05/07/2026: The order took a while, the waitress kept her eyes on the table, the table wasn't very clean, and there was absolutely no preparation (glasses, cutlery, napkins, salt, pepper...). ⭐⭐ The steak, fries, salad, and paella were simple, effective, and good. ⭐⭐⭐ The musical atmosphere was great, and the evening was organized. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The restaurant has great potential, but it's not being realized. A shame. The owner was very friendly. 👍

29/06/2026: The lakeside brasserie is well located, right on the lake with a terrace and a direct view. My last visit was in early June. I didn't have a chance to eat there, but each time I've stopped by for a coffee after opening time, I was surprised by the rather cold welcome. The floor was dirty, and one of the employees was sweeping, suggesting that the place isn't cleaned after service. So, if you arrive in the morning, it's not ideal; it's also when they're setting the tables for lunch service, and you can't choose your table! Two employees took my order, one after the other. It seemed like the information wasn't being shared between them, but I was served with a smile. I couldn't find the price list, and I paid €2 for the coffee! Free parking is available, limited to vehicles under 2.10 meters, and all the leisure activities are right next door!

25/07/2026: The abundance of green salad perfectly masks the poverty of the other ingredients in the Niçoise salad.

18/07/2026: Very bad food, kind waitress but forgot us. Had to get our own cutlery. Meat was tough, tasteless and cold. Salad was a green leaf with a lot of sauce, we found plastic and green paint in our food. The coca cola was nice though.

17/07/2026: Lunch on the terrace with a beautiful view. The ochre and seafood salad was a lovely discovery, and the apricot tart was delicious ☺️. Friendly staff. A very good place to eat.

10/07/2026: An excellent restaurant on Place de l'Horloge! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The dishes were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. A huge thank you to the owner and the entire team, who are incredibly kind. Special mention for their kind gesture: I accidentally spilled my Coke and they spontaneously brought me a new one, free of charge. This kind of thoughtfulness makes all the difference! Warm and efficient service, attentive waiters, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely return on our next trip to Avignon. I highly recommend this restaurant!

08/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome from Barbara, a bubbly and humorous lady. The waiter was attentive and responsive. We enjoyed our meal. We just missed the manager... her smile 🙄 Apart from that, a beautiful location and good food 🤘

20/07/2026: Restaurant... if you can even call it a restaurant 🙄 Avoid at all costs... the wait was incredibly long even though the terrace wasn't full. The mussels were way overcooked, and the fries were really bad!! And don't even get me started on the state of the toilets 🤢

20/07/2026: Absolutely terrible. Disgusting mussels and fries. What's more, the waiter tried to scam me out of €10 in cash without writing it on the bill—a disgrace! Avoid at all costs.

21/07/2026: Disgusting ice cream, it doesn't taste like it was advertised, I definitely don't recommend it! Money down the drain. What a shame, cheaper elsewhere for better taste.

For 40 years, we've been coming to your establishment every year for the festival, and this year, when I ordered for myself and my daughter had an Italian ice cream, she was refused a glass of water! What a shame... such a lack of courtesy! What an image! Refusing a customer a glass of water!

12/07/2026: If you're expecting friendliness, forget it. This place has no customer service skills, and the prices are far too high for what you get: a €20 burger the size of a McDonald's Happy Meal, plus fries. If you just want a tapas-style dish like "Joël's Frites," the owner clearly told us it's a main course! We asked for a €10 portion of fries with a Caesar salad (€19.90), and they told us it wasn't possible. In short... I strongly advise against going there. 😤😡

09/07/2026: The food was ok, not good enough to put up with the husband's attitude and overall grumpy personality. The wife was a ray of sunshine. If he stayed in the kitchen and left her as the server they would have much higher ratings.

25/07/2026: The welcome was friendly, but that's where the positives end. The food was disastrously good. The mussels marinière had no trace of wine in the sauce and no flavor whatsoever. The entrecôte was barely ribeye. A disappointing experience. Avoid at all costs.

25/07/2026: The "sink" of a breaststroke, the cooks are smoking on the terrace—hygiene?! The mussels won't open and are as closed as the suggested solutions! A little boxed Côtes du Rhône to wash it all down and that's that. A place to absolutely avoid!!!

16/07/2026: The drinks were fresh and good, however very expensive and the waitress wasn't very friendly, pushing for more (only offering the most expensive options).

14/07/2026: Keep walking, folks! What a shame… This terrace is ideally located, but the experience unfortunately doesn’t live up to its location.

09/05/2026: I've rarely seen such a low level of incompetence. Upon arrival, there was no greeting. Given the frosty reception, we ordered four paninis and two bags of chips, already regretting stopping there. €30 later, four cold paninis, the cheese not even melted, we couldn't eat them. Catastrophic. I doubt my review will do any good considering the number of negative reviews before.

07/05/2026: Terrible service, nothing left to eat by 1 p.m., and the only thing offered was a cold, tasteless panini. In short, good at nothing, terrible at everything.
