30/11/2025: During a slightly delayed hike, we enjoyed a delicious meal. The welcome and service were top-notch, friendly, relaxed, and full of smiles 👍. The homemade food was excellent, and the homemade desserts were superb, enjoyed on the sunny terrace during the spring weather. After our meal, we visited the bookstore 👍. Many thanks!

29/11/2025: At 1:15 pm without a reservation, we were extremely well received, the meat was of excellent quality, the desserts were delicious and plentiful, the setting was pleasant with a small view of the Etel river, in short, pure bliss.

11/11/2025: Beautiful historical site. It's a shame the historical information is located in the restrooms. Excellent food, fine dining. A wider selection of fish on the menu would be better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the staff were friendly and accommodating: we arrived a little earlier than expected for the second seating and were warmly welcomed. As for the food, the poached egg was delicious, the portion of beef was very generous, and the vegan dessert was light and very tasty. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended :) L. Lotton

26/12/2025: The only downside to my son's birthday was that after serving dessert, we were asked to leave because other people were arriving. We didn't appreciate it at all because we had to eat our desserts in 10 minutes, and personally, making people leave like that is unacceptable. It's up to you to manage this properly. I gave you advance notice for a birthday party, and you told me during the first seating. We arrived before the scheduled time, and in the end, we had to tell our guests to hurry up and eat, not even giving them time to drink coffee. Sorry, it was a total lack of respect. Considering the price we paid and the way things are these days, the least you can expect is to be respected. The waitress was excellent, helpful, smiling, etc., but the young man was not, sorry.

12/12/2025: What a culinary revelation we experienced last night during our romantic dinner! Not a single misstep throughout the entire meal, and the crackling fireplace was pure bliss. Everything was perfect: the flavor, the cooking, the surprises, the creativity, and the presentation. The waitstaff was impeccable, discreet yet responsive whenever anything was needed. Thank you to the chef and his team, as well as the waitstaff, for taking us on this culinary journey...

11/12/2025: A flawless experience in every respect… we stumbled upon it by chance, a wonderful aroma of wood smoke greeted us, the amuse-bouches whetted our appetites, the lobsters were presented to us before being served perfectly cooked over the fireplace… I won't say more; you simply must discover this place, ideally on a cozy, rainy December day. Congratulations, and don't change a thing.

12/11/2025: I was sick, they served me a great grun and they cured me! Thank you! Great setting and warm atmosphere. The restaurant was also very good with excellent accras in virgin sauce.

17/01/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS for people with reduced mobility. Here's what happened at lunchtime today. I had booked a table for two. The person who greeted us offered us two snack tables with high chairs. However, this wasn't possible because my partner has reduced mobility and is unable to sit in such chairs. He would have fallen for sure! They couldn't offer us a regular table. My partner told him he wasn't being accommodating and left the restaurant... the "unpleasant restaurant owner/waiter" retorted that I should have mentioned it when making the reservation (so it's my fault!!!) and felt that my partner had no right to speak to him... not only is he unpleasant, but he's also touchy (the waiter, of course!). I replied that I didn't know I had to specify on the reservation that I wanted a "regular" table... and that as a restaurant owner, he didn't do anything for people with reduced mobility. Somewhat annoyed, I told him to cancel the reservation. I left the restaurant and forgot to close the door...and then—in the parking lot—I was insulted by this extremely unpleasant and unhelpful restaurant owner (or waiter???). A group was waiting outside and witnessed the scene. So, we went to Augustin's table where we had a very good meal. One thing is for sure: we won't be going back to Barbak.

27/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome, the food was excellent, the meat was very well marbled and melted in your mouth. I highly recommend it for a great time.

07/12/2025: We didn't stay in the rooms but enjoyed the hospitality at the establishment's bar. Very nice and helpful.
