The Hak cocktail was great. I agree with the other reviews about the high stools not being very comfortable. The restrooms were clean but there was no toilet paper or soap, and the lock was broken.

18/07/2026: Excellent Asian restaurant, especially for bao buns. We discovered flavors we weren't used to. The bao buns were absolutely delicious. The appetizers were also original. The service was impeccable! For lunch, the canal setting adds a completely different charm, especially in summer. Highly recommended!

17/08/2026: Korean restaurants abroad tend to have a bit of an old-fashioned vibe, but this place has the atmosphere of a fine dining restaurant. The seasoned fried chicken I had as an appetizer and the spicy pork stir-fry as the main dish were really delicious, and the side dishes and soft tofu stew had a charmingly subtle, balanced flavor. Judging solely by the taste of the food, not just the Michelin ratings and other accolades, the owner seemed like a true master chef.

I really wonder how they can run a restaurant like that… Even taking cultural differences into account, there's still a minimum standard: knowing how to set a table properly and being able to clearly explain the dishes. Here, even these basics seemed completely neglected. It's truly outrageous. After the BTS concert, I simply wanted to eat Korean food and decided to try a restaurant in the neighborhood. Clearly, that was a mistake on my part. I have only myself to blame for choosing this place.

27/07/2026: Jinchan has been my favorite restaurant since 2021, and I go at least once a month. I've never been disappointed! The food is excellent and always very fresh (I recommend the Karaage don with egg!). The service is also impeccable: the entire team is professional, attentive, and always offers great advice. Whenever friends come to visit me in Paris, I take them to Jinchan. And when I have something to celebrate, it's also my go-to spot (so much so that my friends gave me the restaurant's t-shirt for my birthday!). The decor is very cute. The interior can be a bit noisy, but the terrace is a great alternative if you're looking for a bit more peace and quiet. In short, excellent value for money. You can go without hesitation!

18/07/2026: Proper Thai flavors in Toulouse! 🇹🇭 honestly there aren’t so many authentic Thai restaurants in town but this is surely one of them and sits high up on the list. And they have the green papaya salad which is hard to find! Overall - food was properly prepared, authentically spicy and came out fast. The staff was nice and polite. Recommended 👍🏼

Nems) - chicken satay (sauce was a little sweet and really tasty) (perfect 👌) (#5. Poulet Satay) - chicken wrapped in pandan leaves gave a beautiful hint of Pandan flavour and the sweet chilli or honey sauce complemented the chicken nicely (perfect 👌) (#7. Poulet Enrobé ) - Sweet and sour chicken was very saucy with jasmine rice 😊 (#33. Pad Priaw Wane) - beef and chicken pad see-eew (nicely presented and full of flavour) (#38. pad si-hauw) - prawn and calamari fried rice - flavoured to perfection (#39. Khawla pad) - fried chocolate rolls with ice-cream (removed the whipped cream) - vanilla ice-creams - drinks

29/07/2026: We discovered this Tibetan restaurant just steps from the Gare de Lyon, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a change from more traditional Asian cuisine. 🇹🇭🏔️ The atmosphere is authentic and traditional, with a real sense of place. While the restaurant could use a little updating and better maintenance (especially the restrooms), this almost adds to its charm and gives the impression of being in a small Tibetan inn. 🍺 We absolutely loved the Tibetan beer: light, very pleasant, with a hint of Sapporo. At €5.50, it's an excellent find and a very reasonable price for an imported beer. 🥟 If you only order one thing, make it the momos! These Tibetan dumplings, generously filled with meat and cheese, were simply delicious. They alone are enough to make you want to come back. On the other hand, I was less convinced by the chicken curry and the meat dishes. The portions were decent, but the quality of the meat didn't seem to live up to the rest of the meal. The traditional bread is visually striking, even if its texture is mostly reminiscent of breadcrumbs. ⭐ Overall, a great find for the atmosphere, the authentic flavors, and especially the momos. If you're near Gare de Lyon and enjoy discovering new cuisines, I recommend stopping by… and above all, don't leave without trying the momos and the Tibetan beer!
