20/02/2026: Excellent all-you-can-eat Lebanese buffet! The quality of the food is outstanding: fresh ingredients and a wide variety of choices. The decor is superb, with a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in, whether you're dining as a couple or with friends. Special mention goes to the staff, who are incredibly attentive, friendly, and truly caring without being intrusive. The kind of service we wish we saw more often. I highly recommend this place.

03/03/2026: This restaurant is a redemption for the town of Tarare. The tasting menu at €18.50 is simply incredible. Cuttlefish with vegetables, organic rump steak with endive and mustard cream, seed biscuit, poached pear, and Chantilly cream. Perfectly cooked, with spices expertly measured and blended. All these dishes are presented in appropriate containers. Organic wines are available by the glass. The establishment has plenty to offer: a cheese shop across the street, gourmet workshops, and a wine cellar. The chef is passionate and shares his knowledge. A truly wonderful place.

26/01/2026: The owners are very welcoming, the rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is generous, and the meals are prepared by a true professional. Plus, my dog ​​was welcomed with open arms. As for the view, it's magnificent. The countryside is peaceful and relaxing. You can go on beautiful hikes and see the lovely Château de Montmelas. I will definitely be back.

04/07/2025: Second time I've come, and second time it's the same... We waited 20 minutes for just an ice cream and a milkshake, having to ask the server again. The service is very, very slow! There's a real sense of a lack of organization and optimization in the service department. It's a shame because I would have really liked to try the food, but it makes you think. I hope it will be improved one day because it looks good!

10/03/2026: This is our second visit to this beautiful restaurant, because it takes two visits to truly know if you like a place, even if you were initially captivated. We had previously eaten at a restaurant recommended to us in the hills above the city. Yes, the view is beautiful, and yes, it has three floors with three different atmospheres, but the three of us—my husband, my son, and I—love refined, reimagined regional cuisine. Well, we didn't find that in the very expensive restaurant up there, no! We found it to be exactly what we were looking for: a place firmly rooted in its stone walls and vaulted ceilings, with antique paintings on the walls and stained-glass windows. And above all, it offers exceptional and excellent cuisine, prepared and served by people who know their craft and are proud of it! We'll go back every time we visit our son, and catching glimpses of the owner in the corridors of French theaters thanks to my job will be our "pilgrimage" 😅😅😅 And a good reason to stop by Lyon… 💗
