12/04/2026: This isn't the first time we've had lunch at the Auberge de Banne. It's always a delight: tasty, flavorful, and generous dishes, a superb setting with a beautiful terrace. The wait can be a little long, but it's not unpleasant to wait in such a lovely setting (we take the opportunity to sample the local wine...). Certainly one of the best restaurants in the region.

08/04/2026: The village and the terrace are inviting, however, the friendliness of the service is clearly lacking!

19/07/2026: A hotel that's okay in a pinch, but the room is tiny and needs updating. The only saving grace is the air conditioning. The pool is dirty, and there are people living across the street, which is annoying. €75 is a bit pricey for one night. Bring your own shower gel, as there are only two small sachets provided. And to get to the pool, you have to go through the bar. 😏 We won't be back.

17/07/2026: I stopped by for a takeaway coffee. I was very warmly welcomed by the gentleman. I was served by his daughter, and when I saw there was a swimming pool outside, I politely remarked, "There's a swimming pool," using it as a compliment because it was very nice. She replied, "No, it's an ice rink." I was extremely surprised by her response. Disappointing coming from the staff.

14/09/2026: I ordered, he wasn't happy because I had to cancel, and on top of that, he's not accommodating with the tacos, unlike others who are happy to remove the fries and vegetables. Oh, and delivery is only for orders over €22, even though you have to spend €24 since delivery is only €2.

06/09/2026: As a big kebab fan, I feel obligated to warn future customers: the meat is bland, very greasy, and the portion size for an anorexic sandwich is ridiculously small, especially considering the €11 meal deal. So, I don't recommend it. It's a shame; it used to be good here, but that was then 🤤. Improve yourselves, Istanbul, and stop using the cheapest quality kebabs.

01/09/2026: Unbeatable lunch deal with a lovely appetizer buffet. Friendly (though sometimes slow) service and a nice shaded terrace. The best spot around for a casual lunch. Arrive early, it gets packed by noon. Note: lunch only.

13/09/2026: Perfect. Very warm welcome despite not having booked and a considerable crowd. Quick and courteous service. Good food.

08/09/2026: A very pleasant surprise. At first glance, you don't expect to find such delicious food (chef's mussels and ravioli). The owner is friendly and has a great sense of humor. We had a lovely time. I highly recommend it.

22/08/2026: No complaints about the meal, however the waitresses weren't very friendly, which was a shame.

18/09/2026: The waiter made it clear that we had to leave because our dog tends to bark when another dog passes by.

13/09/2026: We went there as a family and honestly, I have absolutely nothing negative to say! The staff is very welcoming, friendly, and above all, accommodating! The terrace is super cozy. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was great... I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!

13/09/2026: Saddened to have to lower the average, but unfortunately the nonchalant welcome and mediocre service leave me no choice.

28/08/2026: Unbeatable prices for delicious pizzas. And on top of that, a charming person makes them. Buy without hesitation at some of the lowest prices in France. Bravo!

30/04/2026: Unpleasant welcome, we barely arrived and didn't feel like ordering, we left immediately.

28/08/2026: So, the potential of this place is extraordinary, but... I arrived by motorcycle for one night and set up my tent. I wanted to take a shower; there were two open showers, one without a light. So I took the other one, and the wall-mounted shower holder was barely hanging on, let's say, by some miracle, and the water was cold! The same went for the sinks and washbasins! There was no maintenance of the facilities, including the famous swimming pool, even though the campsite is closing soon! As for the phone signal, it's unreliable in the forest, and I had to practically beg for Wi-Fi... Very disappointed!

04/08/2026: My husband and I came in June. I don't understand the negative reviews; we had a wonderful week. The campsite is clean, and the sanitary facilities are also clean and well-maintained! We received a very warm welcome. The owners are very kind, helpful, and attentive. We ate twice at the small restaurant and had lunch there once. Everything was very good, plentiful, I would even say delicious. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews, because you will honestly have a great stay. Thank you again for this lovely week! ☺️
