03/08/2026: The restaurant is in a lovely place with am amazing view. The food took nearly an hour to arrive with quite a few empty tables, which felt both surprising and disappointing. It is high season in the area and it seems that they could find a way to attend to customers more quickly. And even worse for the couple sitting next to us who were seated immediately before us and waited 20 minutes longer for their pizza to arrive (at a pizza restaurant!)

12/07/2026: The staff are friendly and smiling, which is much appreciated. You have the choice between air conditioning inside or a shaded terrace. The products are fresh and delicious. There is parking available. I recommend it.

26/06/2026: First visit since the change of ownership. A "hello" wasn't exactly customary at Françoise's, as everyone knew. It's a shame the two new young owners haven't brought this magic word back into fashion. Even when you arrive with your hands full. Is this a cursed place for saying hello with a smile? Otherwise, two of the three waitresses are smiling and friendly. Given the choice between two places serving coffee for €1.50, which do you think you'd go to? With or without a smile?

20/04/2026: By far my favorite café in Avignon! A very warm atmosphere, ideal for getting some work done, with delicious pastries of course ;) Update 4 years later: A landmark is closing… we'll miss you.

26/06/2026: I was with a tour group. Rooms are small by USA standards but they are immaculate,everything works.Air conditioning was adequate and it was 95 degrees outside.

15/06/2026: Great hotel in a converted convent, in old town and a short stroll from the Palace of Popes. The pool needs attention, but it's pretty remarkable to have one at all in a property like this, especially with how hot Avignon can get in summer. Dinner at the restaurant was better than passable, and fresh orange juice for breakfast. Ask for a room in the historic rather than the new building.

27/05/2026: I had a wonderful afternoon at the hotel for my birthday present. The welcome was very professional. I started with lunch at the poolside restaurant. The manager and his staff were very friendly and attentive. The main course was delicious and flavorful, but the dessert, the Royal Chocolate with its crunchy layer of dark chocolate and praline, was absolutely divine! I had the opportunity to chat with the pastry chef, who is clearly passionate about her work. She creates perfectly balanced desserts, just the way I like them. Afterwards, I enjoyed some relaxation at the spa with an effective scrub and a soothing massage, both performed with care and high quality. Thank you for the warm welcome; I will definitely be back!

25/05/2026: Exceptional hotel and spa, great service and location near Gordes

02/06/2026: I called late to find out if they had a family room available for the night because we were desperately trying to find accommodation in Carpentras with two young children. After insisting, the receptionist twice used an extremely vulgar insult towards me before hanging up. I called back a few weeks later to report the incident to the manager (the hotel had been closed for the annual holidays), and I spoke to another receptionist who told me that I should not have called so late and did not apologize for the insults. Unbelievable.

11/03/2026: We happened to be passing by for a drink. Nice place, friendly staff, good food at average prices.

13/05/2026: We had a very good filled baguette and two cookies there. Very tasty and fresh!

13/05/2026: Meal between two visits. 10-minute wait. Two ham and Emmental cheese sandwiches (very crispy bread and fillings provided) + one very good custard tart with shortcrust pastry and one red fruit crumble. We ate very well. I recommend it.

19/06/2026: I really don't understand why there are so many negative reviews! Personally, I've been there several times and each time they served me quickly in a friendly atmosphere with a big smile. As for the food, I have nothing to complain about; good flavors, impeccable hygiene, generously filled plates and sandwiches, and above all, a very diverse menu. This restaurant truly lives up to its name!

31/05/2026: Very disappointing, not because of the meal itself, but because of the service during it. There were nine of us, including an autistic child whom we informed them of upon arrival, as well as a seven-month-old baby. After an extremely long wait, we asked for our dessert order at 2:20 pm, and were met with a dismissive response (Why, do you have a train to catch?). This is unacceptable behavior from a restaurant owner. We left the table, and the table of four behind us did the same.

16/04/2026: I'm quite disappointed with this bakery. The products are relatively expensive for what I find a disappointing quality, and some don't really match the descriptions displayed in the window. The saleswomen are friendly, which is nice, but they chat amongst themselves a lot about personal matters, which can give an impression of a lack of professionalism. Finally, some of the products didn't seem very fresh when I visited. Overall, an experience below my expectations.

08/04/2026: I just left the bakery; there was a wide variety of choices and the service was perfect. Thank you to the young woman for her kindness and customer service.

20/02/2026: I went to recharge my batteries in this idyllic, exceptionally clean place; the tranquility is magnificent. I highly recommend it because the food is excellent, everything is homemade, which I truly appreciated. I will definitely return regularly.

01/02/2026: On January 18, 2026, after several email exchanges and a phone call where the person confirmed that a one-night stay in June, booked through Wonderbox, was confirmed, I received an email today informing me that it was no longer possible because they had changed their booking policy. I therefore called to express my dissatisfaction and lack of professionalism, and that I would be leaving a negative review. The person I spoke to replied, "I don't give a damn about you," and hung up on me. Some people should find another line of work if the reception on-site is as unfriendly as it is on the phone. I don't regret canceling the stay.
