19/08/2024: Quite simply the best waffles I have ever eaten in my life. It saddens me to see people criticize the food just because they haven't understood the real point of going for Galichon: its waffle.
17/08/2024: Excellent, already everything is closed in the area in the middle of summer, thank you for staying open until 10 p.m. maybe the kebab experts find the taste a little different but it was good, not expensive, and pleasant. I never leave reviews but I find this 3 unfair 😉👌

01/08/2024: Very cozy place with a large lake and indoor pool, petanque area and a cozy little restaurant. However, they only accepted cash, so be careful to bring cash. They are not very good at English, but they try and they are super nice. Will definitely come and visit them again....
28/07/2024: Magnificent manor and beautiful green spaces: very beautiful trees and two ponds, one smaller and bucolic with beautiful dragonflies, and the other, larger, surrounded by geese and ducks, with pedal boats.

24/08/2024: Premier dîner en juin, rien à dire. Retour en août avec l'intention de passer une bonne soirée. Mes amis ont pris du poisson et des moules, j'ai pris la bûchette de porc au miel et thym. DÉCEPTION ! C'était un énorme bout de porc, tellement sec ! Et le tout accompagné d'une plâtrée de frites. Pas de disposition dans l'assiette, même pas un petit légume: assiette de cantine. J'ai interpellé le serveur en disant que comme c'est sec, j prendrai bien un peu de salade pour éviter de m'étouffer : elle n'est jamais arrivée.
Du coup, pas fini mon assiette, pas payé. Heureusement le gérant a été compréhensif, contrairement au cuisto qui est intervenu en gueulant que JAMAIS sa viande était sèche.
Du coup ben...on ne reviendra pas.

Just a small downside for me, the ice trays should be a little more often damaged.
But, I will go back anyway.
09/09/2024: While passing through Avranches, we stopped at this restaurant, it will be the first and last time!
Deplorable hygiene (dirty and sticky plates, waiter who comes out of the toilet by just running his hands under water without soap, wok cook who smokes then serves the customer without washing his hands, dirty and smelly toilets...)
Tasteless food, everything was bland and overcooked or reheated...
We are used to this type of buffet and were very disappointed to pay so much not to enjoy Asian cuisine...
I do not recommend!!!

28/11/2024: El Roosevelt Café es un pozo práctico - parada cuando usted está explorando las playas de la Segunda Guerra Mundial D - Día. Se encuentra en Utah Beach, la playa más occidental y menos turística, por lo que las opciones de comida y bebida son escasas por aquí y es el único café en la playa en sí.
Está bien si solo necesitas una bebida y un sustento simple y hay asientos tanto dentro como en el área exterior cubierta.
La atracción principal aquí no es la comida, sino el santuario - como la decoración. Las paredes están cubiertas de fotos, banderas y recuerdos, los maniquíes están vestidos con uniforme estadounidense, recreando las escenas de 1944. Uno incluso se apoya contra la barra con una cerveza en la mano.
El edificio en sí jugó su papel en la guerra y estuvo en pleno uso antes y después de los aterrizajes del Día D. Originalmente una cabaña de pescadores, fue utilizada como sede para la organización Todt alemana (una unidad de ingeniería civil y militar). Después del Día D, fue tomado por los EE.UU. El Grupo de Comunicación de la Brigada Especial de Ingenieros de Calle 1 del Ejército y ellos corrieron comunicaciones desde aquí. Cuidado con el pequeño búnker al costado del edificio. Estaba cerrado cuando estábamos allí, pero creo que a veces está abierto al público.

15/09/2024: First and last time for us in this Mac do and for good reason:
Error in our order, we asked for a double cheese bacon without onion and without mustard, but we received a normal sanwinch. We are going to kindly and politely ask for a complaint and we are completely sent to shit like trash by the lady at the cash register (a bit tough with brain hair, tattoos and piercings), who will throw the 2 burgers in the trash each time by touching her. elsewhere and without washing your hands afterwards.
It took 2 additional tries to FINALLY get our order, unfortunately it was cold.
My partner was lucky enough to have a Big Mac, but without anything on the top! Not bad, it’s almost art at this level.
And what’s more, it’s expensive!
Mac must flee and quickly.

16/07/2024: Good little wines, small fish rillettes from the Saumonerie de Granville, always very good, and local oysters and whelks (when there are any left) for fans and of course the view of Chausey.
If the selection is good (but it's not cuisine), the service is random depending on whether you are in the style of the house or not. You have to remember that this is more of an address for local hipsters and friends of the bosses, even if you have to admit that the atmosphere is nice, especially on concert evenings, provided you can get served.
Most of the time you have to make a reservation, at least that's what we hear especially when it's almost full and groups with a much lower average age than mine are waiting...
It is true that the place is small, but a customer remains a customer and since it is not a private club there should not be any selection at the entrance, however that is what we might be tempted to think when we look at how the tables are assigned.
No drinks menu (curious), so you have to go to the bar and therefore leave your stuff behind in the summer (meh) at the risk of getting burned out since all the tables are out on the terrace and places are rare.
And finally we wait, we wait, we wait... an organization (sic) which is strange to say the least and the big semaphore-like gestures to get re-served are of no help since the waitress is never interested further than the table where it is located. So you have to go back to the bar every time.
Except perhaps to be one of the happy few recognized by the house?
Ultimately the portions are rather small and the prices almost Parisian, the service without being unpleasant is soulless.
Fortunately the setting is exceptional, but on the dike which of course offers the same view, there is also the bar of the restaurant of the Saint-Pair casino, there is also now the station (new for 2024) and of course the entire dike and the beach to improvise an aperitif with friends...
It's nice for the music, but I wouldn't wait hours to get a seat there.
27/05/2024: Too expensive for the quantity I had in my glass of spritz, oh so many ice cubes.... I thought the glasses were supposed to contain a certain dose!!!
