The atmosphere was rather dull, with the same music playing constantly. And there were only two other people in the room.

14/03/2026: Stoped en route to alps, easy parking, late check in and we were given a code, and the lady waited for us. Room was clean, comfortable bed, furniture and fittings (bathroom) a bit dated but all worked and was warm.
Lovely old town with lots of nice shops and eateries.
This is our second visit and we will return

For a two star hotel this was perfect

17/01/2026: Luckily this restaurant was open that Saturday lunchtime at the end of January, as there are few places to eat lunch near the half-timbered churches we were visiting. A very warm welcome. Simple, home-style cooking, a delicious rice dish with tomato, onions, and wild mushrooms, and a very good veal sauté. Thank you to Aurore and Damien. Karine, Tours

15/03/2026: My review only concerns the restaurant section, which I've been to. Good home-style cooking, very attractive prices, friendly staff. I plan to go back regularly.
05/02/2026: I'm only commenting on the restaurant itself. The menu is simple, but the dishes are well-prepared, the sauce is tasty, it's just a shame the fries aren't homemade. My only complaint is about some of the staff: they were cold, unfriendly, and even a bit unpleasant.

Room a bit dark.
Attentive service, but not up to 1-star standards.
The "I understand you" dinner was disappointing. Very complicated, lots of aspic, and the mackerel and squab choices were unconvincing. Only the dessert was excellent!
Not good value for money...
