Very good restaurant in the hotel with above average value for money!
16/09/2024: Hotel found urgently the same day. Clean room, comfortable bed, located 20 minutes walk from the city center. Reception staff a little cold but polite and helpful.

But the waiter was moderately pleasant despite the few people there were and the price was perhaps slightly exaggerated compared to the city.

27/08/2024: If you want to eat badly (bad food and very greasy), be poorly served (unfriendly, and borderline aggressive) and come out with a terrible headache (deplorable acoustics) all for a scandalous sum that would be better to invest elsewhere, Well this restaurant is made for you!
21/08/2024: Very good restaurant except that the hygiene of the toilets is scary, supporting photo! When it opens at midday, the toilets and the dirty sink show traces of poop in the toilet and the dirty sink too!

30/09/2024: Not great... we went there a few days ago we are sick the next day but I have been to several restaurants this is the first time that I am so sick the next day I will not come back again product defrost no taste especially dessert level
21/09/2024: Worst experience. We were both absolutely sick the next day. It's a shame, it's all too salty!

19/01/2025: Disappointing experience.
More than 20 minutes of waiting for a small order, with no sauce (even though marked in the order) and no spoon for the ice cream.
Packet of fries half filled and the whole order cold.
19/01/2025: Super slow service, almost 20 minutes to be served. The goal of a fast food restaurant is to be served quickly (5-6 minutes maximum!) the sauces are regularly forgotten and the dishes are cold (in general, not all fortunately).
Little advice to improve yourself:
- organized yourself to be fast
- don't hesitate (managers) to speak up in the kitchen to get your teammates moving.
- check orders before sending, even quickly.
By being faster, the dishes will automatically be hotter during delivery

24/09/2024: Beautiful building that's all, mediocre room, no bulb in the bedside lamps! Dirty carpet in the hallway. Poor breakfast. And no luck, mess all night inside as well as in front of the front door with alcoholics, couldn't sleep.... the cigarette smoke from the people who smoked all night in the corridors entered the room from which the door had a gap of 1 cm! The person at reception who was the boss didn't say anything until midnight that he was there and then worse of course, no apology or commercial gesture in the morning, we will never go back there and I don't recommend it.
17/09/2024: arrival without reservation, decent welcome, very clean rooms and bathrooms but with a slightly dated decor and no bed cover or curtains, Indian evening meal on site, very decent breakfast

28/09/2024: Classic McDonald's as we know them. Lots of mixed generations, it’s nice… good atmosphere. It feels good to hurt yourself with too many calories. We'll regret it later 😃😃
12/09/2024: Very disappointed with Mc Donald the waiter doesn't understand anything in the end instead of having a maximum we had a normal meal, and for the drinks you are told when you give your order that all the drinks are zero, staff really not competent, I will not come back to your place again

As the first warm weather finally arrived, the terrace was magnificent and the meal lived up to expectations. Both the meat and fish are mastered, the appetizers are creative and delicious, the wine list, in addition to champagnes (let's not forget that we are in the lower Champagne region) and usual wines, offers some bottles of very honest local wines. .
The service was young, a little awkward that day but adorable; the mayors of Colombey and Chaumont, at the next table, spoke loudly, imbued and self-congratulating with wind. Too bad but we can't hold that against this beautiful establishment which is worth the detour!
28/07/2024: Nous avons passé un moment agréable autour d’une grande table ronde, dans un décor mêlant l’ancien et le baroque. Les différentes touches dessert pistache était fabuleuses.. Nous notons toutefois que le poisson était très bon mais la sauce moins recherchée

12/08/2024: Echt vreselijk. Warme dranken. Warme witte wijn. De magnetron gaat af en aan. De deur van de vriezer gaat iedere keer open. Gerechten die uitlekken op het bord. Alleen kan ze het niet aan. Niet vers niet Oke. Afrader in de hoogste soort. Ze is wel heel vriendelijk maar niets begrepen van de horeca.

Dommage car les plats sont corrects.
Il faut revoir le service! Un des deux à son cocktail pendant que l'autre attend le sien.

Pizzas fades , sans aucunes saveurs ..
IP0ngrédients inexistants en quantité , nous voyons en majeure partie le fond rouge de
la " sauce tomate " aucunement aromatisée par des herbes ... Et cette fameuse sauce tomate acide et très aigre , bonjour la digestion ..!
Bref , la note de 2 sur 5 , est dûe uniquement par l'accueil et le service qui est bien .!!
23/06/2024: I am really surprised by the quite laudatory comments. The cuisine is OK but really not exceptional. I was a regular but I really noticed a drop in quality at least proportional to the increase in certain prices... The price of certain drinks/dishes has no equal in other establishments in the city.

09/09/2024: Very good simple food. Changing menu - predominantly meat dishes - individual dishes and various menu variants. The focus is on lunch from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The fact that the location is visited by many working people at lunchtime speaks for itself.
05/09/2024: Stayed in a nearby hotel and this restaurant by chance. Staff very helpful with our limited French. The meal was very tasty well prepared and an extensive choice . Well used by locals which is obviously a good sign

08/09/2024: We expected something better than what we received. The waitress was affable enough but rushed off her feet. There was no menu card, only what was chalked on a board. The menu du jour, 16 euros, looked fair enough, but as we didn't really fancy what was on offer, we were shown the other side of the board with different 'plats'. Still called menu du jour but no entree or dessert. The grilled ham we ordered was very dull, served with a small portion of chips. We ordered a pichet of wine, but as there was nothing written down, we asked the price and were told 10 euros. When we got the bill the wine was 13.50. We queried it and were told the the price had gone up. 35% inflation in just over an hour. Surely it can't be that high in France. When we said we weren't happy about it in French, (they weren't aware we spoke French), the waitress looked very sheepish. We'll avoid this place next time in Langres.
