18/08/2026: We entered guided by the girl from the tourist office, by chance, it was already late, but the hostess served us very well and gave us food. It was a pleasant experience, for the food and for the attention received. 100% recommended.

23/07/2026: We stayed here for one night with our 3 children (aged 4 to 11) during a heatwave. Upon checking in late at 22:30, the room was boiling hot. The staff admitted that they forgot to turn on the AC in advance because they 'missed our booking in the right computer', even though we booked 2 weeks prior. The front desk promised the room would cool down in 1-2 hours, but the AC barely blew any air. I ended up sleeping only 3 hours after placing a wet towel on my back to survive the heat. When Hotels.com tried to call the hotel the next morning to resolve the issue, the hotel staff hung up on them 3 times in a row. They offered a 15 € breakfast discount for the kids on checkout, but that does not compensate for a completely sleepless night for a family of five. Avoid this hotel if you travel with children during summer.

19/05/2026: Speaking of the Brasserie alone: ​​very good, home-style cooking, a welcome change from the pretentiousness of many other restaurants in Albi. Whelks and prawns with aioli for starters, followed by a delicious veal sauté with olives, and a fruit mousse to finish. All for just over €20. A glass of good Gaillac wine, €4.50.

24/08/2026: Excellent cuisine, fresh produce from the garden, congratulations to the truly top-notch kitchen... the aperitif was very reasonably priced. Everything is delicious, the service is cheerful and friendly. Very pleasant, a family atmosphere. A warm and welcoming atmosphere... it's so refreshing. Rare and exceptional moments filled with passion and a desire to share. A huge thank you to Joëlle and her brother, and a well-deserved happy retirement.

25/08/2026: Excellent cuisine; extensive menu and choices; very generous portions and meals, reasonable prices (set menu €26). Service was a little slow due to the Sunday crowds and the recent merger with the restaurant next door, but attentive and friendly, with shade throughout the lunchtime service.

23/08/2026: Very very good, choose from the menus, we had an excellent cassoulet from the menu, but the set menus look so good and hearty.

20/06/2026: I discovered this restaurant, voted best brasserie bistro of 2026, so I went there out of curiosity. Located in Gaillac, not far from Toulouse, I had a wonderful time. I ordered an entrecôte, a very nice cut of meat, and everything was truly delicious. There's also a great selection of beers and wines, which is a real plus. The video projector and two televisions were showing the World Cup matches, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The beautiful setting, with its view of the square, really adds to the charm of the place. A very enjoyable experience at a highly recommended spot.

05/07/2026: The view from the terrace was exceptional, but the rest of the hotel was completely unsuitable for this type of establishment. Very expensive considering the quantity and quality of the food. It tries to pass itself off as fine dining, but the dishes are anything but elaborate. Bland... I won't be returning.

03/07/2026: Our American friend will cherish the memory of this meal enjoyed on the terrace with its breathtaking view of the episcopal city. The carefully chosen dishes, prepared with care, delighted our palates. The waitress's smile was the icing on the cake. We will gladly return.

10/08/2026: Lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. We ordered a rare burger, and it arrived well-done… We ordered a dish without salad, the server noted it, and we received the dish with salad… An enormous quantity of frozen fries = waste, not great… Nothing dramatic, but completely unprofessional. Another very important point that sets the tone for a restaurant is the restrooms. We had just arrived at this establishment and went to the restrooms, which were truly filthy, with a disgusting smell, and to top it all off, no soap available… We were extremely disappointed to have eaten at this place.

02/09/2026: On the evening of September 2nd, a friend and I arrived at 7:10 PM and didn't leave until 8:40 PM! Let me explain. The initial welcome was nonchalant, no smiles, and a tired demeanor—they must have been sleeping in. We were asked to choose our own table because there were only four people there, which was fine, no complaints there. Once seated, everything was fine; the waitress was attentive and took our first order of drinks. That's when things started to go wrong! After finishing our drinks in 10 minutes, we waited over 10 minutes for our main course. I remind you that there were only 6 or 7 of us in the restaurant; I don't think you were that busy. The dish was very good, highly rated, 5 stars, no complaints, it's always a treat, but for goodness sake, put some smiles on your staff! Being served by someone with a sour face doesn't exactly make you want to be served! After finishing our meal, we asked for a second portion of fries (free of charge). After a 15-minute wait, we'd had enough, so we grabbed our things and left to pay. They don't even smile when it comes to paying or receiving money! We won't be back. We'll go to the one in Albi where the welcome and service are warm and friendly!

02/09/2026: Disappointed… It's not our first time here, but this time it was just so-so… The fries were soggy, the salad was wilted, and don't even get me started on the profiteroles… completely frozen and tasteless.
