25/05/2026: We stopped here between champagne tastings to have a quick launch. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We ordered a croque monsieur and a beef plate, both were average, nothing special. The fries were too oily for our taste. We also had a small croquette with asparagus and cheese that was absolutely delicious. We paid around €50 in total (no wine only 1 coke, 1 coffee and tap water). Our small dog was welcomed!

23/04/2026: Probably one of the most beautiful hotels (and room) we have stayed in. Welcomed in the hotel and spacious room with a cake and pastry and been showed around the hotel by the staff! Two small, personal remarks, I’m not a fan of sensor lighting as going to the restroom in the middle of the night I don’t need all the lights waking me up while going to the toilet. And we were missing a Bluetooth speaker in the room to play some music. The bartender that day wasn’t the best service, ofcourse expecting it to be spot on for a hotel this level. He could also just have had a bad day as it was more a more cold and uninterested vibe he was having. The diner that night was excellent! So many staff walking around but everything flawless. Original flavors and textures of ingredients which were very nice discoveries ! Ofcourse the signature dish was to die for. I’d only suggest to some of the staff to talk a little bit louder as it was sometimes hard to understand when explaining the dishes. The breakfast the next day was delicious!! It just kept coming, hard to say no as I wanted to try it all!! Impeccable service and both sweet and savory parts were super! Congratulations!
30/03/2026: Wow, what a place! We went for our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The room, service and of course the restaurant were all exceptional! I must also the incredible breakfast!!

27/02/2026: My partner and I stopped at this salad bar for a takeaway meal. We ordered two salads and a dessert. The rice in the salad wasn't cooked, or at least barely... and the panna cotta was two days past its expiration date (we went there on February 27th)... We were unfortunately disappointed, as we are regular customers of La Case à Pain... Nevertheless, the place is welcoming.

17/05/2026: Came to Reims for the cathedral. Stayed an extra night for this place. Brasserie Le Jardin is the Bib Gourmand sibling of two-Michelin-starred Le Parc, both inside the seven-hectare park of Domaine Les Crayères. Christophe Moret runs both kitchens. He cooks like a man who has read books. The amuse-bouche is a thin fennel-seed cracker with black olive tapenade. The tapenade tastes the way a potato chip wishes it tasted. The asparagus from Piolenc arrives under a Maltaise sabayon (hollandaise with blood orange juice folded in) and the bitterness in the citrus is doing real work. The seared foie gras lies on a celeriac mousseline that has finally given up pretending to be a potato. The duck is the moment. A peppered magret, sliced and pink, with a dark crust on the fat side that looks exactly like sliced Texas brisket. Same color, same matte texture, same crackled topography. A French chef has produced the chemistry of American barbecue bark on a 12-minute timeline. The beetroot sauce is sour and dark and correct. Cheese trolley: pick five. The regulars go for Bleu d’Auvergne, Morbier, and Comté. Take their advice. The rum baba arrives drenched in Santiago de Cuba Añejo with Madagascar vanilla cream. A Polish dessert invented for a toothless exiled king (allegedly), served in a Champagne brasserie, with Aretha Franklin on the speakers. The bill is the only thing on the table actually from Reims, and it is reasonable. Service warm. Room elegant without being stiff. 16/05/2026: I had made a reservation at this Bib Gourmand restaurant in Reims, but I had mistakenly booked for the following day. Unfortunately, I realized my mistake in front of the restaurant and explained to the staff that I had made a reservation and wanted to come if there was a table available. They kindly showed me to a table, even if only for a short time. The food was delicious, and everyone was very kind; I had a wonderful time. It's a restaurant I would definitely like to visit again when I return to Reims.

The dishes were very flavorful without being overpowering—a balance that the restaurant has mastered perfectly. Culinary Highlights The combination of hot and cold components on the plates was especially impressive. This unique combination showcased the restaurant's creative and modern cuisine. The wine pairings were very well chosen and harmonized perfectly with the dishes. Service Experience What we found took some getting used to was the staff's attitude—there weren't really any smiles. However, the chef de partie was very friendly and frequently asked how we were enjoying our meal. This attentive service rounded off the experience positively. Conclusion Au Carillon Gourmand impresses with its refined, modern French cuisine in an elegant setting. Despite minor shortcomings in service, the restaurant is definitely recommended due to its outstanding food and thoughtful wine pairings.
