the Camino de Santiago. We had booked because of the restaurant's reputation. The experience lived up to expectations. Super efficient service, top-notch food. The charcuterie board was both beautifully presented and featured excellent products. The Abrac beef melted in your mouth. Aligot served hot in a pan. Profiteroles with choux pastry and homemade hot chocolate. A nap was definitely in order before continuing our hike. A truly wonderful place. A must-visit in my opinion.

12/10/2026: I appreciate Intermarché because the welcome is always warm and friendly, with a smile and a pleasant atmosphere. They show me a lot of respect, and I thank the managers, cashiers, and department staff.

08/07/2026: Family meal, neutral opinion but exorbitant prices, especially for a piece of sausage with fries and mushroom sauce at... €22.50. And then an extra €3 if you order aligot, I think that's clearly outrageous, especially considering it's a local specialty, so there's no need to inflate the prices (it's not like the product comes from the other end of France with added costs). That's my opinion. A bit disappointed by these "tourist" practices.

02/07/2026: For guests with reduced mobility, this isn't the place for you! There's only one accessible room, and it's not actually accessible. It's impossible to get into bed because there isn't enough space between the walls and the (sealed) bed for a wheelchair. This didn't seem to bother them too much. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place with a stunning view and a very nice restaurant.

29/01/2026: It's more like a two-star than a three-star hotel. I was given a supposedly luxury room without being told it was a special room for disabled guests. While I have nothing against disabled people, it would have been helpful to be informed beforehand. The rooms are mediocre and often very crowded in the morning showers, with no hot water – in short, a disaster. Not to mention the noise from the upstairs neighbor until midnight, when it sounded like she was moving furniture. The reception was pleasant enough, and the hostess isn't to blame, but overall, not a great experience.

07/10/2026: A bit disappointed by the Périgord cassoulet; it was nothing like cassoulet, the duck breast was tough and not very tasty.

02/10/2026: Generous homemade dishes and desserts in a unique dining room. Perfect for sharing a delicious moment.

26/05/2026: The restaurant was closed at noon on May 26, 2026, even though its website says it's open 🤔!!! What a shame...a wasted trip...

18/08/2026: We had lunch on market day, a full meal including an aperitif and coffee. Very good. Affordable prices. The dining room is a bit small for a group of nine, but the service was quite quick.

28/07/2026: The welcome and service were extremely unpleasant for my group of friends and me, as we were seated at a table surrounded by flies that came to sample the food. The taste of the daily special was acceptable, but finding a pebble in the truffade was unacceptable. After my initial complaint, the waiter asked if I wanted more truffade. Disappointed, he simply left without a word or an apology. After that, no one came to our table despite my second complaint to a young waitress. When the bill arrived, I complained a third time. After asking for a discount myself, which the manager didn't offer, I received a small amount. The food was bland and not worth the price, with meager portions depending on the customer. The restaurant gives a bad impression of this lovely village. I strongly advise against going there, especially if you are young.

10/10/2026: The gîte is ideally located on the Camino de Santiago. The terrace is pleasant. However, the meals and breakfast were of poor quality, the atmosphere was rather unwelcoming, and the gîte wasn't really suited to pilgrims (more like a bar/tobacconist).
