27/05/2026: A constantly renewed delight, this charming residence, with its unique and beautiful rooms, is located in the heart of Old Lyon. And that's coming from someone from Saint-Étienne (no less!).

28/05/2026: Discovered on TikTok, this bistro hosted my very first solo meal, and the experience was wonderful. The food is excellent, with a special mention for the braised beef chuck in porcini mushroom sauce, followed by a particularly varied and generous selection of gourmet coffees. Beyond the food, the staff is exceptionally kind, attentive, and very welcoming. You instantly feel enveloped by the warm atmosphere of a meal at your grandmother's house. A truly precious find.

02/03/2026: A nice pub that a friend introduced me to. We went there in the afternoon for a good beer while waiting for the concert we'd come to see at Tony Garnier. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, but it was still very pleasant. I'll definitely go back to this pub next time I'm in Lyon.

13/05/2026: We came for dinner last night, and we loved it! We had a really great time, the food was delicious, and we had a good laugh thanks to the chef who kept the atmosphere lively throughout the meal. If you have some time and want to spend an evening out of the ordinary, don't hesitate!

08/06/2026: A very warm welcome and a magnificent view of Lyon. Lunch was very good, beautifully presented. It's a shame we didn't fully understand what was being served. It's also a shame the table wasn't cleaned (bread crumbs, etc.) between courses, especially for a fine-dining restaurant. A thoughtful touch for my birthday.

12/05/2026: I was appalled by the appalling welcome we received from the two women at this ice cream shop on Sunday. I was surprised that they could be so unprofessional and inhumane. We wanted to buy an ice cream and a bottle of water around 9 pm, so we went to this Amorino. Not a single greeting (it was an embarrassed customer who finally said hello, believe it or not). So we walked up to the counter and waited, knowing that the previous customer had left and that we were the only ones left. And waited, and waited… until we realized that they weren't going to speak to us or serve us, and for no apparent reason. So we left, feeling like we were seriously bothering them. And of course, true to their nonexistent hospitality, they didn't even bother to say goodbye. Unbelievable. We thought we might have arrived at closing time, but not at all. They were simply too busy chatting amongst themselves. Luckily, the shopkeepers next door were normal and allowed us to end our evening on a positive note, because things had gotten off to a bad start.

07/05/2026: Limited selection but good products. However, the brunette manager with brown eyes is incredibly rude and lacks basic manners, making you want to leave without buying anything. She didn't even say hello, just blurted out: "Before you move forward, you need to choose a model," in a manner that was cold and pretentious to say the least. I looked at her, thanked her, and left. For your information, there were six of us who were potential customers, and we all went to a competitor. I feel sorry for the actual manager, who will surely give this young woman a good talking-to. 16/05/2026: ANTIPATHY, THEFT, SCAM Where to begin?... Despite everything that follows, the pizzas are good... but: The service is appalling, making the customer feel like they're bothering them. The order was 15 minutes late, without a word of apology, for no reason. The price charged was different from the price displayed (an extra €2 per pizza, without any attempt at self-reflection, and the change was given with monstrous disdain). And to top it all off, the pizzas are tiny, almost individual portions, and not even comparable in size to a frozen one from the store... (see photo) I do not recommend this pizzeria, which, in addition to being expensive, is neither punctual nor fair on price...

21/03/2026: We had a very good meal at Marmocchi. The pizza was delicious and the salads were very generous.

11/06/2026: We ordered cheese naan sandwiches. A very good choice, generous, perfectly spiced, and with excellent tandoori chicken. We recommend them.

31/05/2026: The starter and main course were delicious and very generous, the service was excellent, both in terms of wait time and the waiters and waitresses, especially Lila, who were very kind and pleasant. I highly recommend them. And dessert was also on the house.
