18/12/2024: We trusted the heart of Meaulne for our wedding meal on December 13 as well as to bed our witnesses and everyone was delighted!! Excellent cuisine, comfortable mattress and warm welcome. Without forgetting the catering service the next day for the religious wedding which delighted all our guests. Thanks for everything!

15/12/2024: Meal taken on Sunday lunchtime with family, excellent meal for a menu at €28. Sufficient quantity. Very attentive waiter and very good advice on wines. We will come back

18/11/2024: A 64 ans, c'est la première fois de ma vie que je commande un menu et que j'attends 1 heure et demie pour ne pas être servi! à la limite du temps à consacrer, j'ai dû partir sans déjeuner. Bon, il y a plus grave, mais lorsque je demande mon oeuf mayo à 13h00 en disant que je dois partir à 13h30...et qu'il n'est jamais arrivé...vous en pensez quoi? Perso, je n'irai plus jamais là!

03/08/2024: A dinner of exceptional flavor! I ate such delicious food! The tomato mozzarella salad: the best mozzarella of my life (although I'm not a fan of the basics). It was melt-in-your-mouth, tasty, the tomatoes at the perfect temperature, the plate was generous and the sanitation was perfect, everything was there! The strawberry cup for dessert was the best ever (better than the ones from my garden!) Melt in the mouth, dark red, naturally sweet, room temperature, no acidity, excellent quality! I enjoyed myself and congratulations for the brilliant service, for agreeing to make me a plate of charcuterie of my choice and serving it late! The flowery and intimate terrace is very pretty! A gem of an address! I recommend 1000%!

09/08/2024: The view from the room is exceptional, amply justifying the three stars awarded to this recently renovated space. On the other hand, access to the rooms in building 2 leaves something to be desired: stairs in poor condition, no elevator, which does not meet the expected standards. In addition, the absence of electrical outlets near the bed in 2024 is surprising and impractical for charging phones. As for the restaurant, after a disappointing first evening, we preferred to dine on our balcony the second night. Special mention all the same to the butler, very helpful and smiling. After a day of visiting, we wanted to take advantage of the swimming pool. However, the organization is insufficient for a four-star hotel: to get a towel, you have to cross the restaurant in a swimsuit and go to reception, then repeat the journey once you have finished swimming, which is uncomfortable and impractical. A dedicated pool service would be an asset to improve the guest experience and could even generate additional revenue for the hotel. In summary, this hotel has the potential to receive more positive reviews, but this requires rehabilitation work and service up to the four stars advertised.

23/08/2024: To flee! The frying is frozen in the middle. I saw the lady take the sweets that remained on the table and put them back in the common salad bowl. The saleswomen speak badly and attack the children. My 12 year old son took a candy at the checkout after paying and he was told no. Horrible !!!

06/09/2024: Very good for a buffet. Good food and reasonable prices especially during the week. Small downside....very large room therefore noisy. With aperitif and drinks count 20 euros per person during the week.

26/08/2024: A meal for 13.50 euros isn't worth more and I'm nice. Les.news not great shrimp fritters too much batter. The fried vegetables are just onions, the uncooked wok is very greasy and I'm sure it's very very noisy even on a Monday. It's not worth stopping and employing them who are not welcoming. And I'm not talking to you about the toilets, the mops lying around on the floor and very dirty. Go your way

02/10/2023: Je ne recommande vraiment pas. Suprême de volaille à 15€10 et n’est vraiment pas bon, il est sec, les frites sèches et pas faites maison. Mousse au chocolat (7€50…) liquide et pas super bonne. Puis, rajoutez 30 centimes à chacun de vos plats si vous souhaitez manger en terrasse sachant que la table est bancale et les chaises pas très confortable. Enfin bref, juste inadmissible vu les prix qu’ils proposent. Si ça avait été moins cher peut être que mon avait aurait changé.

14/08/2024: I was very disappointed with my experience at this Japanese restaurant. The fish, which is supposed to be the key element of many dishes, was unfortunately not fresh and too salty to cover the taste. This not only affected the taste, but also raised concerns about hygiene. Additionally, I noticed flies landing on the food, which is unacceptable for a restaurant. It really leaves something to be desired in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. I do not recommend this establishment, especially if you are looking for fresh produce and a clean environment.

08/08/2024: Exorbitant prices €46 to eat 5 sushi and 5 shrimp for lunch with flies everywhere, I advise against it

20/08/2024: We left before the service started. Dog droppings, questionable hygiene and cannabis being consumed on the terrace did not make us want to discover more.

19/08/2024: Arrived late during the monthly karaoke night, great experience! Good meal, and above all great atmosphere, friendly, funny, warm... Go there!!

21/09/2024: Very friendly welcome and service, with bowl for our dog. Fish of the day and small fry, delicious. All on a terrace on the banks of the Allier. Great!

12/09/2024: My visit to this restaurant left a lot to be desired. From the start the service was poor. Although we specified that all dishes would be shared, we were not even provided with extra plates, which was both inconvenient and inconvenient. We started with a salad, quite acceptable. However, the real problem came with the main courses. The meat and mussels were served at the same time, making the experience even more confusing as it was difficult to enjoy both dishes properly. The meat was, without a doubt, the biggest disappointment of the evening. It was so hard that it was almost impossible to chew, and it was completely tasteless. We had to add some sauce to give it some flavor which made us regret ordering it. As for the mussels, although the flavor was okay, they were extremely small, almost as if they were another variety, which reduced the quality of the dish. To top it off, most of the preparations were accompanied by cheese, which, although it may please some, in this case only served to mask the lack of quality, and was difficult to digest. Finally, the house red wine was just terrible. Of a quality comparable to that of a cooking wine, it was also served hot, which is unacceptable in a restaurant worthy of the name.
