17/08/2024: After wandering through the picturesque town of Tonerre, I decided to stop here after seeing an exciting set menu on a chalk board for €24 per person. The meal started out very well: the speedy service ensured I had my drink within 5 minutes and my starter within 10. This is where the real highlight of Le P’tit Gourmand was - the food. To start I had a delicious and exciting quiche de jambon et fromage with the crispiest and most buttery pastry you’ve ever tasted. What made this quiche unique was the perfect balance between the tanginess of the goat’s cheese and the saltiness of the ham. Following that I chose the filet mignon with potatoes and carrot purée. For me, this was the highlight of the meal: the filet mignon practically melted in my mouth and the balance between the earthiness of the carrot purée and potatoes with the richness of the filet mignon was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately it was at this point that the dining experience went downhill and the waiters seemed to lose interest in my table. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes before we asked for our table to be cleared away and for the dessert menu, despite several waiters walking past our table and seeing we were finished. For pudding, I had a tarte aux poires with vanilla ice cream, which was delicious and not too sweet which I appreciated. However, it was not enough to make up for the frankly poor service that I received. It’s really a pity because had the service lived up to the quality of food, this restaurant would really be something quite special and exciting. Instead, it feels like they are striving for something but can’t quite be bothered to get there. 3 stars.

29/06/2024: Petit arrêt impromptu sur Auxerre et coup de chance, nous avons pu avoir une place. Accueil et service impeccable, entrée, plat et dessert étaient subtils et délicieux. Mention spéciale pour le tartare aux saveurs estivales et l'île flottante sur sa soupe aux fruits rouges.

18/09/2024: we show up at 1:30 p.m. just to eat an ice cream, we are refused because we don't have a reservation, they display BAR-Restaurant..since when do you have to book in a BAR to eat an ice cream..... -Just to clarify to the owner that unfortunately there are no errors in the establishment, we were there...the bar was open and people were eating on the terrace!!! You say closed that day.. but I just put August, no days..!

06/10/2024: Restaurant à connaître lorsque l on visite les caves de la région Du cadre à l’accueil tout est raffiné et chaleureux la cuisine est excellente fine digne d’un très bon gastronomique avec un prix correct à découvrir sans hésitation

18/11/2023: Happy discovery of this brewery this afternoon. The place is very warm, exposed stone with beams, flambé in cast iron wood stove and really nice decor. The chef and his team are top notch. The homemade burgers are excellent, the pumpkin velouté with succulent porcini mushrooms.... the desserts are also worth the detour. Very good value for money. In short, an address not to be missed. The upstairs is also worth a look! The address is noted for our next stay in the region.

11/11/2023: Great meal, there were 5 of us. The snails, Chablisienne ham, hamburgers, crème brûlée and chocolate financier are delicious. Thank you for the welcoming.

26/03/2024: Bar restaurant L' Escale 60 in France... nice bar,... it happened when I know it could be a break... with the truck. A must stop to have a delicious beer🍺🍺. an appetizer or. Whatever you want.. they also sell tobacco.. the bar is very good, very clean and the staff is very correct.. and good music 🎼🎵.. I recommend it Danke schoen..

19/09/2025: It's a seemingly abandoned hotel in the middle of nowhere. Upstairs, a long corridor leads to squalid rooms: the floor is dirty, dust has caked over the years in the telephone cords, and the bottom of the toilet bowl is brown. The room rate includes a breakfast that wouldn't even be served in a hospital. Ultimately, the value for money is disastrous.

17/08/2024: C’est juste tellement authentique et bon ! Déjeuner à l’intérieur ou en terrasse et savourer les bons plats faits avec des produits locaux et servis par les cuisiniers !!! On adore !!! Réservation indispensable !!!!

09/08/2024: L’accueil a été très agréable, nous avons pu y dîner malgré la réservation d’un groupe important. Les plats traditionnels réalisés à partir des produits locaux, en plus ce sont les producteurs qui cuisinent !!! Merci !

11/07/2024: J'ai récemment dîné dans ce restaurant et l'expérience a été exceptionnelle. Le repas était un véritable délice, chaque plat étant soigneusement préparé et magnifiquement présenté. Les saveurs étaient parfaitement équilibrées et chaque bouchée était un pur plaisir. Le service était tout aussi remarquable : les serveurs étaient professionnels, attentionnés et très accueillants, rendant l'atmosphère encore plus agréable. C'est sans aucun doute une adresse à ne pas manquer pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine et de moments conviviaux.

20/03/2024: Outre l’accueil qui a été chaleureux, les plats sont joliment préparé et délicieux. Un grand merci au chef pour ce sublime dîner qui a ravi nos papilles sans appauvrir notre portefeuille. Un menu entrée plat et dessert à 25€, il n’y a pas à se poser de question. Allez y les yeux fermés, vous ne regretterez pas. Le chef ne travaille qu’avec des produits frais, de ce fait le menu n’est pas très étoffé. Mais du frais, du savoureux, c’est tout ce que l’on recherche lorsque l’on va au restaurant, donc je ne pourrai faire autrement que de recommander vivement cet établissement qui gagne vraiment à être connu.
