08/02/2026: We came to eat this Sunday as a couple, were very well received, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and we have no complaints about the food. We ate very well and will definitely come back.

12/12/2025: Still as good as ever! Regarding the service, I don't share some of the opinions. Clearly, the owner is "unconventional," but that's part of the charm of this place. Everything is homemade. Lunch is €18 for a starter, main course, and dessert on weekdays. In the summer, the terrace overlooking the Loir River makes it the most beautiful spot to eat.

14/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner with my boyfriend. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's calm atmosphere. The two waitresses who served us that evening were particularly lovely and attentive (sorry, I don't have their names). The food was excellent, with many homemade dishes, which was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

One of the only restaurants in Le Mans open on Sunday lunchtimes. Which is a plus.

02/12/2025: A huge room with a very large bed, a beautiful bathroom (see photos), a nice TV, a fridge, and bathrobes. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday or weekend getaway.

The wellness area is well-designed, offering a very pleasant sense of privacy. We were very happy with our two 50-minute massages. The staff intervened only at the right moments, allowing us to remain completely relaxed.
We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast, with a wide selection of high-quality products.
We plan to return this spring.

09/11/2025: Bedding needs replacing; the mattress is sagging in the middle. The ventilation system sounds like a washing machine on spin cycle, making it impossible to sleep. One of the toilet seat hinges is broken: significant risk of falling when sitting down... No smoke detector in the bedroom???
22/10/2025: The place is splendid and the forest just magical. This little green setting is truly enjoyable. The room is nice and despite some issues the service was great and we were able to change rooms which greatly made the difference in my ratings today. Their thoughtfulness and kindness were truly top notch.

I wasn't a fan of the salmon with lukewarm sauce (that's just my opinion), but the rest of the dishes were perfect.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
