15/12/2023: Triste expérience!!!! , nous arrivons à midi , pas de chauffage nous avons eu très froid aperitif servi sans amuses bouche , plat servi a peine chauds , légumes pas cuits et nous apprenons par des clients tout aussi mécontents que le patrons est parti et qu'il laisse les serveuses en cuisine , sans aucune formation culinaire , les pauvres ont fait ce qu'elles ont pu pour sauver la situation alors qu'elles se faisaient rouspéter par les clients , vraiment payer le menu a ce prix là pour aucune qualité c'est du vol . 2 fois déçus dans ce restaurant , nous n'y remettrons jamais les pieds .

13/08/2024: Simple healthy and good Simple cuisine with a menu that sums up (or almost) the dish of the day. For less than €10 a hearty dish, well cooked like at home with fresh produce. 5* for this friendly little address that quickly fills up.

06/08/2024: What a magnificent taste experience. The burger: ultra-soft and delicious ground meat. The server was very professional, super friendly and incredibly kind. I'm Belgian and we stop saying that the French aren't nice, it's false! I have been on vacation for 9 days and it was difficult to return to my country. I will come back on my next vacation.

17/08/2024: While in Cherbourg for the holidays, we ordered a takeaway pizza from this restaurant. Very warm welcome and delicious flavors. We are delighted with our pizza.

04/08/2024: Great Pizzeria for takeaway only. The dough is super thin and all the pizzas are tasty. The welcome is great and always smiling. Don't hesitate to try the experience.

16/09/2024: It's not my habit to leave a review on Google but I have to recommend the auberge des tisserand to you. We went there to get together around a good meal to celebrate our union in a small group. The manager is a very warm and very professional person, we put together a menu with him, trusting him 100%, and we had a great time! Our expectations were far exceeded. The boss (Carl) surprised us by privatizing the entire hostel. The organization, communication, service and advice on wine pairings were really perfect throughout the process. The value for money and the atmosphere at the hostel.

09/08/2024: A Norman restaurant that is worth the detour. Attentive and quality service. We were well received. The waiters make you feel good and have a good time with your family. The cozy atmosphere of an English pub. There is music and a grand piano. A very nice vintage decoration. The food is excellent and careful. A good address in a charming little village. I highly recommend you.

08/12/2024: How can I put it? We left the restaurant completely satisfied. We received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent. Stuffed squid and sweetbreads, and sea bass for my wife... Cheese and dessert. I highly recommend it, and it was our first time eating here, so no favoritism here... Thank you.

13/06/2024: Auberge traditionnelle normande, nous n'y étions pas revenus depuis la covid. Tout était parfait : un service au cordeau, des plats très élégants et délicieux, une ambiance conviviale et familiale, un vrai bonheur partagé en famille et avec des amis, je recommande fortement cette belle table située juste en face du château de Gratot.

16/04/2025: Snout bought today industrial quality at full price, last time inedible cucumbers!! Constantly declining in quality and the boss is there to screw the nails in the coffin: "ah the cucumbers weren't good? At the same time it's not complicated to make cucumbers in salad"!!! A customer for 30 years, this was my last visit. 👏👏👏

05/07/2024: We went there 3 times, it was 3 bad experiences. The welcome is terrible, the owner makes us understand that as there are people it wasn't going to be easy, (= we're in the way!). like that the 3 times! Entrances are self-service: normal for a trucker, but the work materials are first price. For the dishes, it's meh too, once the owner who took our order, asking us not to hang around, made a mistake, we asked for fries instead of beans. But when the dishes arrived there were beans, so she offered us a plate of fries on the side, OK, but when it was time to pay she charged us for them! in short, the worst truck driver in the area, I even recommend going a few hundred meters extra to go to a (non-road) restaurant in town in Valognes, it won't be more expensive and much better with a respectable welcome. We are disappointed because seeing the people in this restaurant, we hoped that it would be good, even after 2 mediocre attempts we decided to give this restaurant a 3rd chance, but it was even worse...

16/07/2024: Accueil très sympathique, tant de la patronne à l'accueil du bar que de la serveuse en salle. Ambiance familiale, soucieux du bien être du client, toujours un petit mot pour demander si ça va. La serveuse décrit tellement bien le plat du jour qu'elle vous met l'eau à la bouche ! L'escalope de volaille gratinée au maroilles, crème et gruyère était excellente ! Le rapport qualité est pris est plus que raisonnable ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
