27/04/2026: We stayed for a family weekend. We were delighted with our stay. The hotel is lovely, we had dinner in the restaurant and it was perfect, we also ate at the snack bar and it was also perfect, and the breakfast was excellent as well. Thank you to the hotel staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

26/04/2026: I only ate at their restaurant, which was absolutely delicious and luxurious, specializing in fish and shellfish. Every Sunday there's an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet and a dessert platter, and you can also order the daily set menu. On other days there's a very varied selection. In my opinion, this restaurant deserves a Michelin star.

14/06/2026: I booked a table at the restaurant for 8:00 PM. I received an email confirmation. But unfortunately, the restaurant is closed.

16/05/2026: It's a shame this place is closed when we had a reservation, and closing time was announced at 9:30pm, it's now 8:30pm.

15/02/2026: It's a shame the seafood sauerkraut wasn't up to par. There was no sirloin steak as advertised on the menu. And no homemade fries as indicated. The wait was far too long. Very disappointed.

14/02/2026: We came today as a party of four without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and they had a nice menu with several choices of fish and meat dishes, including a daily special. We ordered a rib of beef, steak tartare, and pink duck breast strips at 12:45 PM. An hour later, we still hadn't been served. I asked the waitress why it was taking so long, and she gave us a rather unfriendly response: "The oven isn't expandable" or "The restaurant is full," which is unjustifiable given the long wait. An hour and a half later, our dishes arrived, all good and hot, except for the duck breast strips, which were served medium-rare but inedible, with cold mashed potatoes and a sauce that wasn't the one that was supposed to go in the dish. I asked for them to be replaced, but unfortunately, they were out of duck breast strips in the kitchen, so I had no meal. We left disappointed with our meals. I would recommend this restaurant for a group with plenty of time and a lot of patience.

30/08/2026: Heading to the countryside with feathers and taste buds: The decor of this crêperie in Chantonnay has everything to charm: a refined, warm, almost enchanting atmosphere that promises a relaxing moment. The food, too, lives up to its promise. The galettes are smooth, flavorful, and expertly prepared—proof of real culinary talent. A promising start that could easily win over enthusiasts. But very quickly, the charm cracks. And that's an understatement. Barely seated, barely having ordered (12:45 pm), a sense of urgency already intrudes upon the table: desserts must be chosen immediately, under the pretext that "the chef is going to turn off the stoves" (there are still several tables that haven't ordered yet). An internal organization that, instead of remaining invisible, is imposed on the customer with disconcerting rigidity. What follows is almost like being put under pressure. At 1:30 p.m., while the main course was still being served, the waitress intervened to rush the meal. Her tone became insistent, her remarks inappropriate. It reached a truly unacceptable level with this comment: "Ah, Madam doesn't eat much because she talks so much." This intrusive familiarity, tinged with condescension, simply has no place in an establishment open to the public. The service continued to deteriorate: desserts were rushed out without being cleared first, giving the impression of an assembly line where the customer becomes a logistical constraint rather than a guest. Even more troubling, this experience doesn't seem to be isolated. Other customers, known to my friend, reported experiencing the same constant pressure to speed up their meals. What could have been dismissed as a one-off incident actually reveals a worrying pattern of behavior. Thus, behind quality cuisine and an attractive setting lies a rushed, casual, and sometimes downright disrespectful service. An address that could shine, but which, to date, mostly gives the impression of having forgotten the essentials: hospitality.....

07/09/2026: For my birthday, I was surprised with my dessert (my husband was in on it with the waitress). I was greeted with a smile and a sense of humor, and the meal was excellent. The value for money was unbeatable. The interior and exterior were very attractive. They accept ANCV holiday vouchers. I highly recommend it.

07/10/2026: The tea room is expensive for the quality of the food. Over €6 for a supposedly homemade chocolate crepe that looks more like a store-bought chocolate sauce. It's a shame because the place itself is nice.

11/09/2026: The welcome was fantastic; we had the homemade mussels and fries, which were excellent and plentiful. We finished our meal with a chocolate and salted butter tart that's definitely worth trying. There's a real sense of generosity at this restaurant. The servers are top-notch, the prices are more than reasonable, and the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful time.

31/08/2026: I was a little skeptical at first, given the low rating. However, it's a very good place to stop. They have a varied menu with very affordable prices. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. A major plus is the value for money. I hope this review will help raise the rating of this establishment, which truly deserves it.

06/09/2026: A great shop with a wide selection of ice cream. A pleasant saleswoman and reasonable prices. A lovely place to stop for a break while strolling through the streets of La Tranche-sur-Mer in the summer!

03/09/2026: Good and generous portions, all served with a smile. We came twice in a row, the waffle was delicious (they even offer you the almost second waffle made with the leftover batter instead of throwing it away) and the milkshake was very good and very generous! Delighted, we'll be back every day during our vacation! Edit: late August/early September, the waffles were still just as good, but the waitress was unpleasant two days in a row and the music was too loud for the customers.

01/09/2026: What a lovely discovery! A small restaurant that my cousin and her husband introduced us to. A small menu… but everything was fresh and delicious. The fish dish was exquisite, and those who opted for meat were delighted. And what can I say about the French toast… sensational! In short, a great place to remember!
