04/05/2026: The duck breast was incredible, the portions were generous and really good. The waiter was welcoming. We had a very good lunch. One of the few restaurants open on Mondays in Mende. Highly recommended.

21/04/2026: A very good time, the setting on the terrace is great.

26/05/2026: A very ordinary brasserie-style restaurant, poor value for money. The main course came with fries or potatoes (not homemade). Three different waitresses served us, none of whom could remember our order even after we'd just placed it. Only the last waitress was any good. We didn't try the hotel.

14/05/2026: In my experience with my parents, we were disturbed by the service, which was far from efficient. We ordered an aperitif, which we received after the starter, and were asked if we wanted drinks with the aperitif, which seemed completely absurd. A waiter paced back and forth to collect our plates even though we hadn't finished. The waiter's attire was inappropriate (his shirt was open). The highlight of the meal was a bland and tasteless Italian-style tartare. The beef steak in wine sauce was tasteless and wine-free. And then there was the duck confit, which was incredibly dry and served with a half-plate of tasteless steamed peas, seemingly straight from a can—no sauce or starch. Finally, the tiramisu needs improvement! The whole experience was rushed through in an hour. We had a third course, which was a disappointment, especially considering the beautiful village. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

13/05/2026: Friendly welcome but expensive for frozen food, very disappointed

01/02/2026: We had car trouble very early this morning. We were freezing. The waitress warmly welcomed us into the café before opening time, in the sweltering heat. We noticed that she greeted the locals with a thoughtful touch for everyone. This person is very important to the village. She brings so much life to the place. She also taught us a new word that we'll try to use in the future. Thank you again for everything! You're a sweetheart!

27/04/2026: With no bakery or convenience store open, we grabbed a quick lunch, arriving at 1 p.m. and leaving 40 minutes later for a 2 p.m. appointment. The waitress and cook were impeccable, the galettes were cooked perfectly, and the filling was just right. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the peace and quiet by the river.

26/10/2025: A very pleasant stay, a very warm welcome from Mélissa. I've been here three times, trying out the rooms and the bungalows. The golf course is well-maintained with a varied course, and the lessons with Julie ASSENAT are friendly.
