09/06/2026: The level has dropped considerably in recent times!

06/06/2026: I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. During my stay, a sum of money disappeared from my room without any sign of forced entry. It was as if the money had simply vanished into thin air, and what's most troubling is that there were no security cameras to shed light on the situation. I left the hotel around 8:30 p.m. and returned around midnight. During my absence, a valuable watch and an envelope of cash were stolen. Strangely, the watch was recovered, but there is still no trace of the money. This situation raises serious questions about the security and trustworthiness of this establishment. I expected quality service, especially in a hotel of this size. Guest safety should be a priority, and the lack of adequate security measures is unacceptable. I reported the incident to management, but I did not receive a satisfactory response. Therefore, I filed a complaint.

29/06/2026: We were in the streets of Le Lude looking for a restaurant when a kind gentleman (Jean) stopped his car on the sidewalk. He recommended Auberge des Isles and even called for us since it was almost 1 p.m. It's wonderful that there are still such thoughtful people around! 👍 The restaurant is lovely, with a terrace overlooking the river. The waitresses are energetic, friendly, and have a great sense of humor. The food is excellent (homemade). Very good value for money. Thank you again for this very pleasant experience.

18/10/2025: The staff were incredibly friendly 😍 A warm and welcoming place. Clean and tidy! You could practically eat off the floor 😱 A varied menu! The crepes were delicious! Generously filled and really tasty! I highly recommend it!

02/12/2025: A huge room with a very large bed, a beautiful bathroom (see photos), a nice TV, a fridge, and bathrobes. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday or weekend getaway.

02/11/2025: A comfortable and truly lovely room. The wellness area is well-designed, offering a very pleasant sense of privacy. We were very happy with our two 50-minute massages. The staff intervened only at the right moments, allowing us to remain completely relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast, with a wide selection of high-quality products. We plan to return this spring.

19/04/2026: Check-in was supposed to be until 8 pm on weekends. At 7 pm, everything closed, forcing me to call customer service... not ideal! Whereas Booking.com stated check-in was available until 11 pm. The hotel is very noisy! As is increasingly common, guests seem to be completely isolated, with no respect for others! The bathroom is very small and not very clean (yellow mold stains and general grime). The staff were friendly. Breakfast was so-so.

19/04/2026: Attentive staff available 24/7, 100% recommended!

28/06/2026: We had lunch as a family this Sunday. The service was quick, the portions were just right, and you could even order two different half-mussels for the price of one! The waitresses were very pleasant and smiling. We recommend it!

22/06/2026: Despite the fact that we ate well, there was a major problem... no air conditioning, just one fan for the entire dining room during a heatwave, resulting in sweaty mussels. Eating became an ordeal where all we wanted was to leave quickly. A big thank you to the kitchen lady who gave us a spray bottle. We also ordered a children's menu for €8.90 for a 2-year-old because there were no other options, and we didn't even get the goody bag. We'll definitely come back, but this winter... if they have heating.

27/05/2026: A delightful culinary surprise awaited us at this place, where the warm welcome from our young hostess made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to fully appreciate the excellent food and the lovely garden view, which was especially welcome on this hot day. Thank you for your hospitality! ☀️

30/04/2026: The portion size was too small, the wait too long, and the main course consisted of three asparagus spears and a piece of fish (with a €3 supplement). It didn't live up to my expectations. There was no information about the ingredients in the dishes, and the selection was limited. Fortunately, the place itself is pleasant.

10/04/2026: We had the pleasure of dining in a spacious and very pleasant room. The service was impeccable, the dishes varied and creative, and the chef extremely friendly. We highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: Surprisingly, my review left on Sunday, February 16, 2025, has disappeared? There was no welcome at this restaurant; we had to ring the bell to announce our arrival. The only thing to keep us warm was the fireplace. No tablecloths on the tables? There were few customers that Sunday, making it a bad experience for us. The servers were polite, but the undercooked squab, surrounded by fat instead of quail, left a bitter taste in my mouth.

27/05/2026: Passing through on our motorcycle, we stopped for lunch. We received a very warm welcome, the starter buffet was excellent, the main course was superb, and the waitress was extremely friendly. We will return as soon as possible; I highly recommend it.

18/05/2026: Unpleasant owner Getting a "hello" is extremely difficult! At 1:30 PM, there's nothing left to eat, according to a customer at the café. Not even a sandwich, or at least maybe not, because the owner doesn't speak. Anyway, if you hate working, change jobs!! Thank you for your reply; I wasn't expecting anything better. I'm talking about customer service, and you're talking about hygiene. Anyway, stay just the way you are, you're the best.

18/05/2026: The bowling alley is rather old and advertised as accessible for people with reduced mobility, which is not the case.

17/05/2026: We booked our bowling alley several days in advance for 17 people, with a one-hour drive to get there. Upon arrival, only 5 minutes late, we were calmly informed that our lanes had been re-let to someone else. No serious solution was offered, other than waiting two hours on site as if it were perfectly normal. This is completely unacceptable and deeply disrespectful to customers. When a reservation is made for such a large group, the least they can do is honor it, especially for a 5-minute delay. The organization was catastrophic, with no professionalism and zero consideration for people's time. It was an outrageous experience; we will never set foot in this place again. Following your response, I would like to point out that you are misrepresenting the times instead of taking responsibility for the situation or offering an apology. We were not “25 minutes late” as you claim. We arrived just 5 minutes late after a 1-hour drive, as a group of 17, and without any prior contact from you before immediately re-renting the slopes. For such a large group, booked several days in advance, a minimum of flexibility and professionalism would have been expected. Re-renting the slopes so quickly and then placing all the blame on the customers demonstrates a complete lack of consideration. The most shocking aspect is your response, where you prefer to alter the facts rather than acknowledge your own mismanagement. A very disappointing experience. The time of the message sent is proof of this.

02/08/2026: Refusal of coffee and dessert service at dessert time... Didn't understand... We're back on the road!

05/06/2026: Cakes just like our grandmother used to make, super delicious! A wide selection of pastries plus homemade dishes. The owners are very professional and the servers are very friendly.
