15/09/2024: We come regularly to Vézelay. And we have already eaten several times in this restaurant. So far, everything was going well (apart from the systematic errors on the final score). Today, what happened? I already had my doubts about it being homemade but I won't be made to believe that everything was fresh that day. The sauce for the beef bourguignon and that of my piece of beef tasted like reconstituted powdered sauce. Dessert? I order a soft cheese with blackcurrant coulis. I get custard. It would have been nice to warn: I would have chosen something else due to allergies. As for the service, we favor regulars and that's obviously normal. The regulars sitting next to us were particularly rude. And once again problems on the note. Smiling and efficiency have become options

09/09/2024: We had lunch in the cellar, damp, it was very unpleasant. Musty smell upon entering. All hot dishes were almost cold. Too bad, the pie would probably have been good if it had been served hot. We also waited between each course. Disappointed with this place.

29/08/2024: Very friendly place and quality dishes. On the other hand, the price is very much overestimated. €90 for two for a plate of charcuterie, cheese, dessert and a glass of wine. It's very excessive even if I say it again, everything is very good.

19/09/2024: To avoid, Sunday September 15, 2024 12:40 p.m. there is practically nothing left in the catering service apart from 5 Milanese chicken escalopes Cold fat runny potatoes, cold green beans having to come out of cans. Really it's not serious, already on motorway restaurants it's not great but here it goes beyond what I could imagine

20/09/2024: Y ai mangé ce midi en terrasse. Menu OK par contre la propreté est à revoir. Cendriers bien pleins sur les tables, mégots et papier par terre, toiles d araignées sur la façade et très sale dans l angle de la terrasse où je me trouvais. Ce n est ni balayé, ni lavé. Bières en bouteilles pas disponibles alors qu elle figurent sur l écriteau. Mon couteau était sale et ma serviette en papier déchirée. Terrasse bruyante du fait des passages des voitures.

04/04/2024: Nice brasserie, cuisine like at home or like at grandma's. Unfortunately with the work, everyone thinks it's closed, but that's not the case, the owners are waiting for you.

05/09/2024: The website is not up to date, for me it's zero points, no respect for the customer. Mrs. Vibert, hello, I understand that running a restaurant requires rigorous organization, and I respect your staff's need to rest. However, as a customer, it's frustrating to rely on incorrect information available online, leading to a poor experience before you even walk through the door of your establishment. I also understand that you cannot currently update your website. That said, proactive and clear communication, particularly on your social networks or via automated messages to inform of your new schedules, could avoid these inconveniences in the future. My intention is not to "drown" your comment platforms, but simply to express my disappointment in a lack of visibility on current information. Good communication with your customers is essential to avoid this type of misunderstanding and maintain a relationship of trust. I wish you good luck for the future and hope that this feedback can be useful in improving customer satisfaction. Sincerely,

01/09/2024: Certes mon titre est violent mais à la hauteur du vécu. Dimanche 1er septembre, jour de la St Fiacre (fête emblématique de Sens) Tous les restaurants sont fermés ou en liquidation. Reste la Pizzeria de la cathédrale (voir mon avis sur ce restaurant mais surtout son patron) et L'Ecu. La punition car pas le choix. Donc on se dit ça a peut-être changé, car mes 2 dernières expériences ont été catastrophiques et il y a longtemps. Il y a bien eu X changt de propriétaire, donc petit espoir. Hélas NON ! C'est la même daube. D entrée "la patronne " annonce le tempo. Je suis seule, je fais la cuisine, le service, la plonge, le bar ...il y aura de l attente. OK OK...pas le choix Une sourie d agneau 24 eur , sans goût, sans saveur, sans sauce ! Alors que c'est un pur produit industriel. Des frites élastiques froides ....une tarte citron humide, made in Pasquier. 2 repas avec de l eau 84 € BREF les 4 tablées ont eu les mêmes réactions de franchement catastrophique pour un restaurant qui se la joue "classe" Quelle punition ! PS pour le sel allez au carrefour d à côté car sur 6 tables zéro sel dans le moulin. Et l hygiène des toilettes ou de la salle ...no comment

14/08/2024: Pleasantly surprised by the cuisine. The burgers are also great. Small problem, mosquitoes in the evening, avoid the terrace.

17/08/2023: As soon as French isn't spoken, everyone switches to stubborn mode; you can't even order anything in English. When I tried to translate with my cell phone, no time was given. The food came very quickly and was just warmed up. Despite WiFi on the cell phone, it was denied that you had WiFi. I cannot recommend it for foreign guests
