23/11/2024: Excellent moment passé à L'HIRONDELLE de Fontainebleau où nous nous sommes régalés ma fille et moi pour mon anniversaire... Accueil chaleureux, personnel affable et prévenant, tout particulièrement Laurence dont l'accueil et l'efficacité est remarquable... Délicieux repas qui nous a fait voyager en Bretagne. Un grand Bravo, et merci à l'équipe de la créperie familiale L'HIRONDELLE.

01/08/2024: Une belle adresse, on y mange bien et le service y est sympa. Que ce soit sur la présentation, les produits utilisés ou même la présentation dans l’assiette il n’y a rien à redire. Pour aller plus loin encore et mieux accompagner cette belle carte, une sélection de vins plus fournie et moins classique serait une piste.

26/08/2024: Recommended by the restaurant Le Mansart closed this Monday evening, reservation via The Fork for this brasserie facing the town hall of Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome and brasserie dish on the menu. The herring and potato starter was perfect and then foie de vaux impeccably cooked. I recommend this brewery. AMEX card accepted.

12/09/2024: Leaving aside the considerations on how the place looks internally (the floor with a sticky effect and a toilet smell that lingers in the air...), I move on to the food. Coming from an Italian who should know something about cooking and who has been to France several times and has only eaten French food, I would say that we are not quite there. If there had been a Cannavacciuolo, he would have run into the kitchen and lifted the chef. The magret de canard ordered arrives cut like a slice of cake, with a cooking that is not a rosé as ordered but almost raw, placed on top of a multitude of vegetables placed on the plate in a messy manner and of questionable cooking (boiled? roasted? dunno... ). The big mistake is the red fruits that accompany it: it's an exaggeration of vinaigrette, vinegar that floats at the bottom of the dish and ruins everything, covering the flavor of both the meat and the vegetables and making it nauseating. Please bring the vinaigrette separately so the customer can decide whether to put it and how much to put. No gentlemen, we're not there! I do not want and cannot go to a restaurant, spend more than €30 per person and have similar food, nor do I have to send the dish back to the kitchen if it is not to my liking because the commitment on the part of those who boast the name of chefs is almost non-existent. This is a dish made by someone who doesn't know how to cook, by someone who improvised as a cook that evening, not by a chef. I'm sorry but you have to renew yourself on quite a few fronts.

31/08/2024: Home cooking, as we no longer find it, in northern Seine-et-Marne there is no longer a restaurant like it. A perfect chili, a top duck breast and a children's burger worthy of the name.burger I recommend

This mountain restaurant delights with the exceptional quality of its dishes and the authenticity of its fondues, which are to die for. The setting is exotic, and the service impeccable: professional, warm, and attentive. A rare find, a place to return with pleasure.

31/08/2024: Entrecôte ok, salmon carpaccio too, on the other hand the Caesar salad is a real scandal for 19 euros: a lot of salad, little chicken, croutons not good.

28/10/2024: Notre pire expérience : 45 minutes d’attente pour deux steak frites et un hot dog à un prix déraisonnable. Un « service » lamentable - personne ne nous indique le temps d’attente (des familles avec enfants sont au bout de leur vie…), la personne qui fait les frites fume et tousse… Difficile de comprendre comment ce lieu est encore ouvert.

12/12/2025: A true delight from start to finish! Frédéric Cassel restaurant offers refined cuisine, bursting with flavor and perfectly executed. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious, and the service is warm and professional. You can taste the genuine passion in every plate. Special mention goes to the desserts, absolutely sublime and a signature of the house. An address to recommend without hesitation.
