25/10/2024: I see open until 7 p.m. on Google. I finish my work. I decide to go eat at 2:15 p.m. I am told that the dishes are cold. I will go eat a pizza in the vending machine. Afterwards, we are surprised that there is a lack of customers in the brasseries.

08/06/2024: It is rare to find a very good hotel like this with a very good restaurant offering dishes cooked with so much passion (made by 2 very good cooks). Very well maintained rooms with all the comfort expected. Very bright, clean, pleasant, good bedding and all the amenities. The service is PERFECT!!! Pleasant staff who listen to you. Present but discreet. Helpful (we asked at the last minute for an improved aperitif for more than twenty people just before dinner, result: small verrines and toasts accompanied by a kir de Gaillac. IPPECABLE!!). You would have to be very picky to find fault. I want to remain neutral and look for the small detail: The elevator would have been a little bigger for more people and luggage (but there is a nice big staircase), one per shower a little wider so as not to wet the carpet, a larger bathtub for people over 1m70 (or a walk-in shower would have been more practical).....but these are just details. A very good 2-day stay with a very good table and large, hearty and well-stocked breakfast, impeccable service with quality staff, ... keep it up!!! It's everything we love and ask for. Best wishes. 19/08/2024: Well located in the city center, pleasant terrace. Efficient and polite service. I chose a pretty good plate of tapas: octopus and new potatoes; my companion had fries, excellent. We returned there another evening. I hesitated between the vegetarian plate and a dish with fish and vegetables. I chose the dish by asking the waitress in advance about the quantity since I have little appetite. The plate was huge, I inevitably left half of it; the sea bream was good, the vegetables not varied enough (carrots and eggplant) extremely salty and peppery and too oily. Industrial ice creams with basic flavors.

06/08/2024: Passing through Gaillac for the wine festival, I wanted to have a coffee at 7 p.m. it was not possible so I had a half and the bartender apologized with a smile to make me change my mind but To my surprise it was a very good choice! I recommend 👍

29/09/2024: Today Sunday, we went to the garage sale in Lavaur 81, it was impossible to eat in town, all the restaurants were closed, shame! We went to Giroussens, bar le girou, and without having reserved we were able to eat, simple but hearty meal, affordable price, what more could you ask for?

24/08/2024: All-you-can-eat mussels and fries evening. Nice atmosphere with large outdoor terrace. A little disappointed by the mussel recipes which contain too many carrots (marinière / roquefort). Why so many carrots? But what makes me give 2 stars is the time of payment when I am refused to pay for the entire meal in ANCV holiday vouchers. I had to insist on being able to spend 4 (€40) on a meal for 4 people with aperitifs, main courses, desserts. ANCV checks are not capped and it is not honest to show that we accept them and then only partially accept them when adding them under the pretext that “it costs too much tax to accept them”. Being referenced ANCV gives you visibility and you are not playing the game. Nothing obliges you to remain referenced ANCV.
