The place is quite cute but we get accosted in the street by the waiter
the service is deplorable. we kept our plates empty for 45 minutes while the waitresses and the waiter walked past us EMPTY HANDS
1 hour later the dish arrives: duck aiguillettes and porcini mushroom sauce: very little taste of porcini mushrooms!!!!
I ask the waiter for a knife and he brings it to the next table, the table on the other side asks for salt and pepper and the waiter places it on our table…..
result 2h30 watch in hand for a fairly average meal
We took a bottle of rosé from Provence for €22 -> very bad
I advise against
When leaving, the manager sent us a little sorry!!!!!

07/01/2025: Very disappointed with this experience, the proportions are correct but the taste is not really there. We are not even asked to cook meat.
(Half-burnt meat on some pieces)
The manager (I suppose) is very nonchalant, almost throwing dishes on the table despite the lack of any particular rush, however, the waitress was very nice.
The atmosphere is cute but nothing more.

08/07/2025: This only applies to the bistro, not the restaurant. The cafe has very dirty restrooms, smells of urine, a dirty sink, and most importantly, I had a drink in a glass with food scraps stuck to it. It wasn't limescale. A tourist spot like Cordes-sur-Ciel deserves a bistro that lives up to this place's reputation.
08/07/2025: Only concerns the bistro, not the restaurant.
The cleanliness of the glasses leaves something to be desired.
As for the toilet area, I don't think it's cleaned often.
Black deposit all around and at the bottom of the bowl.
Sink is the same.
Too bad the hygiene service doesn't come.
Smells of urine.
Move on by.

Views of the castle, the cathedral, the route runs along the Tarn for a while
Superb trees, a scent of Tuscany sometimes, a very friendly welcome and the perfectly maintained grounds!

29/08/2024: Reservado basado en comentarios. A mitad de semana Albi era tranquilo y el restaurante era tranquilo, lo que me molestó. La decoración es sencilla. Teníamos una mesa afuera. ¡Pero mis preocupaciones eran infundadas!
Los propietarios eran agradables. La comida excelente. Tuvimos una noche encantadora. Volveremos.

08/09/2024: Ispiens was our safe bet. Notable changes in terms of quantity but above all quality and price. It's no longer home fries among other examples. Damage ! Not sure we will come back

15/12/2024: The food was awful it had absolutely no flavour (not even salt & pepper) and just tasted like paper. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with working tastebuds. Definitely not worth the price

17/01/2025: Every time I travel I come here to eat, close to my hotel, and the food is very good and the staff friendly.
10/01/2025: Very good restaurant. The menu is very varied (salads, pizzas, meats, etc.) and the daily menus are of excellent quality.
The staff is very pleasant and always has a kind word for the regulars.
Excellent value for money.

14/09/2024: Le service est lamentable.
Après avoir commandé une crêpe et un smoothie, j’ai attendu désespérément pendant 40 min et finalement je suis partie sans consommer.
Ce qui était bizarre , c’est qu’il y avait beaucoup de serveurs pour un service très médiocre.
La glace de la table à côté ressemblait plutôt au lait et ça se voyait qu’elle était restée longtemps sur le comptoir avant d’être servie.
