12/08/2026: We had a mishap with our campervan, and while it was being repaired, we stayed at this hotel. We didn't know how long we'd have to stay, and the owners were incredibly accommodating. They were so kind and welcoming. We had some language difficulties, but they made communication so easy. They were a huge help, and we're incredibly grateful. A special thanks to Aurore, a truly lovely woman.

01/09/2026: We stumbled upon this crêperie while strolling through Vayrac on a rainy day, and we were delighted. The dishes were delicious and generous, the service impeccable, and the owners were incredibly friendly. We paid €25 per person for a drink, main course, and dessert each, which is more than reasonable.

07/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. They very kindly agreed to seat us at closing time (thank you again!). We had a wonderful meal; the portions were generous and delicious (even the children's menu). The staff were incredibly friendly. We highly recommend it.

05/10/2026: We were seated quickly, but then it was a 10-minute wait for the menu, another 15 minutes to have our order taken, and 45 minutes to be served after three reminders! Admittedly, it was a busy Saturday night, but many customers were served within a reasonable timeframe. It's a real shame, as the food was excellent, but the wait spoiled the experience.

15/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this inn. The food was delicious, especially the foie gras and Chef Guillaume's potato gratin. The welcome was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. The setting is pleasant and a real change of scenery. We highly recommend this inn. Give Voyou a pat for him 😉 and a kiss from Rumba 😉

12/09/2026: There were only two of us seated in this lovely interior patio, and we were expecting to enjoy the following menu: Starter: Mimosa egg, Périgord black ham Main course: Saddle of lamb confit with honey, served with lentils prepared like petit salé (salt pork) Dessert: Thin plum tart --> Sounds tempting, doesn't it? The verdict: The egg was nothing like a mimosa; it was simply a hard-boiled egg on a bed of shredded red cabbage, accompanied by a few pieces of ham. A special mention for the vinaigrette, which added a touch of originality. Main course: Saddle of lamb and lentils, admittedly served on a warm plate, but cold from the first bite. We called the waitress over to let her know, and she asked us, looking rather dejected, if we wanted our food sent back to the kitchen... Of course we wanted to be sent back to the kitchen and have a hot meal; it goes without saying, the question shouldn't even have been asked! Fifteen minutes later, the plates came back: usually the kitchen doesn't bring back the same plates, and I gathered from her comment, "I don't know whose plate belongs to whom," that it was "our" plates that were being refilled... anyway, no big deal, the saddle of lamb would be hot this time... but no, it was lukewarm! We didn't insist and ate the saddle of lamb, which was certainly tender but unremarkable, lacking salt... but the salt shaker was empty. We told her we wouldn't be having dessert, and she replied that it was ready: yes, but we preferred to end this adventurous and disastrous meal. Off to the till: the bill was given to us, and the waitress explained that she had reduced it from €32 to €29 since we hadn't ordered dessert. We were lucky that dessert wasn't charged to us! We asked our waitress if anything could be done to compensate us... her response was that her manager was on vacation and she didn't know if he would reply! Unbelievable! In short: despite its idyllic setting and its "Best Table in the Lot" label, this restaurant doesn't live up to the Mercure standard.

09/07/2026: A truly wonderful place to relax in the heart of nature. The location is peaceful and secluded, making it the perfect escape after a long day on the Camino. The swimming pool is absolutely beautiful, the food was excellent, and the glamping tents are spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing experience. We would happily come back!

13/05/2026: During a stop on the Camino de Santiago along the Célé route, I spent a night at this campsite. Brice and Gaëlle, and their family, including Roxy 🐶, gave me a very warm welcome. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were excellent. The tents are comfortable, and the site prioritizes a natural setting, without feeling too close to other campers. The sanitary facilities are clean. And the location is ideal for stargazing at nightfall, in this dark triangle of the Quercy region. A big thank you to the four of you for this excellent stop on my adventure in this area!

27/09/2026: We came here during a cycling trip to treat ourselves to the only restaurant we could afford during our stay. Guided by the "local cuisine" signs, we were very disappointed. From the welcome to dessert, the evening menu was meager, more like a basic lunch menu. We paid a lot for small portions. We tried to chat with the owner, who didn't seem interested, even though the establishment is clearly geared towards cycling, with cycling jerseys as its interior decor. It was very cold. And then, some regulars arrived and were greeted warmly and friendly. It makes you wonder how it's possible to become a regular under these circumstances. 🤔 In short, a bad experience in a region otherwise renowned for its gastronomy and hospitality. We certainly won't be back, and fellow visitors and cyclists of all kinds, look elsewhere; it can only be better.

04/09/2026: A magnificent restaurant within walking distance, excellent service, quality ingredients, and fresh, locally sourced vegetables and tomatoes. And the ribeye steak was superb, cooked to perfection. And served quickly. When we return to France, to Lyon, we'll definitely come back.
