20/06/2026: I've been to this bakery several times. Despite the often dirty restrooms, the numerous fruit flies while eating, and what I find disappointing value for money, I kept going back mainly because it was the only bakery in Lille I knew with a space large enough to sit down and work. I should clarify that it's not the price that bothers me: I regularly frequent establishments where the prices are equivalent, or even higher, but where the service is impeccable and the quality of the products fully justifies the price. The impression is that everything is done to cut costs as much as possible, at the expense of service quality and customer comfort. Yesterday, a young woman with light, wavy hair spoke to me in a particularly aggressive and unpleasant manner. At first, I was shocked by the way she spoke to me. After a few seconds, I realized it was the same employee who had spoken to me very inappropriately several months earlier. This time, I decided not to let the situation go and asked her why she was speaking to me that way. Instead of answering, she became even more aggressive. I simply pointed out that the situation was going way too far and that there was clearly a problem with how she spoke to customers. The tone escalated, and she ended up insulting me. Unbelievable. It was impossible to speak to a manager. I do, however, thank Melissa (short, with dark hair), who tried to calm things down and completely understood the problem. She explained that she and the other employee were tired and in the middle of exams. I don't consider that a valid excuse, especially since it was the second time. Many students and young people in France, myself included, work year-round while pursuing their studies, often experiencing fatigue and stress, yet they do not gratuitously disrespect those they serve. Never again.

20/06/2026: First experience eating lunch there. Very good value for money for the sandwich, drink, and dessert deal.

20/08/2026: Wait a minute, this for 10.50? Seriously, once is enough! There was practically no meat in the sandwich. They need to stop treating the French like fools. The only positive thing I can say about the service was that the waitress was friendly enough.

25/05/2026: Warm welcome, fast service, a very good snack if you're really hungry, I highly recommend it.

18/08/2026: Excellent brunch with original recipes that are a refreshing change from the usual fare! Special mention to the bissap, a truly wonderful discovery. I highly recommend this place!

05/08/2026: I'm Japanese. I came to eat gaufres. The shop has lots of sweets like chocolate and caramel. I bought several boxes of caramel as souvenirs. There was a Korean staff member who could speak a little Japanese, which was reassuring. The gaufres had a flavor I'd never tasted before, but they were so light that they disappeared in no time. They're not heavy, so you can eat them while walking. You can buy them one at a time. Please enjoy them!

02/08/2026: Considered an institution by many, I was extremely disappointed by my experience: I've never eaten such bad marshmallows in my life! And don't even get me started on the vanilla-filled waffles—they tasted of oil and mustiness, and the dough was incredibly elastic. They went straight in the bin; avoid them at all costs! As for the service, we encountered unfriendly and inconvenient staff (they refused to accept cash)!

16/07/2026: Thank you to Auréliane and Kylian for the warm welcome. They were pleasant, smiling, and helpful. They managed to make me forget, for a moment, the shock of the awful hotel room. I was very disappointed; it was a nightmare—old, dirty, without air conditioning, and noisy… I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The dishes were beautifully presented.

14/06/2026: We had a wonderful family evening celebrating a graduation. The setting is exceptional, with a warm atmosphere and a fantastic pianist. The welcome was excellent, with high-quality, refined service. The menu was limited in number, but the dishes were all excellent! The wine list offered something for every budget, which isn't always the case. We had a very enjoyable evening and highly recommend it.

17/06/2026: I'm really disappointed with the direction this store has taken in the last few months... The atmosphere is deteriorating, the wait at the checkout is getting longer and longer, and to top it all off, I no longer see the young woman named Doriane who used to work the till. I learned they didn't keep her on at the end of her contract—it's incredibly stupid! You're losing your best employees while the store is getting worse and worse. Anyway, I'm going to start shopping elsewhere.

18/07/2026: Ordered via Uber Eats. Very good. Minor issue with the temperature (the soup was next to the sushi) but nothing serious.

14/07/2026: Ideally located restaurant, opposite Lille Flandres train station. I stopped there during a layover. Quick service, good maki rolls, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. I'll be back! 👌

13/06/2026: I used to order from them regularly, and I always loved it. Today is the second order that's arrived incomplete… couscous with meatballs without meatballs isn't very good. It's the second time in two months. Two €50 orders down the drain…

15/06/2026: I go there often, it's a classic kebab. Nothing fancy, I've never gotten sick or anything, good service, friendly staff.
