17/04/2026: The meat was undercooked (burnt taste and black particles). I requested it rare; one was cooked very rare, the other two medium-rare, to the point of being very firm.

09/04/2026: Service: The plate was placed outside the table, the waitress didn't know the daily special or the side vegetable and had no desire to ask about it... And there were only four tables... Food: Cold ribeye steak, cold fries, and hardly anyone there... (After I complained, I was told that was normal with rare steak...) Excellent meat: thankfully. Atmosphere: The patio door was wide open (drafting down our backs), closed when we asked. Four cars at 12:30 pm had already worried us, especially since the restaurant is usually quite full... We used to come regularly when we were passing through Saint Didier, and we always had attentive, friendly, and very pleasant waiters. Two daily specials for 49 euros and service by people who were clearly not trained. So this is our last time...

01/05/2026: No respect, no one singing at the top of their lungs during the meal, no peace and quiet.

01/05/2026: We had pizza. The crust was thin and hadn't risen at all. We asked for chili oil, and they gave me packets. I wanted the bottled kind, and they told me, "Not on the terrace." There were smokers on the terrace... very unpleasant for others. I won't be going back.

26/03/2026: The service was adequate, just lacking a smile. There was a choice of dishes (3 to 4) per category. A bit pricey for a roadside inn. Airplanes fly over quite frequently (due to the military base).

09/01/2026: This restaurant is located on the N4 highway just outside Saint-Dizier, Haute-Marne, heading from the provinces towards Paris. We had lunch there: steak tartare with fries and a hamburger with fries, salad, and a cheese plate. The tartare was perfectly seasoned, and the ground beef was of good quality. Our only slight complaint was that the fries weren't homemade; it's a shame, as we prefer to pay a little more for good fries. We were seated at a late hour for the provinces (1:40 pm), which was a big plus. The dining room is spacious, and the tables are well-spaced, another good point. The service was professional and pleasant, yet another plus. The bill wasn't exorbitant, a final good point. We highly recommend this culinary stop. Simple, good, and good value for money.

10/11/2025: Due to their popularity, the waiting time is enormous, but it's worth it.

23/04/2026: The food is good (pizza for €15 and lasagna for €17), but the value for money is disappointing due to the wait. We waited 40 minutes on a Thursday with only 50% of the tables occupied. The staff are friendly, but it's too expensive for such slow service, especially when you're hungry. A shame.

05/03/2026: I went for lunch today and there was no welcome from the staff, they were not friendly at all…it makes me not want to go back. I do not recommend this brasserie at all, and the price for a salad, considering the size of the plate, I find it expensive…

09/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! Since the change of ownership, the hotel has been superbly renovated. The spaces are magnificent, tastefully designed, perfect for relaxing and dining in a pleasant setting. The management's welcome was excellent, with a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you want to return. A truly wonderful place to stay, highly recommended!

The new management has breathed new life into the place with noticeable improvements in both the reception and the services offered. The staff is attentive, professional, and responsive, making for a particularly pleasant stay. The rooms are well-maintained and offer a good level of comfort. There is a genuine commitment to improvement and customer satisfaction. This is a hotel that deserves to be rediscovered under its new management!

20/12/2025: My parents wanted to go there, and my sister did one day too, but the place was half empty even though they were told it was full. I'll never set foot in it, which is a shame. Really good restaurants deserve attention, but what's really disappointing is being treated like dirt. Sometimes you stumble upon a dive, but anyway, we found a good restaurant in Langres thanks to that refusal, and I thank them for it 😊

30/10/2025: Old restaurant, poorly ventilated shower. 2 kirs, meal and shower €25.90. The new owner really sees truckers as cash cows... not to mention the state of the parking lot... IN SHORT, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

02/01/2026: The "vigneronne" salad was terrible: two loose lettuce leaves, two pieces of Gruyère cheese, and a few very, very light croutons! The pasta carbonara was served on an Arcopal dessert plate, and the whole thing was tasteless and watery! The wait between courses was interminable. Furthermore, the waitress wasn't very friendly and kept sucking her thumbs. Avoid at all costs!

06/04/2026: I arrived at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning... The person cleaning in front of me said, "It's not 8:00 AM yet, ma'am. Please wait. I'll ask my colleague who was there at 8:00 AM." As a result, I bought an overpriced orange juice for €3.80, downed it in one gulp, and went to the restroom. Wet or not, I don't care... At some point, if it opens at 8:00 AM, there's no need to make comments like that, and everything should be operational by 8:00 AM! I'll never go there again!

30/03/2026: Things have improved considerably since the new management... a welcoming and pleasant place, quality meals.
