05/06/2026: AN EXCEPTIONAL PLACE! I find it hard to believe that some people aren't satisfied. I've been an international truck driver for almost forty years, and I don't remember ever seeing anything this good! It's reminiscent of the Macon truck stop in the 90s, which unfortunately closed a long time ago. Here, everything is done for us. There's everything a truck driver could possibly need and even more!! A TOTAL and AS24 diesel station, a huge, clean, and secure parking lot, spacious and spotless restrooms, a real truck shop with everything you need, an automatic car wash, They've thought of everything! There are even some very friendly animals. And then there's the restaurant: a single choice of starters, and unlimited hot dishes, it's fresh, it's delicious, the staff are friendly, etc., etc.! I really can't find anything to criticize about this fantastic establishment, and I'm truly surprised that some people don't share my opinion. Then we complain that there's nothing left for us truckers, and when we find a gem like this, we find something to criticize. I don't understand. In any case, I recommend this place 300%!

15/06/2026: The service was far too slow; we had to ask for our aperitif after 30 minutes. The duck leg, cooked at low temperature, was burnt to a crisp, and the homemade mashed potatoes were just mushy potatoes. The homemade fruit salad looked like it came straight from a can of Saint Mamet fruit. The bread was stale! And to top it all off, they handed us the cutlery. Avoid at all costs.

14/06/2026: Very nice place, Ezera is very polite and attentive to the customer. The food is very good and of good quality.

29/05/2026: I don't know what the food was like, since we arrived at 1:50 PM and they told us they weren't serving us anymore, even though they close at 3:00 PM and the tables weren't occupied. We went out of our way for an hour for nothing. Disappointing.

24/05/2026: During our bike ride, we had the pleasure of having lunch at the Saint-Hubert bistro today. A warm welcome, a delicious meal, and excellent value for money. Fellow cyclists, we highly recommend this establishment... and we have no doubt that the warm welcome and delicious food are for everyone... A must-try lunch break!

14/05/2026: But what a gem! I had the chance to rediscover Cambodian cuisine, and I was incredibly surprised. Just remember to bring cash; they don't accept credit cards. That was the only slight drawback :3

09/05/2026: Aside from the fish swimming upside down, the atmosphere is pleasant. The welcome and service are very friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. The food didn't particularly excite me, but at this price, it's still acceptable because it's very honest.

02/11/2025: To celebrate my mother's 96th birthday, we decided to go to La Chaumière in Villeneuve-sur-Allier. And there, what a surprise! We were greeted by the owner, smiling and charming, in her warm, country-style restaurant. Right away, even before sitting down, we already felt a bit at home! We ordered our set menu (€12) and soon after, a starter arrived: beautifully presented beef carpaccio, followed by a piece of chicken on a bed of cabbage, accompanied by mushrooms and potatoes—all absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of spice…and a dessert of rice pudding (just like in the old days). We thought to ourselves, it's impossible to get such a meal for that price! We chatted a lot with our hostess, Sophie. She and her husband, both originally from Belgium, took over this hotel-restaurant a year ago. For us, it was a real success... We truly felt Sophie's dedication to doing everything to satisfy her customers; we were pampered, even receiving a gift for Mom's birthday! We certainly won't wait for another birthday to return to La Chaumière and encourage all readers of this message to do the same. A must-visit. Thank you, Sophie.

09/10/2025: This charming cottage with its authentic character is a must-see. The owners are exceptionally kind and welcoming. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. Breakfast is superb. A wonderful discovery. Easily accessible. Vehicle parking available.
