26/09/2024: Traditional French restaurant with very well made food and a huge selection of Champagne. A bit cramped but neatly managed. You usually have to make a reservation to get a seat.

08/12/2025: Perfectly suited for our late night in Epernay, they accepted a late reservation (with a call about 30min ahead) and were incredibly warm and welcoming. Food was exceptional! Escargot and cod were magical 💕

06/04/2025: Nous avions decouvert cet endroit lors d'un passage il y a un an et nous y avions garde un excellent souvenir, de retour dans la region nous y sommes retournes. Ambiance bistro tres agreable, les serveuses souriantes, rapides, de bons conseils sur les plats et les vins, le patron qui passe vous voir, Tout est parfait, ce fut un bon moment et surtout le repas etait excellent.

24/11/2024: A success that does not surprise me: impeccable cuisine, without forgetting the attention given to customers. We see that the restaurateurs and their team love their job! We have a good time there and the prices remain affordable compared to comparable establishments. Obviously, the reputation of this address requires reservations.

08/12/2025: I say yes. So, open on Sundays. Thank you. Very professional. They didn't hesitate to set a place setting for two to share the foie gras. Thank you. The foie gras was very good, and the little brioche was excellent. Other restaurants don't even offer a second place setting, so you have to ask and they bring you a fork and a knife, but the plate shouldn't be too decorated... The bread basket was immediately refilled, no need to ask. For dessert, nothing is missing: spoon, fork, knife. Well done. Yes, it's very important; it has to be as good as at home. I give it 10/10. We had the kidneys, which were good. Dessert: profiteroles. You can have one, two, or three, it's up to you. I really have no negative comments. See you soon.

05/12/2025: A wonderful discovery at L’Œil de Bœuf. The meats are expertly prepared, the portions generous, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The service is pleasant, even if occasionally a little slow. A reliable restaurant in Épernay that I wholeheartedly recommend.

08/07/2025: Great delicious refined food, fast and friendly service, overall very good experience. If there’s one thing that could be better, the only thing we could think of was the bread which was not completely on point. But the rest was really great! Can absolutely recommend this place!

06/07/2025: We had a dinner for two in the nice wine cellar. We started with a cheese and charcuterie platter which was a nice way to start. For the main course we had the steak tartar and the hamburger, which were both really good (especially price quality wise). For the desserts we had the crème brûlée and the French toast, which I’d definitely recommend. We had a bottle of wine which was decent for 34 euros but by googling this the wholesale price was roughly 8-10 euros so this is an okay deal. The staff was really nice even for mwah french speakers. even making some jokes and trying to talk english.
