12/08/2024: We went to dinner as a family at this great restaurant. I highly recommend! We were made very welcome, and we were also treated to a complimentary cocktail. The manager and the waiters are very friendly and always attentive. Everything was delicious, we were not disappointed. It’s a nice surprise, a big congratulations to the chef. We will surely come back.

28/08/2024: Everything was very good.....except the nauseating smell on the lake side terrace. The only downside, but the restaurant has nothing to do with it.

27/08/2024: 40min wait with a 2 year old child. Forced to take away because of the waiting time and result, lasagna and burnt onions, and the other dishes very very bland. Very disappointed

A few regular pizzas or starter and dessert buffet. My husband had a pizza that we had to ask for after an hour...And there, big disappointment. Just worthy of a cheap frozen pizza. As for me, I took the buffets and big disappointment too, much less choice than other years and desserts, little choice and quality to be reviewed. Way too expensive for what is offered. We really missed the menu from other years and the delicious cassoulet that was offered. It would have been more correct to specify when booking that there was no longer a card. In addition, the waiter who served us was not very professional or friendly. We were told that the restaurant opened at 8 p.m. and when we arrived at the restaurant at 8:10 p.m., we realized that everyone present had finished eating. Result, buffet with a lot of things missing and we had to wait before it was refilled. The waiter brought us the appetizer along with the wine and water right from the start. As a result, the rosé wine was hot... At 8:45 p.m., there was practically no one left in the room, we still didn't have our pizza and the waiters were starting to clear the tables for breakfast the next day. A waiter even came to take away my plate even though I had taken the buffets and was having my dessert... The unpleasant feeling of being in the way and being too much, while my husband did not He still hadn't had his pizza and we had to go and ask for it. In short, this year, still delighted with the hotel part but much too disappointed with the so-called restaurant part and its staff

06/07/2025: We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The owners are charming and attentive to their guests. The rooms are very quiet, decorated in a 19th-century style. A deliberate choice, which perfectly matches this beautiful establishment, steeped in history, which has defied time for five generations. Above all, don't change a thing! It's perfect as it is. The garden is pure beauty, with its hydrangea hedge. The icing on the cake is the swimming pool, which we could enjoy even after checking out. What can I say about the restaurant? Simply a huge wow! Impeccable staff, attentive and highly professional. The cuisine is worthy of a fine restaurant; it was a delight, from starter to dessert. The rice pudding was incredibly good. "Dear Sir, you who left a negative comment about your great-grandfather having better taste, please know that tastes and colors differ from person to person. It's understandable that you don't like the decor, but why make such a comment? The photos are on the establishment's website, in complete transparency. You would have made someone happy by booking elsewhere. Perhaps a Formula 1 would have been more suited to your stay. Also, please be aware that the restaurant industry has high standards, which you are certainly not aware of, since you say they overdo it. A fast-food restaurant would have been perfect for you." If you are looking for a place to stay in Luchon, I warmly recommend the Hôtel d'Etigny. Ideal location, opposite the thermal baths.

02/10/2024: Great culinary experience this weekend with Amis et fines herbes. Morning preparation of half-cooked foie gras ballotins. Good quality explanations, guided step by step with a recipe that is both simple and original. We leave with our preparations... and today it was the tasting, a delight. 07/12/2025: Very good classic kebab with white sauce, salad, tomatoes, and onions. Very generous portion with plenty of meat inside. A minor issue with the second kebab: it was missing the salad, but it wasn't a big deal. I'll gladly go back.

04/09/2024: Overall it's okay. Except that we are told swimming pool spa sauna and well no it closed before because not enough people. If I had known I would not have rented it. because given the weather the indoor swimming pool would have been a big plus. Then the gift arrived, a box with something inside to do some serious cleaning, it's the holidays and I was given a sponge of floor product, a garbage bag and a roll of toilet paper in case it sucks to do the cleaning. The people on the other hand are very nice.

01/04/2025: My husband and I came here, attracted by the restaurant's super-friendly setting and the promise of homemade dishes. Indeed, the atmosphere is pleasant and the food is good. However, one major drawback tarnishes the experience. The appetizer was barely served when the starter arrived, and before anyone had even finished their starter, the main course was already on the table. As a result, one person finishes their starter and waits for the other to finish theirs, while the dishes cool on the table. To top it all off, we paid for two full menus, while only one person had dessert. It's a shame because the place has potential, but this service management spoils the experience. I don't think I'll be going back.
