20/10/2025: While passing through Saumur, we happened to have lunch there and it was a "good choice."
Pleasant setting, attentive service, even if there was a bit of a delay between the starter and main course, but everything was well served and excellent for a €30 menu (starter, main course, dessert).
An address to keep in my favorite restaurants.

20/11/2025: I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a while.
I finally did, and I should have come sooner! It's a great place; the food is excellent and reasonably priced.
Water is served either by the carafe or as filtered sparkling or still water. They don't sell bottled water of any particular brand.
The service is quite fast.
The pig's trotter crépinette is delicious. It was my first time trying it.
The trio of crème brûlées is fantastic. It's perfect for Juno.

Generous and delicious dishes.
12/01/2026: Overall, I recommend this restaurant in Saumur. It's a very nice restaurant with good value for money.
However, quite a few dishes were unavailable on the menu, and this happened several times (we came twice in one month), and it was the same every time… The waiter wasn't understanding or polite to us. He lacked professionalism. A shame!
Later, we had other waiters, and they were excellent. A great team.

08/12/2025: This hotel is well located: close to the activities Saumur has to offer, yet peaceful. Magnificent view of the town and its castle.
The welcome was impeccable and pleasant. A true focus on customer service. The room we booked was perfect.
The decor could use a refresh, as the gray, black, and red tones lack vibrancy. The breakfast is very generous and complete. The homemade pudding is amazing!

Great view of Saumur Castle from the terrace!
