23/09/2026: The service was mediocre at best. We arrived in the mid-afternoon, and there were hardly any people on the terrace. The waiter haughtily asked us if we wanted to eat in or take away. I explained that we were choosing a pastry, and he replied, "You can think about it when you're seated. I'll be right back." What a lovely atmosphere! Especially since we waited almost fifteen minutes when we were the only other customers left to serve. What was he doing besides being unpleasant? Honestly, avoid this place at all costs.

23/09/2026: I love spending part of the afternoon on the terrace there; the homemade pastries are excellent, as is the atmosphere.

11/07/2026: This is my second visit to this charming French hotel. It combines the traditions of a typical hotel on the square with the magical association with Le Mans and motor racing. The food in the dining room is wonderful and the buffet breakfast great with freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, cheese and yoghurt. I recommend this as a place to stay!

16/10/2025: Traditional, refined, and elegant cuisine. A warm welcome and fairly quick service. Pleasant setting with a view of the cathedral. Located between the old town and the city center. One of the few restaurants in Le Mans open for Sunday lunch, which is a definite plus.

02/12/2025: A huge room with a very large bed, a beautiful bathroom (see photos), a nice TV, a fridge, and bathrobes. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday or weekend getaway.

02/11/2025: A comfortable and truly lovely room. The wellness area is well-designed, offering a very pleasant sense of privacy. We were very happy with our two 50-minute massages. The staff intervened only at the right moments, allowing us to remain completely relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast, with a wide selection of high-quality products. We plan to return this spring.

22/08/2026: I come here very often, the products are very good, however I'm disappointed to have made the trip today for nothing as they're closed for holidays, but this isn't indicated on Google...they should update their opening hours 😊

12/06/2026: Nice shop, nice saleswoman too. Just one big problem: I ordered a vegan vegetable pizza for lunch. When I arrived, the pizza was ready. Once home, I opened the box: very few vegetables, but loads of cheese?? I'm vegan, I ordered a vegan pizza, so I don't eat cheese... That's really outrageous. So I didn't get to eat the pizza 😩. Too bad, it looked good.

19/04/2026: Check-in was supposed to be until 8 pm on weekends. At 7 pm, everything closed, forcing me to call customer service... not ideal! Whereas Booking.com stated check-in was available until 11 pm. The hotel is very noisy! As is increasingly common, guests seem to be completely isolated, with no respect for others! The bathroom is very small and not very clean (yellow mold stains and general grime). The staff were friendly. Breakfast was so-so.

19/04/2026: Attentive staff available 24/7, 100% recommended!

27/05/2026: Passing through on our motorcycle, we stopped for lunch. We received a very warm welcome, the starter buffet was excellent, the main course was superb, and the waitress was extremely friendly. We will return as soon as possible; I highly recommend it.

18/05/2026: Unpleasant owner Getting a "hello" is extremely difficult! At 1:30 PM, there's nothing left to eat, according to a customer at the café. Not even a sandwich, or at least maybe not, because the owner doesn't speak. Anyway, if you hate working, change jobs!! Thank you for your reply; I wasn't expecting anything better. I'm talking about customer service, and you're talking about hygiene. Anyway, stay just the way you are, you're the best.

10/04/2026: We had the pleasure of dining in a spacious and very pleasant room. The service was impeccable, the dishes varied and creative, and the chef extremely friendly. We highly recommend it.

22/02/2026: Surprisingly, my review left on Sunday, February 16, 2025, has disappeared? There was no welcome at this restaurant; we had to ring the bell to announce our arrival. The only thing to keep us warm was the fireplace. No tablecloths on the tables? There were few customers that Sunday, making it a bad experience for us. The servers were polite, but the undercooked squab, surrounded by fat instead of quail, left a bitter taste in my mouth.

27/05/2026: A delightful culinary surprise awaited us at this place, where the warm welcome from our young hostess made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to fully appreciate the excellent food and the lovely garden view, which was especially welcome on this hot day. Thank you for your hospitality! ☀️

30/04/2026: The portion size was too small, the wait too long, and the main course consisted of three asparagus spears and a piece of fish (with a €3 supplement). It didn't live up to my expectations. There was no information about the ingredients in the dishes, and the selection was limited. Fortunately, the place itself is pleasant.

28/07/2026: Order placed Sunday evening (July 26th), the offer included 3 pizzas, 2 sides, and a drink. The pizzas were good, but the same cannot be said for the "Chikenito's." They were undercooked, the breading had a strange taste, and the chicken had an odd texture… in short, don't order these snacks if you want something good!

28/06/2026: We had lunch as a family this Sunday. The service was quick, the portions were just right, and you could even order two different half-mussels for the price of one! The waitresses were very pleasant and smiling. We recommend it!

22/06/2026: Despite the fact that we ate well, there was a major problem... no air conditioning, just one fan for the entire dining room during a heatwave, resulting in sweaty mussels. Eating became an ordeal where all we wanted was to leave quickly. A big thank you to the kitchen lady who gave us a spray bottle. We also ordered a children's menu for €8.90 for a 2-year-old because there were no other options, and we didn't even get the goody bag. We'll definitely come back, but this winter... if they have heating.

09/05/2026: Didn't understand my order, served me an extra panini, and I'd already paid. The paninis weren't real paninis, and the nuggets were oven-baked, grilled, and tasteless. It didn't look anything like the pictures on the menu. And frankly, it wasn't very good... Disappointed.
