23/07/2026: We stayed here for one night with our 3 children (aged 4 to 11) during a heatwave. Upon checking in late at 22:30, the room was boiling hot. The staff admitted that they forgot to turn on the AC in advance because they 'missed our booking in the right computer', even though we booked 2 weeks prior. The front desk promised the room would cool down in 1-2 hours, but the AC barely blew any air. I ended up sleeping only 3 hours after placing a wet towel on my back to survive the heat. When Hotels.com tried to call the hotel the next morning to resolve the issue, the hotel staff hung up on them 3 times in a row. They offered a 15 € breakfast discount for the kids on checkout, but that does not compensate for a completely sleepless night for a family of five. Avoid this hotel if you travel with children during summer.

19/05/2026: Speaking of the Brasserie alone: ​​very good, home-style cooking, a welcome change from the pretentiousness of many other restaurants in Albi. Whelks and prawns with aioli for starters, followed by a delicious veal sauté with olives, and a fruit mousse to finish. All for just over €20. A glass of good Gaillac wine, €4.50.

11/05/2026: A quiet hotel opposite the railway station. Comfortable and with decent catering. Above all the kindest and most helpful staff. Thank you all so much.

08/07/2026: If you like having drinks with cold food, it's perfect!!! They brought us our meal, I asked where our ordered drinks were, and the waiter brought our cocktails right after. He put his food warmer under the meat, so we drank our drinks quickly and ate cold food. Extremely disappointed!!!

24/07/2026: The service was appalling and the pizzas were disgusting, not to mention the terrace covered in bird droppings that no one bothered to clean. The incompetent cook and the nonchalant waiter should find another line of work. Going to a restaurant is supposed to be enjoyable, and here, both the service and the food were so poor, it's best to avoid this place.

30/06/2026: Attentive and friendly staff But it's not great Avoid the starter and main course The starter wasn't fresh. The tomato was overcooked, not presentable, and tasteless. It doesn't inspire confidence for the rest of the menu. The lasagna was okay, but reheated. 😒 What a shame. Didn't try the pizzas.

14/07/2026: The owner was incredibly kind: my friend caught a stomach bug during the day, and the owner welcomed us warmly and helped us for a while. Thanks to her, my friend was perfectly fine by the afternoon. Thank you so much!

04/07/2026: We didn't understand the owner. We'd barely stepped inside. We had our dogs with us after our lovely walk along the canal. We were immediately accosted by the owner with a very curt, "I don't allow dogs." Which we completely understand. It's a food store (or at least I think so, since we didn't see any in the end). But why bark at us like that? I immediately left with the dogs, but after my wife called out to us, the owner doubled down with, "I don't allow dogs. Get out!" It's a shame, not a greeting, not a smile. I understand that dogs aren't allowed, but a little politeness in saying so wouldn't hurt. This review in no way judges the quality of the store, which we didn't have the opportunity to visit.

10/03/2026: Honestly, for the price, it's a very generous portion. The only slight downside is the somewhat long wait, but that's understandable given the staff shortage.

14/07/2026: Whenever we are in the area, we always stop at Café de Sports for something to eat and/or drink. Good quality, fair prices, delicious Café Gourmand. Friendly staff.

27/06/2026: Message to the manager: The staff is top-notch in terms of service, welcome, and the quality of the orders prepared! Today I went to pick up an order as usual, and I noticed that the staff were completely drenched in sweat (they were suffocating!!). It was 37°C outside, and they were standing in front of the machines: kebab spit, fryer, griddle, toasters, etc. It's shameful to let your employees work in these conditions! They're working in an environment that's close to 50°C; it's unacceptable! The air conditioning isn't working! DO SOME THINGS QUICKLY so your employees can work in better conditions!! They're kind enough not to abandon you! Because they have the right to refuse to work in such a hellish environment! I really feel for them…

27/06/2026: The welcome was fantastic, even the staff! I tried a double smash and I can honestly say it's the best smash I've ever had. We'll definitely be back! I highly recommend it, go ahead and try it! Thank you

15/07/2026: The welcome was terrible: "We're full"... "And what about that empty table over there?"... "Oh no, that's just in case we get eight people." Except that two hours later, there was still no one at that table... In short, we accepted a less-than-ideal spot, since there weren't any other restaurants open that day. We were served bread that was clearly frozen and reheated. When I pointed this out, the owner got all defensive. "Oh no, no frozen bread here!"... Except the waitress changed the bread basket, and then, miraculously, the bread was fresh. The Caesar salad was awful, with some kind of (frozen) chicken nuggets... In short, a restaurant to avoid!

13/07/2026: Excellent time! The waitresses were very pleasant and efficient! The portions were very generous for a more than reasonable price! Thank you for this delightful experience.

18/06/2026: First and last experience. Slow service with few customers. I ordered a plate of cuttlefish (see plate) swimming in oil. We had time to examine the interior, and frankly, there was dust and cobwebs on the baseboards and banquettes, plus numerous marks on the toilet door, which was left open the entire time (which I find really unacceptable). I think there's a lot of room for improvement. And to top it all off, a restaurant that doesn't accept restaurant vouchers?! 🙄😬

04/07/2026: I ate a burger at this place and got sick right after. The hygiene is awful. I don't recommend it. The owner is very unpleasant.

We dined at Le Parvis in Albi this evening and had a truly excellent meal, contrary to the various negative reviews on this post. We will definitely return if we ever come back to this lovely city.
