08/08/2024: La Luge restaurant was a huge disappointment. Although some dishes were tasty, the prices are absolutely unjustified. Drinks are outrageously expensive: €22 for an Aperol Spritz, €12 for a small beer, and €8 for cola – this is simply absurd. The staff was inattentive and showed no special attention to customers. It feels like the customers are just being ripped off here, rather than being provided with a pleasant experience.

07/08/2024: I visit La Luge restaurant and, frankly, I was very disappointed. The first thing that struck me was the extremely slow service. The waiters were inattentive, and each dish took too long to arrive. The menu was very limited, and no vegetarian options were offered. The atmosphere was also disappointing: the interior looked outdated and uninviting. Additionally, the restaurant was overcrowded, and the noise level was so high that it was impossible to have a normal conversation.

25/03/2024: Quelle bonne surprise ! Vendredi après-midi , alors que beaucoup de restaurants étaient déjà complets, nous avons pu réserver. Si la salle du haut n’est pas très engageante, nous avons découvert une très belle salle en bas (demander celle du fond), avec de l’espace. Super! Ensuite, service super agréable et attentionné par Celia (bravo). Pas de stress, nous avons le temps de déguster notre bonne fondue aux cèpes. Oui, c’est une pizzeria, mais la carte est large! Puis choix de la coupe Montagne aux myrtilles arrosées (alcool blanc très - trop? - fort qui a tendance à masquer le goût, c’est un peu dommage). Voilà. Belle découverte, même si ce n’est pas de la haute gastronomie, à un prix correct pour Méribel.

27/03/2024: Onvriendelijk, ongeïnteresseerd en alles met tegenzin. Met andere woorden wegblijven. Het is teveel om een tafel te ruimen en nog maar hun klanten te woord te staan.

28/09/2025: An adequate but mixed stay. The hotel presents itself as a modern and well-kept chalet, but beneath its surface appearance, the amenities remain fairly basic for the price point. The room we had was clean but small, with limited comfort. The bedding was adequate but not remarkable, the bathroom functional but simple, and there were no notable details to justify the advertised category. The soundproofing is average, and the overall impression is more of a "standard" room than an alpine cocoon. Service-wise, the welcome is polite but not particularly warm. You're given the keys, questions are answered, but without any particular effort to create an atmosphere or a real customer connection. It's a far cry from the family chalet feel found elsewhere in the mountains. Breakfast is available, but remains very standard: standard products, few quality choices, and nothing to make you want to stay longer. It's more of a must-do than a real experience. In the end, we've decided on a practical and clean hotel, but one that thrives primarily on its image and location. The price/quality ratio is questionable, as the services don't match the rates charged. It's fine for a stopover.

10/03/2024: Excellent restaurant familial et sympathique. Un excellent service, La meilleure pizza des 3 vallées. Une carte très complète des spécialités locales à la pizza , idéal en famille La patronne Aurelie tient son établissement d’une main de maître, hyper professionnelle !!

27/01/2024: Excellent food, cosy atmosphere , delightful staff. We had salads to start, fresh and delicious. Ravioli was light and fresh. Reblechon was enormous and delicious and took some help to finish! Deserts all generous proportions.

27/08/2024: Après une bonne balade pour grimper jusqu'au resto, un grand plaisir de trouver un endroit calme doté d un cadre magnifique. Des mets gourmets de qualité très savoureux. Un service efficace sans attente particulière malgré le monde. Encore merci pour ce bon moment.

19/03/2024: En demi-pension, nous avons dégusté une cuisine savoureuse et variée… Déception en revanche sur les cocktails qui comportent plus de glace que d’alcool …. Sans doute pour des raisons économiques

25/02/2024: Nous avons passé une excellente soirée dans cet établissement. Néanmoins, il est regrettable que nous ayons attendu très longtemps pour nos cocktails dans la salle du bar, nous avons du les terminer à table. Une mention spéciale à Ishad dont le professionnalisme,le sens du service, la gentillesse nous a fait oublier ce faux pas. Des qualités rares et pourtant attendues dans ce type d'établissement. En conclusion une bonne expérience couronnant très agréablement notre séjour familial. Sans hésiation nous recommandons et nous reviendrons en espérant vivement avoir le plaisir d'être reçu par Ishad.

27/12/2023: Je recommande ce restaurant. Très bonne raclette, service rapide et agréable, et ambiance hyper cocooning avec les coussins et petit tapis d’hiver. J’adore! (La seule petite chose dommage est qu’il n’y a que deux spécialités savoyardes : fondue et raclette)

03/09/2023: Un excellent rapport qualité - prix, une cuisine unique et toujours délicieuse ! Service au top avec le sourire et le soleil au pied des pistes de ski et du TS Vallandry ☀️ J’y vais plusieurs fois par mois ! Je recommande les yeux fermés ! Plats & tapas savoyards, salades, viande/ poisson, avec un petit plus en plus exotique pour certains plats 🤗

09/11/2025: We stayed at this hotel in April 2025 and were very disappointed by the overall quality, which fell far short of what the photos on the Booking website suggested. The published images do not reflect reality at all: the bedding, bathrooms, and amenities are outdated and far from the advertised standard. The beds are very small, the bathrooms clearly date from another era, and the overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired. We even had to ask to change rooms because the first one was simply uninhabitable. The reception, however, was friendly and professional—one of the few positive aspects of our experience. Regarding the location, access to the city center is relatively easy, but it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the main squares. Parking is very limited (a maximum of 4 to 5 spaces), which quickly becomes a problem as soon as you want to leave with your car. Another point to note: there's no elevator, and the keys are old and flimsy, raising concerns about security, both for personal belongings and for other guests. For a night costing just over €100 for two people, we would clearly have preferred to pay a bit more for a minimum of comfort and peace and quiet. We don't recommend this hotel if you're looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay—we couldn't wait to leave and continue our trip elsewhere.

17/08/2024: Le service et la qualité des repas restent excellents quelque soit la saison (été comme hiver). On y retourne et on recommande vivement.

03/08/2024: Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois pendant notre séjour, pour manger le midi ou boire un verre, l'accueil est très sympathique, les repas sont bons et copieux, les prix très raisonnables.
