The food is excellent with unbeatable value for money, the owners are very kind and welcoming, and we felt right at home. It's a real blessing to have a restaurant like this in the Bourbonnais mountains. We can't wait to go back!

18/05/2026: A warm welcome, a spacious, cozy, and comfortable room. Excellent and carefully prepared meals, despite a last-minute booking for five people. The hotel is dog-friendly. We would gladly return.

18/07/2026: After reading other reviews, we must have just caught them on a bad day… The food itself was excellent, everything was perfect, as was the welcome from the owner! The problem was with the service: it took over 45 minutes to be served, and then we were told that a croque madame needed preparation (even though it was on the daily menu). This left us with the impression of a restaurant catering to regulars who order their food in advance, but not to passersby who are served after everyone else. It's a shame, as we came with very high expectations!

23/08/2026: A small, very good and inexpensive pizzeria in the city center. The owner is welcoming and always available. It's always a pleasure to go there. The pizzas are delicious, varied, and you can even choose the size from 26 to 60 centimeters.

16/09/2026: What can I say... The welcome was incredibly unpleasant, not a single smile from the person who seated us (the section manager in the black t-shirt). Avoid this place if you're in a hurry, as they told us there would be a 30-minute wait, with nothing to drink while we waited. After a 43-minute wait, when I finally got seated and ordered, they were out of the dish I wanted (this is the second time this has happened). It was the beginning of the month and Wednesday lunchtime. The stock and staff management are terrible. Plenty of empty seats, but no one was seated because there weren't enough servers. They need to hire more staff! After waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes, still nothing to eat, and not even what I wanted, so I was furious. The drinks arrived after the main course. When I went to complain at the counter, my colleague harshly criticized her fellow waitress, which I found very inappropriate and shameful, as she could have helped her or at least not belittled her in front of the other customers. IT WAS MUCH BETTER BEFORE ALL THE RENOVATIONS

16/09/2026: Honestly, the decor is nice, but the staff needs improvement. Upon arrival, we were told there would be a wait, but we barely had a sip of our aperitif before the main course arrived. The meat we ordered was rare, but it was served medium-rare, with black grill marks all over it, and it wasn't tender at all. The Roquefort sauce was watered down. The waiter was rushed; when we asked for salt and pepper, he made it very clear that we were bothering him. And the dessert? Well, let me tell you, it was disappointing. The "café gourmand" was terrible. We won't be going back to this Buffalo Grill. Avoid it at all costs and go to another Buffalo Grill instead.

09/08/2026: We arrived at 8 pm. There was no one in the dining room, and no one on the terrace as they didn't have air conditioning. We sat on the terrace, and the owner took a long time to take our order, making us feel like we were bothering her. Fortunately, the dishes we ordered were excellent. You can go there for the food, but not for the service.

08/08/2026: Honestly, not great, and what's more, you order a vodka and you get lychee... and not everything on the menu is available... frankly, I don't recommend it.

31/08/2026: Yesterday's competition was sponsored by La Cave du Pond des Notre. A mixed format so everyone could enjoy it. The course was a bit dry, but it's still August and we've had a very hot summer! However, the greens were still in good condition. Above all, there was a fantastic, very friendly atmosphere. Congratulations to the sponsor and all the golf club teams.

08/08/2026: The crepes are delicious and well-filled, both sweet and savory. We especially loved the lemon crepe, truly excellent! The ingredients are top-quality. The place is small and cozy, and the owner is very kind and made us feel at home. Prices are reasonable, excellent value.

31/07/2026: Good crêperie in the Passage Clémenceau. Note that they don't accept credit cards. It's best to book in advance, I think.

14/09/2026: The chef wasn't there, but they offered us food anyway, and frankly, it was disgusting, appalling, a disgrace to serve that. And no compensation whatsoever.

05/09/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I bought a Caesar salad, and when I went to eat it, the salad was absolutely rotten, there's no other way to describe it. I took it home, and the two staff members were insulting, telling me it was normal because the dressing had cooked the salad, except the dressing is in a separate container. I asked the staff member to eat it if it looked fresh, and he said he could but refused. Unbelievable! When I told them I would never set foot in their establishment again, the cashier replied, "With pleasure." 😡 They didn't offer me a refund, a credit note, or even a replacement. I take my hat off to Patapain and its staff! Rude staff who sell unsanitary products and are thieves because they don't offer any alternatives.

30/08/2026: Reservation canceled by text message this morning, impossible to contact the restaurant We had booked a table for lunch this Sunday, August 30th, at 12:30 PM. This morning, we received a terse text message informing us that the restaurant would be unable to honor our reservation, without any explanation or apology. Worse still, it's impossible to reach them by phone or text message to get any clarification or an alternative. Such a lack of professionalism and respect for customers is unacceptable, especially for an establishment that claims to be reputable. We had to improvise a last-minute alternative, which ruined our day. Avoid this place if you value a stress-free experience.

30/08/2026: Very disappointed! The setting was quite pleasant, but the service was sloppy and the bill was hard to swallow! On the other hand, the portions were so tiny that digesting them was no problem at all. 🤣
