21/09/2024: Dear chip shop, First time the fries are finished. PETITE FRITE, well-deserved title. Good products, but ultimately only fried products... sold overpriced... You might as well go a few kilometers further, for similar products but not at the same price. PLEASE NOTE, don’t forget the 30 cents for draft beer because even for an order of €100, there will be no gift. However, friendly and pleasant staff, clean and maintained place. At this price, Victor Hugo responds to Bigot. We will still have eaten well and it will have inspired us, for this evening, the 4 stars are deserved. (and no paper restaurant tickets accepted)

03/08/2024: Their pizzas are to die for, generous, light and well puffed dough so for us it is the best even though I have a long way to go see them we are never disappointed. Best pizzas in Valenciennes. 👍

09/10/2024: Honestly, I love the restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing, but unfortunately the prices keep going up. It's really disgusting for a brand that was originally intended for students.

01/09/2024: The welcome is super friendly and the service is fast and efficient. We had a very pleasant time. Their fries are delicious because in Valenciennes it is difficult to find fresh fries! But recently the alcohol has been diluted strangely with ice cubes, there are no small profits...

27/08/2024: The atmosphere was okay, quite intimate when there are few people. On a Thursday evening (9 p.m. to 10 p.m.), I would have expected more than just my duo and another group of 2 people. The place is very small on the other hand, a wheelchair would not fit, or with difficulty. The service was okay too. Not the best of the best but the person serving remained cordial, polite and kind. For cooking, a simple pasta dish and a simple pizza were taken. It was delicious, no complaints about the quantity. For desserts, a (dark) chocolate cake and a tiramisu. Same, delicious as can be and not heavy. Regarding the drinks, they were expensive. €4 for orange juice from a glass bottle, €4.50 for a coke also from a glass bottle. Not sure it's worth this price. In the end, still a good experience. I might come back.

27/05/2024: I reserved a table for 10 people for a surprise birthday and frankly everything went impeccably. I thank the servers for their complicity and their availability. Hats off also to the chef for his excellent dishes. Everything was perfect from aperitif to dessert!!! In short, I recommend

26/02/2025: your explanations for your closure are more than risky you know very well that the covid crisis plus the economic crisis plus the transformation of the Place d'Arme into a pedestrian zone which caused the surrounding businesses to lose 40% of their customers plus the closure of the Passage des Flanders on December 3 completed the disaster in just 3 months 10 license 4 establishments (bars bistros restaurants) closed for bankruptcy! in Valenciennes you are the 10th and everyone noted this so as not to incriminate the municipal team when it is the turn of the SET I wonder how you will react! note: responding to a dissatisfied customer the day before the permanent closure of the establishment that you are going to improve the table service is at the highest level!

19/08/2024: We went to this restaurant based on a review…but we were really disappointed! Very slow service (more than 1h30 of waiting) to receive our cold dishes and the quantities let's not talk about it...Nothing extraordinary!

23/08/2024: Pizza Toto Bistro is an address not to be missed, to eat pizzas made the old-fashioned way by a boss and especially cooked over a wood fire... Very well stocked for all recipes and what a PLEASURE to be able to STILL eat such QUALITY of PIZZAS in Valenciennes!!! I highly recommend this establishment to have a good time with family or friends...

04/08/2024: Following my one-year review I am modifying following our return for a third time. Disappointed, the quality of the prime rib, very nervous and on cooking, very friendly waitress, but another less desire to work without smiling, perhaps less paid?!! We order our dishes and after an hour a disaster. Omissions on our dish, instead of new potatoes, fries, and others... and a little digression on the Irish gourmand at 15 euros, I didn't expect so little... However, I was super excited I recommended this quality restaurant for meat to my parents-in-law but... What's happening? In a year's time the card changed, of mediocre quality, without being mistaken when I see the reviews from last week or these last months. Have you changed cooks? Servers? I'm still waiting for a response, I'm supposed to invite a couple of friends for meat, real meat with real cooking. Or not... (My Review from last year) A massacre ! Meat cooked to order 👌 rare, or blue (a chef!) I could have given 5 stars but... (The price...) To do again 😜

18/09/2024: L’endroit sympa mais pas assez organiser avec les employés, le service du midi une seule personne malgré le monde et le soir 4 personnes sachant qu’il y’a peu de monde. Pourtant le service du midi l’employé montre un travail acharné.

08/08/2024: Very well served and very well received this Thursday as always, the servers very pleasant and accommodating, especially Anicet and the two Louis. I highly recommend.

27/08/2024: Tried a caramel pork... Really not good. The pork there are 5 pieces and it is dry, ultra dry, it lacks simmering and marinade before cooking. I imagine there are good things on the menu but I strongly advise against the caramel pork. The waitress is alone in the room and struggles as best she can.

28/08/2024: We are pushed to hurry to eat to make room. The 2 waitresses work like crazy and 1 waiter was very busy. He passed by the table 3 times and saw that we had finished but preferred to carry his carafe of water around... Basic dishes. Pizza with a lot of crust and minimal toppings.... We've had better.... On the other hand, order a bottle of champagne and there are 4 bees around the table.... All customers are equal and when we is disappointed we won't come back
