12/07/2026: Greatnlittle restaurant, the peak of French cuisine without paying astronomical prices, well worth it to visit. I loved every minute.

12/07/2026: We booked a table for dinner for a group of 3 and went to eat with my mother and little sister. The food was very good, local traditional food and the service was really good. There is a lot of food for the price and it will easily take at least a couple of hours if you try to eat the whole menu. The salad and main course were especially good. The dessert, pear stewed in red wine and berry tart cake, were fantastic, although the food coma started to weigh on us as soon as we got to the main courses. After the main course, we got small dishes of pear sorbet, which really relieved the feeling of fullness so that we could still taste some cheeses and dessert. I would highly recommend booking a table in advance and setting aside at least 2-3 hours in your calendar, maybe a little more if you really want to taste and digest the food in peace. It's worth going when you're really completely empty stomach. Good air conditioning inside and peaceful French music that wasn't made by AI, which is a big plus.

07/07/2026: I've finally decided to publish my review of this institution, the TrolleyBus. More than just a bar, more than just a run-of-the-mill dive, it's a refuge, a second home, a place that holds my best memories of being a Strasbourg student. Whatever the occasion, any reason is a good one to come to the Trolley with friends or family. Whether it's for a drink in the early evening or a round of shots at the end, just the two of you or a group of ten, there's something for everyone. And if you go alone, no problem, you might have the immense pleasure and honor of being in the company of a fantastic team, always smiling, pleasant, and professional. It's to this team, and especially to Fiona, Louann (and the dearly departed Mylène and Tom), that I dedicate this review. I hope to see you all again when I return to Strasbourg. Dedication also to my Trolley partners, Sami, Maël, Johnatan Nino as well as the whole Oenopo team (Tilio, Jeanne, Alix, Thomas) Hadrien Marius and all the people from Strasbourg.

13/07/2026: Overall, this was a great experience. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and patient while assisting us as English speakers. They do have an English menu which was very much appreciated! The food was wonderful, and while my chicken was slightly overcooked, the overall quality and flavors were excellent. The drinks were absolutely fabulous and added to the enjoyment of the meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others visiting the area.

28/07/2026: I discovered this little restaurant by chance with a friend about a year ago, and I've been back several times since. The atmosphere is very friendly, and you can tell there are quite a few regulars. The service is quick, and the portions are generous. You usually have the choice of eating inside or outside. As for the food, I regularly order meat with fries and sometimes a salad, and by the end, I'm full. I generally pay just over €20 (including a drink), which is very reasonable.

Our guests were blown away by the beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, the brazier was delicious (we received nothing but praise!), and the portions were incredibly generous. 18/07/2026: Fantastic welcome and excellent atmosphere! The staff are truly warm, attentive, and lovely. Special mention for their child-friendly approach: the restaurant is perfectly suited to families, with dishes that can be adapted to suit even the youngest tastes. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend and that we will definitely keep in mind for our next trip to Lyon!

29/06/2026: Arriving around 11 PM (closing at midnight), we were immediately told what to expect: they were serving the last drink, understandable, everyone has a life. However, the service left much to be desired, with a nonchalant and rather rude waiter who answered us without even looking at us, walking with us at his back…inexplicable since the place was practically empty at that hour. I think this was an isolated incident, judging by the comments, but they clearly need to make sure it doesn't happen again because it's very unpleasant.

18/07/2026: A local friend recommended this place to me, and it was a great experience. We had the €19 lunch menu with the special of the day (salmon in basil sauce), salads, and the praline tart. Incredible fresh food and good value. We left stuffed. It was a nice chance to try some Lyonnais dishes. The service was very good.
