26/01/2025: We tried the veggie pizza and veggie burger and they were delicious. Excellent service, good atmosphere, nice terrace. Recommended! The olives are some of the best we have had in France, and the fries were also crunchy, very delicious. We went with our two dogs and sat on the terrace

07/09/2024: We had a great time in this restaurant. A calm and intimate atmosphere. A pretty setting with simple and neat decoration. An organized service, and welcoming and smiling servers. As for the cuisine… We enjoyed ourselves. As much with the half duck breast in honey sauce and its small vegetables, as with the duck confit. Thank you so much for allowing us to end our stay on such a beautiful note.

21/09/2024: The few extra minutes of driving out of Martel is worth the cost. We felt pampered and out of time, we recommend the hotel but also the restaurant whether for dinner or breakfast. We enjoyed quality, homemade products. We recommend without hesitation!

28/08/2024: Room number 15 is very uncomfortable. The bed was the worst, 1.35 or 1.40cm at most and, above all, the horrible mattress, with back pain the next day. The bathroom is tiny, the toilet is in a cubicle where not even a person can stand if you want to close the door. To enter the bathtub you have to climb a step and then enter a bathtub with a step inside. The room is located under the stairs and you hear who is going up or down the stairs all the time. The window looks out onto a downstairs roof with no view. Breakfast is expensive for what they offer. We had a reservation for 3 nights but we asked to be changed because, in addition, my partner has knee surgery and couldn't get in and out of the bathtub well. But it couldn't be because they had it full. They told us that no one had ever complained and they took it badly, without any empathy for my partner's physical problem... We had to go to another hotel because being here on vacation will surely make you bitter. I hope that this review will at least change the attitude of those responsible when a guest tells them a problem.

10/07/2025: Don't stay on some negative opinions for me, there aren't any...we ate very well...the cuisine is local, the waiters are very friendly and always have a smile as for the boss, he is easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor...go there with your eyes closed!

18/10/2024: Restaurant: I think i have gone here almost every year with my grandparents Cobi and Johan, probably since i was a kid of 5. Im 20 now and every time i go to france i just HAVE to go to Henry because they have impeccable service, a great atmosphere, the best fenelon and just great burgers! (And other very good dishes) 11/10 would reccomend

15/10/2024: Excellent welcome. In catering as well as in hotels I will also remember, no doubt, the kindness of this hotelier whose door the firefighters broke down and where I forgot my cap in the restaurant

24/08/2024: Small campsite in nature with potential, quiet and charming location, friendly owners, Beautiful swimming pool suitable for toddlers. not be too demanding about accommodation (no terrace, super cheap garden furniture, mobile homes which need to be renovated a little)

18/08/2024: The place is just magnificent. Nature and calm were what we were looking for. Lots of sightseeing to do all around. Jessica, David and their children are incredibly kind. Smiling and attentive. Family and cheerful campsite. We spent two weeks of zen there. Thank you again for your simplicity and kindness ♥️♥️

16/12/2023: The rooms are new, bathroom with walk-in shower. The surrounding environment is very calm. The restaurant is excellent, the service is fast. The staff takes great care of both the hotel and restaurant areas. Very good discovery!

08/10/2024: Very hearty meal of very good quality: we had a gabarre plate (everything was there: duck breast, gizzards, salad, breaded rocamadour and of course confit with fries) and for me a gourmet coffee. Very fair price. Pleasant setting. We had a great time.

05/08/2024: Finally fresh bread that can be frozen. Wide variety of bread: classic, country, wholemeal, cereal, pie, apricot fig, walnut raisin, even brioche and always very good. I recommend with your eyes closed.

09/11/2024: Restaurant: small room with real, good-sized tables. Veal's head and coq au vin are delicious. Parking opposite. Reserve, it's preferable.

31/10/2024: We spent a night there with family at the start of the week. Very warm welcome, family atmosphere, well-equipped rooms, comfortable and very clean. Free parking right opposite. An excellent breakfast.

26/11/2024: We came during our honeymoon. The landlady chose our magnificent, large room (exposed stone, fireplace, etc.). Comfortable bed. Great and refined dinner. Hearty and varied breakfast. The staff takes great care and advises very well. Free parking nearby.

29/10/2024: Romantic room and cozy bed with a view of La Dordogne. We slept well and felt very comfortable. The food was good and nicely presented. The service in the restaurant was attentive and the huge fireplace created a cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, like almost everywhere in France, there is no vegetarian menu available.
