20/05/2026: Greek food with very, very, very little sauce, so extremely dry. The meat tastes like a load-bearing wall. The fries and raw vegetables are good. But for €8, eating a brick that's going to tear my ass apart isn't worth it.

15/06/2026: My partner and I ate at this restaurant today. The tandoori chicken was clearly not fresh; she became ill immediately after eating it (it had a strange taste) and couldn't continue the meal. We reported the problem to three different servers, asking for medication so she could feel better. Nothing was done to replace the buffet item. We had to leave in the middle of our meal, having paid full price. A complaint has been filed with the DGCCRF/hygiene department. We strongly advise against going to this restaurant. Edit following the restaurant owner's response: My partner became ill with the first plate, which wasn't even full; we're not talking about overindulgence here.

12/04/2026: The pizza was average, but what was most striking was the owner's unpleasant attitude. Luckily, the other waiter managed to save the day, as we were on the verge of leaving.

30/01/2026: The pizza was very good, however, I don't understand why this place only accepts cash, especially in 2026! They don't even accept restaurant vouchers.

29/12/2025: Discovered thanks to a friend whom I must thank, as it's truly a place worth the detour. Everything is perfect: the owner's warm welcome, friendly yet unpretentious; the restaurant and bar are spotless; and the restrooms, like the kitchen, are immaculate. The chef describes the dishes and offers to adapt them if needed. Finally, the bill is more than reasonable. I rarely write reviews, but this time I feel compelled because it's well deserved. Believe me, you'll be back!

18/05/2026: Excellent Asian caterer. Since the change of ownership, prices have gone up slightly and the flavors have changed a bit, but it's still very good. Impeccable service; the owner and manager are extremely kind and friendly. A very good place nonetheless.

01/05/2026: Not clean overall, dishes starting at €35 are overpriced, typically it should cost €27 max for a rib steak or picanha, but with a nice presentation, here it's done hastily, in the Portuguese style, it's far from what you'd expect for €35...

31/05/2026: After the McDonald's in Bonneuil, this one is second in terms of staff. They're all over the place. You order at the kiosk at noon, they don't pay until 1 p.m., by which time someone actually decides to work.

30/05/2026: This McDonald's is very modern, but they've removed all the electrical outlets. It's a real shame. You can see there used to be outlets, but they've been blocked off. It's not convenient when you want to charge your phone.

31/03/2026: A quick coffee break between appointments at Tabac de la Mairie, located right in the center of Charenton. It definitely does the job for a quick break at the counter: simple, efficient, no-nonsense service. It's a real neighborhood bar-tabac, with its usual atmosphere and regulars. The coffee is decent, nothing special, but exactly what you'd expect in this kind of place. Ideal for a quick stop, reading a newspaper, or grabbing a coffee before heading out again. In short, a tobacconist like any other, convenient and unsurprising, but it fulfills its purpose perfectly. 👍

14/12/2025: A classic French-style bar and tobacconist with very affordable, high-quality daily specials presented on a chalkboard. The waiters are seasoned professionals, very much in the Parisian "titi" style. You half expect to find Jean Lefèvre chatting at the bar!
