07/05/2026: We ordered the set menu, and it was very good, both the quantity and quality were excellent. There were five of us, and we will definitely return. My daughter had the children's menu, which was also great. I didn't try the hotel.

21/05/2026: Hotel in the city center, cozy room on the 2nd floor, very clean, lovely blue decor, and a bathroom with soft blue lighting in the shower.
Comfortable bedding.
Extremely pleasant welcome, with smiles from reception to the restaurant staff at breakfast...it was very enjoyable.
Varied breakfast, something for everyone, different breads, pastries, crepes...
Very convenient indoor parking.
Thank you to the entire team, who were so helpful and friendly.

22/09/2026: A quick stop during our vacation, and we certainly weren't disappointed! We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The restaurant only offers two or three different dishes for each course (starter, main, and dessert) to ensure fresh, seasonal ingredients. We had a wonderful meal, thank you, and we'll definitely be back!

From start to finish, everything was perfect. The dishes were delicious, generous, and truly flavorful. For the price, we were more than delighted: our plates were overflowing, and we left with full stomachs and smiles! 😋
A big thank you also to all the staff: the servers and the entire team were extraordinary, kind, smiling, attentive, and highly professional.
We wholeheartedly recommend La Gétière for a wedding or any other special event. You can trust them to delight your guests and make this moment a truly beautiful memory.

22/08/2026: The service needs improvement. You get the feeling you're bothering them... The coffees aren't listed inside. The drinks are okay, but the prices are extremely high.
21/08/2026: While waiting for our bus, we settled into the café.
The ice cream was good, both ice cream and sorbet.
It said the pastries were homemade 😍
However, it was expensive.

17/09/2026: We come to Landevieille regularly and we always enjoy eating at Val d'Aure.
The food is made with fresh ingredients. The set lunch menu (starter/main course/dessert and coffee) for €15.80 is really excellent 👍.
Excellent value for money.
We'll be back next April 🙂.
08/09/2026: The food was excellent, no complaints about the cuisine or the restaurant itself, which is nice. The prices are very reasonable. However, the waitress didn't seem happy to be working there, or to be working at all 🤷🏻♂️. She wasn't friendly, which is a shame.

19/09/2026: Passing through Saint-Gilles during our week's holiday, we naturally headed to this magnificent restaurant overlooking the port. We received a very warm welcome from the waitress (with a short haircut), and the staff were very attentive throughout our meal, even with my toddlers despite their cacophony. The manager (I presume, with a short bob), who is described as unpleasant in the comments below, was quite the opposite with us that day (Tuesday, September 15, 2026); perhaps we were just lucky? 😉😂 In any case, we had a perfect experience. The portions were very generous, and the tiramisu was a real treat. If I had to mention one negative point, I would say the price.

06/08/2026: We really enjoyed our meal on the terrace overlooking the port, the menu was worthy of a restaurant... The service was impeccable, there was no pressure to have lunch, and the waitresses and waiters were very attentive to the customers.

11/05/2026: A wonderful stay at the Hôtel des Dunes!
The welcome was simple and warm, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel's facilities are fairly basic, but the rooms are beautifully renovated, modern, comfortable, and very clean. The bedding is excellent, and you feel right at home.
The hotel is also very well located, easily accessible, and convenient for exploring the island. A very pleasant surprise; I highly recommend it!

20/08/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs!! I was served a burger with a frozen-in-the-core patty on a plate that was clearly not washed properly!! As for the service, they need to go back to basics: politeness, a smile, and friendliness!!
It's a shame I can't give less than one star because this restaurant doesn't even deserve that one!!!
