20/01/2026: Located on the Pupillin hill, in an enchanting setting between Poligny and Arbois, this restaurant is a highly recommended stop. The ambience is modern and tastefully decorated, as is the cuisine: contemporary, clean, and unfussy dishes that let the ingredients speak for themselves. The real highlight, however, is the wine list: a deep and thoughtful selection that celebrates the Jura in all its facets. If you're a lover of the region, this is a must-visit.

26/01/2026: Good winelist, amazing food, a bit pricy but the quality is worth it. Personal contact with all the staff members, super friendly, multi-lingual.
There was no background music, so sometimes there was a bit of awkward silence, but I think its a minor detail.
15/12/2025: Great place, friendly service, good atmosphere, and delicious food. A minor point: the portions were a little too large (I have a big appetite), and I especially loved the reimagined cappuccinos. Everything was very good and well-prepared.

I highly recommend this restaurant, which also stands out for its thoughtful touches. The rum supplement was a very welcome addition.

05/02/2026: Really low prices (set menu €18 for starter/main/dessert), quick and decent service, but it's not homemade, which is a shame when you see "auberge" (inn) and you expect at least some decent cooking!
And P.S. We got ripped off on the aperitifs: €4.50 for a Monaco (a type of cocktail) is steep…

€18 for a starter, main course, and dessert, with two choices, is becoming rare... Original dishes with ingredients that looked fresh and homemade. Quick and friendly service, no complaints. Worth trying one evening...

The staff, both professional and friendly, greatly contributed to this wonderful experience. The wine list was also very good. Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: Delicious food, quick and efficient service. However, a couple of minor drawbacks: the extra charges—€1 for a slice of lemon in the beer!!! and €8 for the morels that accompany the veal steak. That's a third of the price of the steak. That said, it was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. There were no scallops in the vol-au-vent and very little sweetbread in the starter.

It's a sure bet and a must-visit in Salins-les-Bains!

I highly recommend this trip.
22/01/2026: It's good, but not always hot. My partner's meat was perfect, but the avocado in my salad was cold, as if it had come out of the freezer. The waiter seemed a bit overwhelmed. The price isn't excessive.

The vaulted ceiling is very pleasant! No feeling of dampness or cold, quite the opposite!
The meals are very good!
Perhaps a minor point: the poultry was a little dry despite the sauce, but nothing serious!
A small restaurant that I highly recommend 😉
