05/03/2026: Passing through Ludres, we stumbled upon this restaurant with its enticing menu. We were lucky enough to get a table (it's definitely best to book) and chose the hand-cut steak tartare: absolutely delicious! The quality, price, and service were perfect.

I'm extremely disappointed that the "trucker" sandwich is no longer available... so I ordered another sandwich for almost 13 euros with 3 raw vegetables... but it had red cabbage and mushrooms... the sandwich was much smaller than before... I got 3 pieces of mushroom and 2 pieces of red cabbage...

15/03/2026: Second brunch at Frères Marchand. We came in April 2025 and had a 5-star experience. This time, we were disappointed with the brunch on March 15, 2026, for several reasons: - The portions were generally much smaller compared to last year. - The savory options were no longer as varied or frequently offered. - €8.50 for a one-liter bottle of sparkling water... That's quite expensive. - Only three sweet options (a quarter of a very dry waffle, a caramel pancake, and a slice of blueberry tart that was only 1.5 cm wide). - The price had increased to €36.90 (compared to €31 in 2025). Fortunately, the cheeses and charcuterie were still of very high quality, and coffee/tea and orange juice were still unlimited. It was still a lovely experience, but the price and the reduced selection make us hesitate to return.

15/03/2026: Excellent food but very slow service. It took 45 minutes just to take our drink order. I still recommend it, though.

02/03/2026: Passing through Toul, we chose to eat at Brasserie K, nestled on the former Kleber site. We weren't disappointed by the menu. Everything was delicious and refined, and the service was impeccable. A special mention to Marie, who brightened our day with her attentiveness and lovely smile.

20/01/2026: A truly unique restaurant in an industrial estate, located near the A31 motorway. A very warm welcome and a good menu du jour. They also provided an additional suggestion that sounded excellent. Definitely a place to remember if we're ever traveling through the area!

27/11/2025: Friendly workers, nice brasserie, next to the chateau next-door. Their drink menu is good & standard, but for eating, it’s with courses and it’s not standard. No quick bite. Their toilet was really dirty, and it’s shared between male & female.

11/05/2026: A very bad experience. We arrived at 9:30 pm and the welcome was very cold, with the impression that we were bothering them. If the restaurant no longer wishes to serve at that time, it would be better to state this clearly from the start. I also took the time to explain that I have a very severe gluten allergy/celiac disease, specifically requesting that my risotto be served without bread. Despite this, the dish arrived with bread. After pointing this out, they simply brought me the same dish without the bread, which is completely unacceptable in this type of situation. My friend's dish, pasta, was also very disappointing: rubbery texture and practically inedible. Finally, we had just come from the Stanley Hotel, which had told us that an aperitif was offered at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were simply told that we needed a piece of paper, with no real desire to find a solution or to give us a proper welcome. A very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and food, and the handling of allergies!

11/04/2026: Warm atmosphere, personal service from the owner (?), you can watch the cooking, which we really appreciate. Nice selection on the chalkboard, good food. Highly recommended.

28/04/2026: This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but it's no longer the case. We came, and the waitress's welcome was very, very cold, no smile, just rudeness. The risotto I used to order was good, but now it's swimming in cream, like they've used two large tubs of it, no pepper, no salt, no flavor. Honestly, you really need to change your waitress because there are many people looking for work, and having staff like that is awful. Your restaurant is finished for us. And don't worry, I'll tell all my friends, especially your waitress. If only the manager could call me to discuss this or respond to my review.

27/04/2026: The establishment lives up to its name, the portions are generous, the service impeccable, Ousmane was super professional, extremely kind, you can go there with your eyes closed, don't hesitate!

10/05/2026: I went there for the second time last Monday and, just like the first time, I wasn't disappointed! There really is something for everyone, a varied menu, and several really interesting set menus! The appetizer platter was very complete (a little bonus: the fried fish—it's so rare, but for me, a fish lover, it was a real treat). The portions are generous; you leave feeling satisfied, and frankly, the dishes are really delicious and beautifully presented. Plus, the atmosphere is really pleasant, and the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely be back; it truly deserves top marks. 15/04/2026: A beautiful spot for an afternoon break (they have a sweet and savory menu between 3 and 6 pm, plus an afternoon tea option) in an art deco setting. Admittedly, my cream puffs were a little dry, but the most important thing about profiteroles is the chocolate, which was delicious and so plentiful that I finished it off with a teaspoon! The service was perfect (the waitress was friendly and cheerful), and the place is well worth a visit.
