16/06/2024: We went there for Father's Day,,,,,a disaster...the aperitif arrived at the end of the meal.we had to ask for it several times...they were overwhelmed...the dishes were empty... a month of...but it was normal...he couldn't manage the world...people were complaining...

16/07/2024: Very disappointing experience, impression of frozen products, flavorless meat, overwhelmed servers. The recent change of ownership unfortunately does not live up to the reputation of the old restaurant.

11/07/2024: My wife and I had dinner here on the last day of a five-day holiday in the port town of Sète, France. Our previous restaurant outings had been quite satisfactory, so, by contrast Le Jasmin was a disappointment and poor value for money. The service was polite and relatively rapid, the cooking itself was quite tasty, but the portions we found to be rather mean. Most particularly, the Cantonese rice should have been, for 6 euros, a generous platter, but in fact would barely have made two tablespoonfuls, while the prawn salad, despite being 8+ euros, consisted of 2-3 prawns cut into smaller pieces on a mound of bean sprouts. We paid about 50 euros for what was, in the end, a distinctly modest meal, leaving (metaphorically speaking) a bad taste in the mouth.

31/08/2024: There is a lot of charm exuding from this bamboo grove, which has nothing to envy of its big sister in Gard. Visiting it one morning in complete tranquility was one of the pleasures of the Ariège vacation. The works of art that punctuate the walk add to the beauty of the place.

07/09/2024: 2024: We arrived one hour early because our hotel apartment was not ready. So we borrowed the chairs outside. We were warmly welcomed by the staff 30 minutes later. We ordered a delicious evening meal. 3 different choices as we all have our preferences. Everything fresh. Meat, noodles and rice. I got extra 🌶️ chili. Strong and fresh. After a long day driving more than 500 km this was like being treated in an expensive restaurant. The difference is that this is an affordable eating place with healthy food. Later in the week I tried alternative places on same street. No comparison in the way I enjoyed Pagoda. 2023: We tried two other nearby eating places for variation, but this is the only place where I feel good after eating. We had soup, wok and rice. Thank you for healthy and delicious food. 2022: This place deserves a Michelin star. I would have liked to give it 6 Google stars. We had soup, noodles and chicken with a touch of Thai curry. The family running this business since 1999 are very friendly and helpful to advice. The food ingredients are fresh and cooked by professionals. Healthy cooking with vegetables and not too much oils. Thanks to this place I got to eat wok with noodles with a unique taste. A couple of hours later my stomach was in a good shape. It had suffered from nearby fast food since the weekend. Thank you In the evening we could not resist. We bought takeaway beef and shrimps. Cooked rice in hotel apartment. Yet another perfect meal. Amazing. Next evening we also came back to eat Ramen and Phou soup. Ordered Sushi to eat in the hotel balcony. The gentleman serving gave me extra fresh chili as I like 🔥 food. Conclusion: We live like kings in Pagoda Restaurant.

21/09/2024: Je viens ici depuis des années, c’est toujours une valeur sûre. Toujours très bon, copieux, la salle est jolie, le service impeccable… on s’y sent comme à la maison, et pour un prix très raisonnable.

07/09/2024: Petit restaurant dont la façade ne paie pas de mine, tellement discrète qu'on a du mal à la repérer en passant en voiture. La carte est bien fournie, avec des plats typiquement vietnamiens que l'on trouve rarement dans la région et qui demandent un peu plus de travail que les très courants boeuf/porc/crevettes sautés. Nous étions neuf, et pourtant la qualité des plats n'en a pas pâti : tous les plats étaient bien assaisonnés, savoureux, nous nous en léchions les babines. Et particulièrement moi, car ayant perdu l'odorat et le goût il y a 4 mois (sans doute un Covid passé inaperçu), j'ai été surprise de trouver les plats goûteux, preuve que je retrouverai sans doute mes sens bientôt. Le seul petit reproche que nous avions formulé est le manque de "verdure", car au Viet Nam les plats sont le plus souvent servis avec beaucoup de légumes ou plutôt des herbes. Mais le restaurateur nous a expliqué que les européens n'apprécient pas trop ce vert, en particulier la coriandre, et c'est pourquoi sa femme qui est aux fourneaux n'en met qu'avec parcimonie. Les desserts étaient simples mais bien présentés, et l'on sentait que ce n'étaient pas des desserts industriels mais faits maison (pour les beignets). Les sorbets sont délicieux, à base de vrais fruits (j'y ai trouvé des petits morceaux d'enveloppe de cassis et de framboise). ... Surtout ne pas rater l'occasion d'y aller !

29/09/2024: As soon as you open the door you are transported, the decor is superb. The team takes great care, Special mention for the young girl who welcomed us, her calm and caring aura immediately put us at ease, she was able to recommend excellent specialties to us!! The food is delicious, everything is fresh! The mochis and spring rolls are to die for!!!! Drinks and dishes are prepared with care and generosity. A very pleasant moment, thank you ❤️

23/09/2024: What a disappointment for the King Bo Bun to take away... The portion was ridiculously small, the 2 meats were more than lukewarm, the taste was OK. But €17 for that (without spring rolls), is largely unjustified in my opinion.
