02/02/2026: I had the opportunity to discover this wine cellar during a tasting I received as a Christmas gift. There were three of us, all novices, and Laurent skillfully adapted his explanations to share the fundamentals of his passion. A true professional who doesn't talk down to you, with genuine kindness in every word, and a very easygoing manner, which led us to discuss his craft. Five superb wines were offered for our tasting (which we were delighted to take home afterwards :-) ). I had a wonderful Sunday morning.... 31/05/2026: A very good restaurant in the center of Figeac. The staff are friendly and kind, which is a pleasure, and the food is top-notch. Their couscous, invented and revisited by the chef, is absolutely divine—original and very flavorful. The duck breast was also excellent, but with the truffade (a potato and cheese dish) in hot weather, it's a bit heavy to digest. They just need to consider a different side dish, and it would be perfect, perhaps even worthy of six stars.

25/05/2026: Authentic home-style brasserie cuisine, a wide selection of quality dishes that delighted us. Excellent value for money. One of the best in Figeac, far superior to many of the restaurants that line Rue de Clermont! It's a shame the owner isn't the friendliest, but she's a great salesperson and so professional! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Figeac.

08/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance one stormy evening. The staff were friendly, but the service was incredibly slow… we ordered 5 minutes after being seated… and were served after 55 minutes. The food was good, but not extraordinary. My fish wasn't cooked enough, but given how long we waited, I didn't ask for it to be sent back. A bit pricey for what it is. Yes, it's filling, yes, the atmosphere is pleasant, a cozy cottage feel, yes, the dishes seem a bit gourmet, but don't go if you're in a hurry. Very few vegetarian options. €95 for 2 without drinks.

18/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! Fresh, local produce, delicious food, and great value for money. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service friendly. The only slight drawback was the somewhat long wait, but overall it was a very good experience that I highly recommend.

17/06/2026: A group of 13 motorcyclists for 3 nights Booked in December Upon arrival, our room key was thrown onto the counter without explanation, and we were put up in the pilgrims' hostel! We were surprised by a minimalist room, especially considering it was the same price as a hotel room! There was no gesture of goodwill from the owner, who, without competent and attentive staff, might have to close his establishment. So, very disappointed with this experience. On the other hand, the food was perfect. Sir, a welcoming smile would have been appreciated by everyone. Best of luck.

09/06/2026: We live in the next village, and yet last night was our first time at the Hôtel des Grottes restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, and I was very pleasantly surprised to have a duck breast cooked exactly as I requested, which never happens in other restaurants. But above all, we want to thank our waiter, Lucas, who, in addition to being very professional, is incredibly kind and generous. A real gem! We can't wait to eat at this establishment again.

17/05/2026: We had an excellent mid afternoon hearty meal here after stopping during our boat trip on the Lot River. Friendly service and great food! And it was nice to be able to eat during the late afternoon, which is not always possible in this area. We enjoyed the appetizers, three different types of stews and a nice dessert.

The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. They offered helpful advice on the different choices. A professional service delivered with passion. A must-try for those who haven't been before, and we'll gladly return.
