The waitstaff is incredibly pleasant and perfectly conveys the passion, heart, and talent that the chef pours into each dish. Attentive service without being overbearing, exquisite and refined cuisine, and a truly perfect wine selection. 20/09/2024: While in Montpellier for a few hours, we discovered Anga via the Michelin website and decided the day before our visit to reserve a table for lunch there. The experience was truly flawless from start to finish, from the room, to the service and of course the kitchen... everything was impeccable. Excellent products offered with technique and a very beautiful finish on the plate, you will have something for your taste buds I assure you. Served in the dining room by Valentin and his good humor, he took great care throughout the lunch in addition to providing very good advice on wine. The concept of the restaurant with a local and environmentally conscious approach is also a real plus which allows it to stand out. All with excellent value for money. I can only recommend this address if you want to get away from it all for a moment.

The atmosphere was calm and cozy, exactly what you need to enjoy the different dishes. A great time.

04/12/2025: Very disappointed with the evening of Wednesday, December 3rd. The package was excellent, however, a bachata group came to celebrate a birthday. The DJ played bachata and salsa until 10:30 PM. The dance group monopolized the dance floor, making it impossible to dance in pairs; even the Kiwi group couldn't dance, and neither could my partner or I. We've been coming for almost four years, sometimes with groups of 4 or more (13 or 14 people), drinks and package or meal included. Yesterday, we left the patio at 10:30 PM, instead of the usual 12:30 AM. Some of our friends (out of the 14) didn't want to come anymore and changed clubs; they were too disappointed with the music or the food. This is the first time I've left so early. B. Patrick

09/12/2025: Delighted with our lunch. Excellent cuisine based on top-quality ingredients. The Arctic char and octopus were truly superb. Very good service. The waiter was very friendly. The setting was understated and pleasant. Nice wine list. It's worth noting that the waiter offered tastings to help with the selection. Well done! He also gave good advice. One minor drawback: the price of the wines by the glass is far too high. They probably subscribe to the rule that the first glass pays for the bottle. That's a significant markup. For a wine bar, that's a shame. Hence the 4 stars.

And when we finished our meal, it was such a pleasure to chat about wine and leave with a local gem! Our only regret? Not being from the region!
