14/08/2026: Opening hours until 1:00. Arrived at 00:00, everything is closed and there is no place to sit outside.

09/04/2026: I stop there for a coffee from time to time, pleasant people and a nice place.

07/07/2026: Our breakfast experience was very disappointing. Breakfast was served until 10:00, so we arrived at 9:30, within the established timeframe. However, upon arrival, they were already clearing away almost everything. There were no utensils available, and we had to take a fork from a table that was already set for lunch so my son Agustín could eat his cereal. Furthermore, when we asked one of the waitresses for help, she responded rudely, giving the impression that we were bothering them by arriving "late," even though there were still 30 minutes until closing time. If the staff is unwilling to serve guests until 10:00, then they should adjust the breakfast hours. But if they announce that service ends at that time, they should keep the buffet fully stocked and provide the same level of service and friendliness until the very last minute.

19/07/2026: Fantastic experience, it had been a long time since I'd been... absolutely not disappointed, the ribs were amazing... And a very generous gourmet coffee, fast service and a pleasant waiter, flawless, I highly recommend it and will be back as soon as possible...

18/07/2026: I don't like posting negative reviews about restaurants, but the disappointment is real. Our visit to the Hippopotamus in Créteil last week was our last. The customer service, order taking, and overall service were far too slow. We arrived at 1 p.m. and didn't leave until 3 p.m., and it wasn't because the food was good—quite the opposite. The portions became ridiculously small compared to the price we ordered (even when ordering à la carte). We all asked for our meat to be cooked rare, but ours arrived medium-well. The hamburger on my order was even partially black. We didn't ask to exchange our meat because we had already waited long enough. So we ate it without any enjoyment. We paid and left quickly so as not to miss our movie. The waitress didn't even say a word to ask if everything was alright. I think they know that overall things aren't going well... It's a real shame because we loved this chain when we first discovered it in Paris 20 years ago. Hippopotamus isn't what it used to be. (Value for money, service, friendly atmosphere) PS: My daughter, who ordered a children's meal, didn't receive the little gift that was supposed to be included.

19/06/2026: I've been a regular for a long time, and the price-quality ratio suits me. However, the atmosphere in the restaurant is bad because of the delivery drivers who loiter inside and play videos on their phones through the speakerphone. As a result, we always get takeout, even though the interior is cute and the staff are very friendly. In fact, I think this is a common opinion because the dining room is always empty. It's a bit of a shame.

01/08/2026: Honestly, it's such a pleasure to come to this place! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The service (Guillaume) is incredible—professional and wonderfully kind. He should really learn how to ride a scooter! 😜😂🤦‍♂️🙏 Honestly, it's a perfect place, with respectful, friendly staff. The food is always excellent. I highly recommend it. 01/08/2026: We came for dinner as a party of four and had a wonderful time at La Fraternité. The food was delicious, but the real highlight was the staff! A huge thank you to our server: incredibly kind and truly hilarious, he created a fantastic atmosphere from beginning to end. It's such a pleasure to be greeted with such a smile and so much humor! A truly great place in Saint-Mandé where you eat well and have a great time. We'll definitely be back!

18/06/2026: A great place in Saint-Maur; the couple who run it are lovely. The prices are very reasonable, and whether you order takeout or eat in, everything is done quickly.

31/07/2026: Excellent food and a great atmosphere! The lemongrass chicken soup was incredible, and the beef in tamarind sauce was extraordinary. I rediscovered flavors I experienced during my travels in Asia, which is a completely different experience from other Thai restaurants in France. I highly recommend it!
