15/02/2026: Great place, lovely food and good service

14/02/2026: Always love a formule du midi and this was a high point. Chicken and trompet de la mort quiche followed by melt in the mouth lamb, flageolet beans and a potato rosti. I then went for the chocolate eclair. All for €25.50! Fantastic.

05/04/2026: Fantastic restaurant La Guinguette in Grezels! We went there for Easter lunch, and the staff were very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The menu was varied, and everything was delicious! From the quality of the food to the presentation, everything was perfect. And what a setting! The terrace with its view of the Lot River... I highly recommend it!

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner at La Guinguette, Grezels. What a wonderful evening! A warm welcome, a refined and generous dinner of impeccable quality. With a good bottle of wine and a delicious aperitif, the evening was perfect. There was even an extra attraction: a raffle. What a great idea and what enthusiasm from the staff! And the pace! It deserves all our praise. Furthermore, it's an address we would recommend without hesitation! Thank you all. You made our evening excellent. Top-notch.

24/02/2026: Thank you so much for the lunch, we arrived late for lunch and with children who were screaming with hunger 😇.... a beautiful duck leg and a magnificent cut from the butcher....

05/12/2025: Hello, if you're passing through, avoid this restaurant. They only serve locals or regulars. We were served drinks, and after waiting for over an hour and a half, while all the tables that arrived after us were being served, they told us, "We have an electrical problem, but your food is coming." We waited another half hour, then left our table and went to the bar to pay our bills and leave. And there they told us, "The food is ready!" Well, no, madam, we're leaving. You've served everyone except us. In short, it's not a pleasant experience when you're on vacation in this beautiful region.

08/03/2026: The restaurant at the magnificent medieval Mercure hotel is beautifully decorated and inviting. The dishes are exquisite and imaginative, although the portions are a bit small. The price is somewhat high but appropriate for the location, the service, and the quality of the food. I didn't try the tasting menu, which I'm sure would be more satisfying.

27/02/2026: The service was very pleasant and discreet, with excellent wine recommendations. The starters and main courses were exceptional, with special mention for the "beef in armor" and the "scallops under pressure." We had a wonderful time in a refined setting.

16/06/2025: Fantastic, the only restaurant that was open in this area. Eat what the pot provides. A menu for everyone, salad, farmer's chicken, some cheese and fruit. Really recommended.

30/11/2025: We had a great time on November 30th with the show, "Ce soir c'est show" (Tonight's the show). We laughed a lot.

09/11/2025: A fantastic evening with excellent actors. Bravo! You absolutely must go to the café-theater on the Rocher side! It was my second time there and it won't be my last.

11/04/2026: I was there with the friend who posted the previous review on Saturday, March 21st, and I unfortunately confirm this deplorable experience. Beyond the cleanliness of the table, it was the waiter's behavior that was particularly shocking: we were greeted with unjustified verbal aggression, and this in front of a 4-year-old child. Such a lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable in the restaurant industry. It's regrettable to see that the establishment seems to neglect its local clientele. My in-laws had already been treated very poorly in the past and ended up avoiding the place. It's a shame, because a business can't rely solely on tourist traffic to maintain its reputation. We won't be returning.

26/03/2026: Simple, efficient cuisine, but sometimes the portions are a little small. Considering the price of the menu, it's hard to complain.

11/03/2026: An absolutely incredible stay at Lodges du Mas de Nadal. The location is magnificent, surrounded by nature, ideal for recharging and disconnecting from everyday life. The lodges are comfortable, very well-appointed, and the glamping experience is truly unique. The managers are lovely and incredibly attentive to their guests, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. You immediately feel welcomed with genuine warmth. Special mention also goes to the restaurant, which is excellent! The dishes are delicious and perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the place. A wonderful discovery that I wholeheartedly recommend. I can't wait to go back!

23/10/2025: We stayed there as a school group during a stage of the Camino de Santiago. Everything was great: the service, the food, the very complete and generous breakfast, the staff. We found a lot of comfort and reassurance there. The staff gave us very pleasant feedback on the young people in the group, which also contributed to our spiritual comfort. Once again, a big thank you to our hosts.

22/10/2025: Thank you to the new managers for welcoming 2 pilgrims at nightfall... Location not far from the center and shops, ideally located opposite the police station, perfect for bikers, who will be welcomed by an enthusiast... The kindness and help you gave us greatly helped us but above all touched us a lot. Rest well this winter and don't change anything for the 2026 season :-).

19/12/2025: We were just passing through and what a pleasant surprise! We had a great time: good food, friendly waitress, nice setting (we were in the veranda), parking right next door, accessible for people with reduced mobility.

14/10/2025: Lovely place five minutes from the main freeway. Good food, a real espresso machine, snacks and cheeses and baguettes (+ ice creams) and clean ADA accessible bathrooms. Very nice owners who helped by letting us speak English instead of our terrible French. Lunch kitchen closes for prepared meals after 2ish, but there are snacks and foods to buy off the shelves along with beer/wine/cocktails if someone else is driving. Easy parking where you can see the car from your table. Definitely the center of a tiny village across from the church.

31/10/2025: In this pretty little village, an oasis has been planted... well, almost a pizzeria... but not just any pizzeria, a local institution with pizzas from all corners of France and the world. We love it.

14/04/2026: The service is very slow. They tell us there aren't enough staff, yeah right, it's our fault, great.

05/04/2026: The place is nice, but the food is very greasy and of average quality. The fries were reheated, and the duck breast was definitely frozen (a shame for the region). The prices are a bit high for the quality.
