18/08/2026: This restaurant has been a local favorite for several years now. Despite the change in ownership, the quality has remained excellent, and the prices are fair considering the quality. For a starter, the tuna tataki with pine nuts and a parmesan crust was simply exquisite. For the main course, the beetroot risotto with two shrimp was also very good. For dessert, the house's signature churros are always a hit! I highly recommend it for families, friends, or a romantic dinner.

13/09/2026: So, this restaurant was recommended to me, but I was disappointed. I booked a table on the terrace, and they said okay. When I arrived, they said, "Oh, sorry, we're not opening the terrace tonight." Finally, on a Saturday night when it was 22 degrees Celsius, they brought us our starters without knives or napkins. We had to ask for them. Unprofessional. I ordered a 300-gram ribeye steak, which I think weighed 150 grams max, full of gristle. I still had to ask for a knife and bread. The spaghetti Bolognese... I'm still looking for the sauce. The profiteroles for dessert were very hard, in my opinion, overcooked. In short, 110 euros for two people with two glasses of wine and half a bottle of sparkling water. They should find another line of work!

24/06/2026: Really nice place for local cuisine! The host is so friendly haha. I'm glad my french speaking partner was around for ordering. We got coffees to start. Good coffee! We got a terrain and gazpacho for starters. Both were delicious! For mains we got the rissoto and the fish. I got a little confused about the fish because it was mashed in with potatoes and for some reason I thought it would be a fillet of fish with vegetables...but I think my partner got confused and ended up ordering something else. It was still very yummy! Would recommend! I wish I had space for dessert. Would love to come back with more appetite 😋 Oh, also recommend getting reservations with phone.

25/08/2026: Besides the heatwave, the welcome is incredibly warm! The dishes are always delicious because they're homemade. The chef surprises us every time, and the wines are local. We savor every last crumb. The clientele is reassuring in every way. I assure you, I'm not related to them, lol.

Traditional cuisine, always beautifully prepared, generous, and hearty. The menu changes with the seasons, which is a real plus: asparagus and strawberries in May and June, melon in the summer, then game and comforting dishes in the winter… The dining room is pleasant, with lovely, spacious tables and refined decor, ideal for a relaxing meal. At lunchtime, a daily special is offered for a quick and affordable meal, but the à la carte prices are also very reasonable. The service is attentive and efficient, with a charming, kind, and considerate owner who always goes the extra mile for his customers. It's a place where you come as much for a delicious meal as for a truly relaxing experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to food lovers and fans of traditional cuisine! 😋

At no point did the waiter ask if we were satisfied. As residents of Nancy, we had a completely different impression of this restaurant. A huge disappointment...

06/09/2026: A wonderful (re)discovery. I had already dined there over 11 years ago. And by chance, my wife and I returned. A very pleasant experience. The setting is truly splendid. The welcome was top-notch. The cuisine was generous and excellent. The prices were reasonable. A place to visit again and again. We'll be back in winter to try their superb cheese dishes.
