Les meilleurs restaurants en Lille

11/04/2024: In Lille over an April weekend to watch Paris Roubaix. Le Pot Beaujolais (situated just off the main square) was our choice for a Friday evening meal. We walked past the restaurant en route to our accommodation and it jumped out at us - it looks like the sort of restaurant you'd find in rural France, rather than in the middle of a city. Having just arrived in the town, we had no reservation but the very friendly staff found us a table. Dishes are traditional French (steaks, andouillette, stew). I planned to order the Pot au feu but it wasn't available so settled on a delicious Pike quenelle in leek fondue. The charcuterie/cheese board we shared as a starter was also good, as was the apple pie for dessert. It's very easy in Lille to find a chain restaurant or modern bistro, particularly in the centre of town. It's probably harder to find a 'little gem' - Le Pot Beaujolais is definitely the latter.

21/09/2024: Very nice discovery of this Lille pizzeria which stands out for the finesse of its dishes, the quality of the products used (predominantly fresh and organic) and a contemporary decor. We had calzonne pizzas and we really enjoyed it! The dough is divinely supple, crispy and soft and the filling is hearty. We will come back with pleasure!

26/09/2024: By giving 1 star the post is not published... let's see if by putting 5 it will be published....More than disappointing. Poor service. The aperitif comes after the main course. You have to ask for bread and it keeps you waiting. On the other hand, to clear it much more quickly, we stumble upon the glass of wine which filled the plate of the person who has not finished eating.... an inappropriate gesture to clear it when everyone is still eating. Well they replaced the dish but eating alone then isn't the best. In addition, refuses to seat us on the terrace but at the very back of the restaurant. Our backpacks were perhaps in the way.... To avoid and flee even if the food is good... An atmosphere between the waiters very well felt by the customers. Only one was worthy to serve. I do not recommend it if you want to eat in peace and enjoy your aperitif and main course.

17/09/2024: Gérant très gentil, des nems exceptionnelles !! Et un porc caramel fabuleux ! Je recommande grandement cette superbe établissemen !

18/12/2023: Cet hôtel ne mérite pas 4 étoiles (ni sur sa façade ni dans ces avis). Les équipements ont vieilli, le petit-dej est très basique, et surtout ils se permettent de mener de grands travaux pendant la présence des clients et ce dès le matin. C'est un défaut de professionnalisme et de respect inadmissible pour un hôtel qui se prétend de cette gamme. L'hôtel est en transition entre Crowne et Hilton, soit, mais alors il faut le fermer le temps des travaux et assumer le manque à gagner. Je n'y retournerai pas, quelle que soit la chaîne dont il fait partie.

16/12/2023: Assez déçue de cet hôtel testé pour une nuit lors d'un déplacement professionnel... Les + : localisation proche des gares / la literie / le petit déjeuner. Les - : chambres vieillottes et vétustes qui méritent un bon rafraîchissement (surtout la salle de bain). Si j'ai bien compris, l'hôtel a été racheté et devrait être rénové... ce qui est nécessaire !

14/12/2025: A truly terrible welcome, no hello or goodbye, the staff were extremely unpleasant, and I mean it. Selling six small kibbles for €9 is unacceptable, but to be disrespectful on top of that is just ridiculous! 😠

04/12/2025: Discovered Les Deux Cocottes at the Christmas market. What can I say… a frosty atmosphere, an unpleasant waitress. €11 for a measly tray of sliced ​​potatoes and a Mont d'Or sauce. This so-called sauce was nothing more than cheap cream; the dish had no flavor whatsoever, and the only hint of cheese I tasted was just two tiny pieces of rind.

25/08/2024: Toujours aussi parfait le vin est frais les plats sont chauds le personnel très agréable et le cadre très élégant. 2 ème expérience réussie

01/12/2024: ¡Horrible experiencia! Encontré un pelo en mi ensalada y lo marqué. No se dan disculpas. 5 minutos después encontré otro pelo en mi crepé. Lo señalé de nuevo al dueño. Ella tomó el plato y dijo "no es un pelo, es un pelo de pincel"! Le dije que era un pelo de verdad y entonces ella respondió groseramente "no puede pasar, están todos afeitados abajo". El pelo venía del interior del crepé. Aún no hay disculpas. Después de 5 minutos me dijeron que compraría un crepé nuevo. ¡Ese nuevo crespón nunca llegó y tuve que decirles que no se molestaran! Muy malos métodos de higiene y dueño extremadamente grosero!

15/11/2024: La personne nous ayant servi est très agréable et très professionnelle. Elle discute sans déranger le repas et aime son travail L’emplacement de notre table ( dans le couloir d’entrée ) n’était pas top car nous sommes souvent bousculé par le passage incessant. La crêpe n’est ni très bonne ni très mauvaise, je pense qu’elle pourrait être nettement meilleure . Ça ne sera pas une expérience inoubliable

23/09/2024: Le personel est très accueillant les spécialités locales y sont proposés j y ai passé un agréable moment J y ai découvert la carbonade flamande Malgré une arrivée tardive j ai ete très bien accueilli

19/09/2024: A fuir !!!! Passez votre chemin, quiche immangeable servie froide aucune saveur, de l’industriel congelé. Une poignée de salade servie n’importe Comment. Vue l’ ampleur du désastre nous n’avons pas testé les déserts. Problème d’ hygiène, nous avons tous été malades. Patron très désagréable!
