25/09/2024: I'm calling because I'm looking for a job, I'm getting hit in the face by a lady who thinks she's the 7th wonder of the world🤣🤣🤣🤣 who has nothing to do in this establishment who has me speaking badly which is intolerable when you are in the restaurant business, you have to come in the morning something but it doesn't matter in the morning or in the afternoon the job search and a full-time job she had better keep her mouth shut don't you don't worry I will refer to your management it's intolerable plus I live 50 kilometers away the comments posted previously do not reflect the image of this establishment please never apply here don't go there anymore there are other restaurants much nicer than the one who will welcome you better run away

13/11/2024: 10 of us came for November 11th. The establishment was full…. On the three terraces!!!!! We waited about ten minutes and a nice young dark-haired woman seated us on the terrace. On the one hand the service is remarkable, everything is magnificently well organized. On the other hand the dishes are good. As for us, we ate typical dishes based on foie gras but also pancakes and pizzas! Finally a perfect restaurant in every way! THANKS !

03/09/2024: Basically, coming for 2 days, we were so well received that we extended our stay by an additional day..... Remarkable place, 2 star hotel but which by these services could easily aim for the 3rd... ... Over these 3 days we also ate a variety of platters and gourmet dishes (a pure culinary experience)......... A attentive staff, a boss who reflects the image of his establishment...... ... We are thinking of coming back next year with family..... Recommended for travelers looking for local, regional products and authenticity.......

16/09/2024: Heerlijk geluncht op terras waar de zon steeds meer ging schijnen! Vooraf borrelplank gedeelt met div. Vleeswaren, kaas en ganzenlever. Witte wijn Uby was super (17 euro fles) confit de canard en kalfsvlees waren super lekker.

02/09/2024: We went - without a reservation but with fingers crossed - to Au bistrot de la halle for our last night on holiday. We have had some really good meals so the bar was set quite high. We looked online at about 40 restaurants in a 30min drive radius and settled on this one. The outside has a sweet little terrace and the inside looks a bit like an office (with interesting art and square ceiling tiles) however we only noticed it as we were some of the first to arrive. Once the place filled, which it did quickly, there was a nice atmosphere. The menu had something for everyone. We had burrata, entrecote steak, truffle pasta, the kids had chicken and we all had way too much dessert! The food was excellent. Our fussy children tried everything, and liked it all. It is such a brilliant restaurant and the food despite sounding simple has clever flavours and pairings. Could you find something more picturesque? Probably. Would it have food as good as la halle? I very much doubt it. Such a gem of a restaurant, we wish we were on holiday for longer so we could come back!

11/09/2024: Nice square but the restaurant.....very shabby neighbourhood. Shabby People hanging around and in the restaurant. We got the shivers and didn't go in. Inside no cosiness at all. Don't go there! I sread go to le relais des Gourmands or hotel le Lion d'or!

10/09/2024: EXCELLENT !!! Top cuisine with spices that I didn't know. An extremely friendly boss. Impeccable service. Everything is fresh and top quality. I didn't know about it.... I will go back and recommend it with my eyes closed!

31/08/2024: Honestly I should not give such a review for this hidden gem…. Wow, the food is amazing, trust me on it. Do not expect a menu with exhaustive choices, but the ‘menu’ is good or go for the steak with home made fries…… The place has a great outdoor terrace with plenty of shade, a good wine list… no need to say more. Make a reservation as seats are limited and take your time, drink some wine and have conversations with your table friends…. Don’t go for a quick lunch or dinner, go for the experience.

24/08/2024: During a vacationer's stroll we discovered this nice restaurant. Following a call 15 minutes before arriving where we had confirmation that our dog was not bothering the establishment in any way, we arrived at the restaurant. Welcomed by a lady of absolute kindness. A simple short menu, we took a children's menu, a mixed plate and the dish of the day (beef tongue with spicy sauce) and everyone enjoyed it! An address truly worth discovering. Thank you for the quality of the meal and for this heart-warming welcome. Good luck to you.

05/09/2024: Restaurant idéalement situé près du musée Champollion et de la place des écritures. Personnel très accueillant, plats bon rapport qualité/prix et copieux. Je recommande. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

26/08/2024: C'est le Top de Figeac !! Cadre historiquement agréable sur la place Champollion. La patronne est très investie, dynamique, souriante, très à l'écoute de vos choix pour les accompagnements non désirables (oignons ou autres...) Les serveurs sont jeunes, souriant et à l'écoute aussi... Produits frais, carte très intéressante, assiettes généreuse La cuisson demandée est respectée. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés ! Nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix.

25/09/2024: Very good discovery, flavors that take you on a journey. We had couscous and a tagine. The portions are generous, just like the cuisine. We were able to take away what we couldn't finish. In addition to eating very well, the atmosphere is friendly and the waitresses are very smiling and exude a lot of sympathy. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back to enjoy other dishes!

09/09/2024: We have just spent an excellent holiday at the L'eau Vive campsite, the owners Linda & Eric are very welcoming and friendly, not forgetting Delphine and the children.... always available. We enjoyed the entertainment every evening. The region is superb which doesn't spoil anything. We recommend it to everyone and we send them big kisses.
