19/08/2024: Very pleasant welcome and very helpful. The service was supposed to be finished at 2 p.m., the waiter took the trouble to inquire about the possibility of being able to eat. The person was able to eat, and enjoy the rice salad and fish a little less the fries. One person in 4, 1 lunch menu and 3 drinks. Very fast service and pleasant place. Relatively calm given the time.

22/08/2024: Very warm welcome. Golf with a family atmosphere. The course is in a valley but on the way back there are holes with slopes.

Carafe of water made available upon our arrival.
Choice of dishes: flounder with meunière sauce, poultry fillet with morel mushroom sauce, roast pork. Side dishes: baked potatoes, fries, vegetables.
Copiously served and good.
Desserts: red fruit cake, crepiau or ice cream.
Everything is homemade except the ice cream.
Dammann tea please!
Menu: main course, dessert, coffee: €15
Very clean toilets, accessible to disabled people.

22/09/2024: Very well located hotel, welcoming, kind and attentive staff. The bedding is very comfortable and the breakfast generous. If you come with a dog, he will be well pampered 😊
I highly recommend this hotel
Please note: there is no parking but it is possible to park nearby in the green zone and for free, 10/15 minutes' walk away depending on the location.

Notice :
I've been coming for quite some time, I've had pastries there and I'm never disappointed, always very good. The price is nevertheless a little above expectations but not excessive. The atmosphere is very comfortable, the staff is welcoming and always there to respond to our requests with a smile.
If I can advise you, there are pineapple coconut éclairs at the moment, they are exquisite! Try it as soon as possible before they disappear!

Do you have a problem with the traders at the Commentry market???
The boss is playing it!!! he acts smart in front of women but I think that in front of a man he won't act smart. I have nothing to criticize what he does, just look at the almost empty room whereas with the previous owners the room was always packed... apparently this is not the first house that are you holding???

Disappointing experience with a particularly unpleasant waitress with glasses. We clearly had the impression of disturbing her: when we asked for toast after having already had pancakes, she sighed, which made us uncomfortable. We wanted to add pancakes and toast, but we didn't dare ask for fear of his reaction.
It's a real shame, because we pass by every day and usually choose to have breakfast here (between €19 and €25 in PM, which is not nothing). A better attitude would have completely changed the experience.

I ate such delicious food!
The tomato mozzarella salad: the best mozzarella of my life (although I'm not a fan of the basics). It was melt-in-your-mouth, tasty, the tomatoes at the perfect temperature, the plate was generous and the sanitation was perfect, everything was there!
The strawberry cup for dessert was the best ever (better than the ones from my garden!)
Melt in the mouth, dark red, naturally sweet, room temperature, no acidity, excellent quality!
I enjoyed myself and congratulations for the brilliant service, for agreeing to make me a plate of charcuterie of my choice and serving it late!
The flowery and intimate terrace is very pretty!
A gem of an address!
I recommend 1000%!
